I have been petting sitting on my own for several years for friends and neighbors. Word has continued to get out, about how great everyone’s experience was from top to bottom so I thought I’d make a go at it here! I am a PATH certified CTRI working with equines and vulnerable populations. I currently train and handle our horse herd there and am a very confident and gentle equestrian, but firm when needed. This translates well to pet sitting often as animals have a way of knowing who they can trust and I’m patient enough to give them the space to figure that out.

Our dogs love Ashley. She does such an amazing job with them. She always goes above and beyond to make sure the dogs are cared for and happy, taking time to go on walks with them, play with them, and love on them. We always love the pictures she takes and sends to us while we're gone and the dogs always look so happy. Ashley has stayed at our house to watch them for extended times (1-3 weeks) and also leaves the house looking better than we left it. Ashley is wonderful! 5+ Stars
I will only hire Ashley to take care of my reactive shelter dog. We did several introductions beforehand with her and my dog, and she displayed such incredible patience with my girl. She adhered to her schedule to keep her as comfortable as possible and spoke to her in such a gentle manner. My dog now gets so excited every time Ashley comes to stay with her on trips. She has such a deep love for all animals and it really shows in how she cares for my dog. She is willing to meet any animal where they are at, respect their boundaries, but never give up on them and loving them. I cannot express how much I trust Ashley to take care of my dog when my family is out of town. She treats my dog as if she were her own.

I currently work part time for a non-profit working w horses and vulnerable populations. I am a riding instructor and photography coordinator. It’s a dream job w a lot Of flexibility currently for me to add in side work
