My job allows me to have a very flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of options for walks or drop-in visits during the week and all day availability on weekends. I’m also comfortable with early morning visits as needed!

Given my experience training & caring for pets throughout the past 30 years, you can feel comfortable that I will provide top notch care for your furry friends. One of my cats has occasionally UTI’s, requiring me to administer an oral medication - trust me, if I can give a 12lbs cat her meds quickly & without much fuss, I can handle any tantrums your pet might throw at me. Whether it’s simple walks, basic command training/practice, crating, or administering basic medication I’m happy to take care of whatever your pet needs!

Pet care experience
I’ve had pets all my life and spent ages 9-18 raising, training, & caring for every pet from cats, dogs, & hamsters to dairy calves & show horses. I also spent 8 years volunteering at a veterinary clinic, a dog shelter, & a cat shelter. Currently I work with Gem City Kitties & Gem City Vet out of Dayton where we find cats forever homes & provide affordable veterinary care to low income families. I grew up with both dogs & cats. For the past 10 years I’ve been a Cat Lady again - living with & loving on our two kitty babes Javabean (Java) & Mimosa Demon-Slayer (Mo). I also work for the Columbus Zoo which is a perfect fit given my love for all animals large and small.

Erica was so great with our kitties while we were away. She had come over to meet them and go over care instructions before we left, so we felt comfortable knowing they were going to be well taken care of. She sent daily pictures and updates, which helped keep us in the loop on how they were doing. One of our kitties had a birthday while we were away and Erica went above and beyond to celebrate her, which meant the world as a pet parent! We will definitely be asking for her help again next time we need help caring for our cats.
