About: I’m a local mom of two boys and a lifelong animal lover, and I’d love to help care for your pets like they’re part of our family. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pet—whether it’s for a quick trip or a longer vacation—so my goal is to make sure you feel completely at ease. I provide dependable, calm, and attentive care, with lots of updates so you always know how your pet is doing. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I’m home most days and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to plan my day around the pets I’m caring for. I’m able to provide consistent visits, walks, feeding, and attention throughout the day, and I make sure each pet stays on their normal routine as much as possible. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening care, I build it into my schedule so pets feel comfortable and cared for. Because I’m not overbooked, I’m able to give each pet my full attention and make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for. I always tailor my care to each pet’s routine and personality so they feel as comfortable as possible. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping things consistent - feeding, walks, playtime, and rest all follow their normal schedule. I spend quality time with each pet so they don’t feel rushed or alone, and I’m careful to keep the home clean and secure. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is doing well.

I own a trailer rental company and can alter my schedule however is needed to make sure all animals in my care and on my schedule are well cared for. About: As a dedicated pet sitter who works from home, I’m able to provide constant care and attention to your furry family member. With a secure fenced yard, your dog will enjoy plenty of outdoor time and bathroom breaks whenever needed. What truly sets me apart is the love we have for dogs—we treat every pup like one of our own. I regularly care for friends’ dogs while they're on vacation, and our home becomes a mini getaway for the pups too, with toys, snuggles, and parent-approved treats. Your dog won’t just be watched—they’ll be loved. Since I work from home, I have the flexibility to take dogs for walks during meeting breaks or let them play and relax in our fenced-in yard throughout the day. On weekends, I love exploring local trails and dog parks, and—with your approval— I’d be thrilled to include your dog in our outdoor adventures. Our fenced-in yard offers a safe and spacious area for dogs to play and get fresh air throughout the day. We have a large dog crate available if your pup prefers a quiet, secure space to rest. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor toys for playtime—you're welcome to bring your dog’s favorites too. Our sweet 3-year-old golden retriever, Lychee, is friendly and loves having playmates. We’re within walking distance of a fenced-in dog park, perfect for extra exercise and social time (with your approval). Frequent photo updates—I love capturing special moments to share with you. Your pet’s safety is our top priority; AirTag or pet GPS tracker available.

About: I have dog sat numerous times over the years to back up my sister when she was not available. In addition to caring for the pets, I have retrieved mail, newspapers, watered: lawns, flower beds, potted plants and houseplants. I turn lights on, and the TV for your pet. I love spending time with pets and would play with your pet and look after it as it was my own. I currently work full-time Monday through Wednesday and would be available to drop in to care for your pet Thursday through Sunday. I prefer a meet and greet ahead of time to make sure I am a good fit for your pet, however it’s not required if you are in a bind. I can easily drop in feed your dog & take it for a short walk. I can also have the TV on and a light if needed. I live in an apartment with my 10 year-old golden doodle however, due to my lease agreement, I am unable to care for your pet in my home or stay overnight in your home to care for your pet. I do not have a yard but open to taking your pet to the dog park, if they need to run, play and socialize with other dogs.

About: I've owned dogs since high-school. I blessed to meet my soul dog 6yrs ago, but unfortunately lost him to cancer a year after we adopted him. Our current pup, Harley is a huge couch potato and loves kids... but she's my husband's doggo. I'm looking for families who can appreciate having a caretaker for their pets, who wants to be best friends with every dog and cat she meets and will love them like family. I work from home Monday- Friday. Which gives me lots of flexibility to provide care for your pets as needed. My job requires me to be detail oriented, good at multitasking and extremely reliable. All traits that I can bring into providing care for your furry best friend! I have great communication skills, can follow pet schedules as required for food/walks/potty breaks etc, and administer medication. As well as providing all the other important needs your pets might have, playtime, snuggles and treats!

About: I've had a dog in my home since I was born, having 7 different dogs in my home over my lifetime. For the first time in 32 years, I have no dog in my home, because I'm living with my sister and can't get one of my very own, but I have lots of doggie love to share with your pups! Im currently unemployed and lost my most recent dog last year, I'm not quite ready to take the plunge and get a dog yet, but I miss having a pup around and have a lot of doggie loving to give. I promise to treat your dogs with the utmost care, and like they were a member of my own family. I'll keep them safe and happy until you can be reunited.

About: I have had Dogs ever since I was born! When I was 13, I started watching dogs around the neighborhood doing drop and visits for families while they were out of town. Starting in January 2025 I watched Dogs overnight for this one family and watch them throughout the day for weeks when they went out of town throughout the year. I work a part-time job at a golf course and have very flexible hours. I’m willing to be very flexible and work to help out with your pups. We are also coming into the slow season so I have even more time. Obviously, every animal has its own different needs, so I am able to adapt to what your specific animal needs and will make sure your animals are happy and healthy.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of August 2026, there are 2,382 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Watkins. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Watkins. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Watkins.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Watkins. On Rover:

  • 94% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
