About: I have had a dog growing up ever since I was a little girl. I have always puppy sat for past neighbors and family members and treat them as my own! I love dogs, always have and now have my own Bernese mountain dog and chocolate lab! Very available and flexible with time to help care for your fur babies! I can provide as many potty breaks as needed- also have a dog park within our apartment neighborhood! About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life 🐾 For nearly 20 years, that love has shaped both my personal life and my work in animal welfare along with nonprofit work. I have a background in animal behavior, shelter medicine, dog training, and I’m Fear Free certified. I understand how important it is to feel completely comfortable with who you trust your pet with, and I would love to start with a meet & greet to ensure both you and your pet feel comfortable with me and that we are a good fit! I only take one client at a time in my home. My golden retriever and I volunteer with a local K9 search and rescue team and specialize in rescuing missing persons. Outside of that, my dogs are my adventure partners. We love hiking, camping, traveling and being outside whenever we can. During the week (Tues - Thurs), I work outside of the home, but I have a flexible schedule and will come home for midday care. My own pets are never left longer than 5 - 7 hours. I have a fully fenced in yard, and out on walks, I will use a secure harness lead for added safety unless you prefer otherwise.
