Hi there! I’m Kristen. I have 9+ years experience as a pet groomer and 3+ years experience as a dog daycare attendant/walker. I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all breeds, ages and temperaments. I’ve always been a major animal lover- You could usually find me hanging around with pets instead of people everywhere I went as a child, and that hasn’t really changed :) I have plenty of experience administering oral medications and am happy to learn how to administer any shots/other medication needed. I’m the proud mother of Spencer the chihuahua (also known as Spencerlina, Mr. Buttface, The Mostest, Niles Cranium, etc.) and Rue the sphynx cat (also answers to Rucifer, Ruebarb Pie, and Strawberry Milk Cow.) Can’t wait to meet you and your babies!

It’s incredibly important to me that your pet feels autonomous and safe in my care. One of my favorite things about working with animals has always been bonding and nurturing the trust with each pet I meet. Please let me know if your pet has any quirks I should know about or needs any individualized accommodations.

Schedule
*I am currently taking time away due to a death in the family* I offer walks and drop ins. I try to schedule all meet and greets on Monday evenings. If you’re an existing client receiving a Rover auto message that says I am too far away to book with, please reach out through an old thread!

- Happy to do a phone or in-person meet and greet before I sit for or walk/drop-in on your pet! It’s not necessary, just if you want:) Are there any enrichment activities your pet enjoys? Are there any behaviors you’d like me to work on with your pet? (I am not a trainer but if there’s something specific you’ve been working on and would like me to enforce, let me know!) In general , the more information on how to provide your pet with the best care possible, the better. Please pass along anything you’d feel more comfortable I be aware of.
