Hello! My wife and I are long‑time dog lovers/owners who would be delighted to share our time and attention with your pet. After recently saying goodbye to our beloved Golden Retriever, we currently have a dog‑free home. While we’re not ready to return to full‑time dog ownership, we’re excited to welcome other dogs into our lives—whether for daytime care or extended overnight stays. Our spacious, modern home sits in front of a scenic pond along an extensive walking path, with acres of green space and nearby dog parks perfect for exercise and play. As a retiree, I’m able to devote plenty of time to caring for and entertaining your pets throughout the day. My wife, who works outside the home, loves the warmth and companionship dogs bring after a busy day, adding even more affection and attention to their care. And our college-age daughter is often home from school to provide more love, play and doting (especially the doting!). We’re an active family, and walks and exercise are already part of our daily routine. Your pets will be treated as welcome guests in our home, receiving the love, care, and companionship they deserve. We can't wait to meet you and your furry family!

Tom took great care of our 14 year old chihuahua, who is on a special diet. He kept us up to date on how she was doing and sent lots of photos of their time together.
Everything was great from beginning to end! Ellie had a great time with Tom. He was flexible, communicative, and kept her active with lots of walks and play time. He sent the perfect amount of pictures and updates, and I know Ellie would be so excited to go back for future trips! Highly recommend!
He’s FABULOUS! My dog has not been boarded for years and coming to Tom’s home was easy for him. Tom took the time to meet us before he came to stay long term, so when Max saw Tom he was all happy tag wags! This is a miraculous event. I expected Max to be shy and back away, but he trotted into the house like he was an old friend. I am so grateful for Tom!
Tom was fantastic with our dog. He was great at communicating and our dog was comfortable and relaxed from the moment we got there. Would highly recommend Tom and would absolutely have him watch Henry again.

We provide a safe, welcoming environment where pets are treated like family. Our modern home offers ample space, nearby walking paths, and green areas for play and fresh air.
A typical day
A typical day includes scenic walks (long or short, depending on your pet's preference), playful indoor activities, and plenty of cuddling and comforting—something every dog and person needs. During warmer months, we also visit a MetroParks dog-friendly swimming pond, for those more adventurous breeds.
