About: I grew up on a farm, so I took care of cats, dogs, and various other farm type animals like horses and cows quite frequently. I also have a cat and two dogs back home that I take care of whenever I go back home. I’m currently waiting to hear back from multiple full time jobs, however this can take a while so at the moment I am usually free 24/7 for any pets who need taken care of! If I was to take a dog to my home, I have plenty of space for them to roam around inside as well as plenty of places outdoors to walk, or even go to the dog park if they enjoy going there. My apartment is perfect for a cat as well because there are plenty of windows for sunbathing and comfortable places to take naps, and for more active cats there is plenty of indoor space to play.
About: I am a veterinary student at THE Ohio State University and I am in New York for a veterinary internship. In addition to daily feedings, walking, and maintenance, I am also able to administer medication orally and via injections if needed. I also have pet guinea pigs and can help with small mammals too. My priority is to make your pet as comfortable as they can be while you are away. Available on weekends and evenings with prior arrangements. I am open to communicating with you to fiddle out how to best care for your pet Please leave instructions if applicable—mix water in food, rotate blankets etc—and I will make sure they happen. In your home, I am respectful of your privacy and will leave everything the way I found it. In my daily/per visit updates, I will note any changes in behavior and appetite so you can make decisions on what you want me to do to help your pet feel better.
