I have been a pet sitter/ dog walker with Rover for over 3 years. I have gotten a chance to meet so many wonderful pets, and I love getting to know each one of them! My Greater Swiss Mountain Dog lived to be exactly 13.5 years, so I have experience taking care of a dog through all phases of life. As a senior, she required a lot of assistance with getting up/ walking. When she was younger, I hosted many doggie play dates in my backyard. I took her to parks all around the city and walked her 3 miles a day. I have cared for and walked neighborhood dogs, big and small. I have 3 cats, so I cannot care for your pet inside my home, but I am dedicated to making sure they get the stimulation or exercise they need in your home/ neighborhood. I make sure my cats get exercise, too. On nice days, I leave the windows open so they can take in all the smells. I like to simulate the movements of prey animals when I play with them. I absolutely love animals, and I will care for your pet as if it is my own. I give detailed information for every walk or drop in. I know what it is like to worry about a pet while away from them! I am very focused during walks, only using my phone to update you or take requested photos. For high energy dogs, I like to jog with them to give them the extra exercise they need. It is an honor for me to be trusted to care for your pet. I am a stay at home mom, so I have plenty of availability during school hours. I love being outside and getting exercise, and I cannot wait to meet your pet! I have a lot of experience walking large dogs (I love the gentle leader!) I crate trained my own dog- she was a big time chewer and couldn’t be trusted to roam freely around the house unsupervised.

Safety, trust & environment
I do my best to get pets enough exercise so they are calm and relaxed when I have to leave. This helps to reduce anxious behavior. I will get them outside as much as possible.

Yasmin was great with our dog, Oreo. She was able to arrive earlier in the day when Oreo is used to getting her morning walk. Oreo loved seeing Yasmin first thing in the morning.

Yasmin is so great with Zeus! She’s reliable and shows up in time which helps with my piece of mind when I’m at work.
Yasmin is very patient and understanding of our dog Ruger. She also identifies and communicates concern if she feels something is not quite right (fatigue, other body system issues). We are lucky to have found Yasmin.

Schedule
Most of my availability is during school hours. I start as early as 8:00 am. My last walk usually ends by 3:00. I don’t usually work on the weekends.
