“Emily was wonderful!! It was great being able to leave our dogs at home in a familiar setting while we were out of town. Our dogs loved her visits and could tell she was a loving caring animal person right away. She was super dependable and thorough and was always quick to respond with any questions and concerns when unexpected things would pop up. It was great to get her daily updates about how our dogs were doing each day, complete with maps of where they walked and pictures of what they were doing each day. We were very comfortable leaving our dogs in her care, would certainly want to have her as our dog sitter in the future and would highly recommend her to anyone looking to leave their pet with a reliable care giver, she’s the best! Kevin and Diann G. - Cooper and Maisy too”

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover offering reliable drop-in visits for dogs, cats, and reptiles. As the proud owner of a dachshund, a corgi, and a bearded dragon, I understand that every pet has their own unique personality, routine, and needs. Whether your dog needs a potty break and playtime, your cat needs company and care while you're away, or your reptile needs feeding and habitat checks, I'll treat your pets like they're my own. You can count on me for attentive care, clear communication, and plenty of updates so you can travel with peace of mind.

About: I have owned, fostered, and volunteered with animals for over 10 years. Not only that, I have experience with providing animal therapy in a clinical setting for the last two years. Dogs and cats hold a big piece of my heart and I genuinely love to accommodate to their needs. I have experience raising puppies and kittens, taking care of elderly cats and dogs, and dogs and cats that have behavioral problems. I am familiar on how to care for dogs that have aggressive tendencies, anxiety, and hip problems. Likewise, I have experience handling cats with aggression and timidness. I am a small business owner and have days where I work from home. I could use that time to not only make extra money, but spend time with dogs and cats as well! I make sure to provide as much affection, activity, and attention to my pets to the best of my ability. Which I ensure the same treatment is given to your pets too. Depending on what service you would like me to provide, I am more than happy to go on long walks with your dog, offer enrichment, or maybe you have a lapdog that just needs a temporary companion. I am dependable and have the experience and genuine care and trust to ensure your pet has the best experience possible.
“Mariya did a great job with our 5 animals - 3 cats and 2 dogs, one of them a senior. They all warmed up to her very quickly. She left very thorough report cards that made me at ease while we were away! Highly recommend :)”

About: I've lived with pets my whole life and have found a passion for caring for animals with the same love you have for them! I specialize in cats of all ages and dogs over the age of one. I've had about 5 years of experience in working with anxious dogs who are scared of everything - very used to taking a long time to grt scaredy dogs outside. With that, I'm very experienced in delivering medications or cleaning up messes. I understand how stressed our fur babies feel when we need to leave them and my main goal is to make them as comfortable as absolutely possible. I work full time Monday-Friday but do have some work from home days during the week. I would be more than happy to visit your home during the day for walks or quick take outs! I am also happy to come visit you and your fur babies at anytime to get a better idea of your schedule. I am working on getting Fear Free certified and would be more than happy to provide that certification once acquired. I would be happy to crate your pets if needed. I'll send plenty of photos and updates throughout my visit!
“Marilyn is fantastic with our fur babies. She is prompt and very detailed in her visit communications. On the second visit, she even won over our Maltese—that has never happened!”

“Carina did amazing with our sweet babies, this is the first time using the Rover app and we couldn’t be more pleased! We loved Carina’s updates, photos and her ability to make our animals feel safe and secure!”

“Cayley was amazing. She did everything we asked and more to make Bruce feel comfortable. She is very good with communication and very friendly. I highly recommend!”

“Theresa is very good with our brand new puppy. The puppy listens to her so well that we forget that our puppy still needs to be trained. Theresa has a great knowledge as to how to interact with the dog to make him feel both comfortable and safe around her. We are very appreciative for all her help.”

“We are so happy to have met Abby! We can see how comfortable Addie is with her and enjoys her visits. Abby loves animals and goes above and beyond to make them happy. It’s great to have that peace of mind! Thank you!”

“Khalia was great with our dogs and so easy to work with! She was good at communicating, very professional and friendly. We will definitely reach out to her for help in the future.”

About: I have had dogs and cats my entire life, until the recent passing of my family dog. I am a graduate of The Ohio State University with a BS in Animal Sciences. I have worked at the Columbus Zoo, dog boarding facilities, and vet hospitals so I have a pretty good understanding of dog health and behavior. I am pretty low-key, so I try to be as calm and accommodating to all dog personality types. Whether you have a quiet senior or an excitable puppy, I can bend and mold to your doggo's needs! My services does not stop with just dogs, please ask me about your other lovable critters! I do work full time, so my services will primarily be available after 3:30 and on weekends. If my services are needed before 3:30pm, Please arrange them with me well ahead of time so that I can make the necessary changes in my FT work schedule to fulfill your needs! I am currently working full time Monday-Thursday, so I am available Fridays-Sundays. Depending on your location, I may be available for evening drop ins during the week after 530pm. If you are looking for Housesitting during the weekdays, I am able to take requests on a case-by-case basis. I have a cat of my own at home. Out of respect for both your pet and my own, I typically prefer coming to you and providing care for your pet in the comfort of their own home. Pets stress less when they are able to remain at home in a familiar space. I will treat your home respectfully and
“Mia is a great help! She kept us updated each day after her visits and made sure she did everything to keep Rusty happy! She posted pictures to us everyday. I would love to work with Mia in future!”

About: I’ve been caring for cats and dogs for as long as I can remember — basically, animals have always been part of my life. For the past 10 years, I’ve had my cat Lucky, who proudly believes he is the boss of the house 😄 He’s the reason I fell completely in love with cats and decided to turn this passion into cat sitting. To me, pets are not just pets — they have personalities, feelings, and strong opinions (especially cats!). My main priority is always making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable, just like they would with their own family. With 4 years of cat sitting experience, I’ve learned how to “speak cat” pretty well. I can connect with all kinds of personalities — even the shy or “I don’t trust you yet” type. And honestly, those are the ones I end up winning over the most 😄 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, as I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide care during weekdays and weekends I provide pet care through drop-in visits at the client’s home only. I do not offer overnight stays, and I do not take cats into my own home
The median cost per visit for cat sitting in Flint is $20

Regina was absolutely amazing! This was the first time I left my cat alone for a week, and I was a little nervous but Regina completely put my mind at ease. I came home to a supper happy and healthy cat. She is responsible and communicative, sending detailed updates and photos everyday.

Haleigh came everyday at the exact time she said she would be there. She did a pre-visit to meet them and was easy to get in contact with while I was gone. She would send me pictures and updates. She also took in a few packages that had arrived at my house. I know my kitties loved her! I would recommend her.

As always, Molly is amazing!! She truly is an animal lover and loves my monsters, I mean my furbabies lol. 😹 😹 She takes her time actually get to know them and spends quality time with them as if they are her own and writes a thoughtful notes. I’m pretty sure my spoiled babies are extra spoiled thanks to her! Again, thank you so much for taking care of them. We truly appreciate you. 😻😻

Lauren was once again a perfect sitter for our senior cat! Loved the photos every day and she is always well taken care of. When we were supposed to have winter weather, Lauren also asked what she could do and made sure our thermostat was at a certain temperature as not to have any issues. We are moving out of the area and I know my cat will miss her vacation times with Lauren! Thank you for everything!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
