Dog Walking New Dover

About: I have dog sat numerous times over the years to back up my sister when she was not available. In addition to caring for the pets, I have retrieved mail, newspapers, watered: lawns, flower beds, potted plants and houseplants. I turn lights on, and the TV for your pet. I love spending time with pets and would play with your pet and look after it as it was my own. I currently work full-time Monday through Wednesday and would be available to drop in to care for your pet Thursday through Sunday. I prefer a meet and greet ahead of time to make sure I am a good fit for your pet, however it’s not required if you are in a bind. I can easily drop in feed your dog & take it for a short walk. I can also have the TV on and a light if needed. I live in an apartment with my 10 year-old golden doodle however, due to my lease agreement, I am unable to care for your pet in my home or stay overnight in your home to care for your pet. I do not have a yard but open to taking your pet to the dog park, if they need to run, play and socialize with other dogs.

About: I have over 7 years of pet care experience, both through Rover and privately, and I’ve had the pleasure of caring for all kinds of dogs, from Pit Bulls and Boxers to Corgis and Dachshunds! I know how hard it can be to leave your pets in someone else’s care, so I want you to feel completely comfortable trusting me with them and your home. I prioritize keeping pets safe, following your instructions carefully, securing doors and gates, using leashes responsibly, and being mindful of their surroundings. I respect each pet’s boundaries and never force interactions if they need a little extra time to feel comfortable with me. I also believe communication goes a long way, so I’m happy to send updates, photos, and little check-ins while you’re away. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away without worrying, knowing your pets are being cared for with patience, love, and attention.

About: I am a Registered Veterinary Technician and long time dog sitter for family and friends. I love meeting new pets and giving them lots of scratches! I’m a Veterinary Technician and I work at a pretty flexible job where I work 4 days a week and get two hour lunch breaks. Having the extra time over lunch allows me to check on pets mid day and do walks/meds/lunch feedings etc. I usually do care in clients homes rather than my own. However, watching pets in my home can be worked as long as they get along with other dogs and cats. I have two very dog friendly dogs and a couple very happy and cuddly cats!

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats for almost 12 years, including five years of teaching them to be well-behaved and nearly five years of taking care of big animals. When visiting, I respect the clients belongings and know which rooms are accessible during each stay. I’m aware of security cameras. Respectful of bathrooms, showers, Kitchens, Bedrooms. I bring and make my own food. I also discuss how to handle outgoing/incoming mail, trash, and ensure all doors, windows, and garages are locked and secure.

About: I’ve been a lifelong dog owner. As a child the dog care was always my chore and I have participated in several training and obedience schools. As an adult I’ve owned 8 dogs of all sizes and breeds. All of their training and care was my responsibility. I have a long term plans to own my own rescue for senior animals. I worked with a certified trainer to train my Lucy in obedience and service tasks. I have experience taking care of puppies, seniors dogs, senior cats, and kittens. I have nursed and fostered kittens as young as three weeks to get them out of barn dumps and into loving homes. My youngest cat, Courage, is my first ever foster fail! I am not shied away by medications either, as I have plenty of experience with administering them to both cats and dogs. I currently work full-time as a special education teacher. I am available on weekdays after 4:30pm, and I'm very open on weekends. I can also accept longer bookings on weekdays that fall under school breaks! I will ensure I am doing everything possible to keep pets safe and happy in my clients' homes. I can clean up toys as needed, fill water bowls, and scoop litter boxes to maintain a neat environment.

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 11 and have experience with a wide veriety of small to large size dogs. Experience includins walking, playing, pottying , brushing and giving medicine. Pet care is my primary focus as I am not employed elsewhere. Because I stay at the pet's home, my routine is based around care of the pet. I spend my time in the client's home playing with and caring for the pet(s). I follow the pet's routine as directed by the client, providing walks, feedings, play and bedtime routines the pet is accustomed to having.

When going for walks just around the neighborhood I like to add just a little running to get those heartbeats pumping. With check-ins I'm available to do about 3-4 times a day if needed, I am also willing to give medicine if your pet requires it. In my client's home, I make sure that the animal is comfortable with me in any and all situations. I ensure that they are also fed, given medications if needed, exercised, and loved all in a visit.
