About: Hi, I’m VJ. I work from home most of the time, so your dog will have plenty of company, attention, and supervision throughout the day. I have two dogs of my own: a 6-year-old female Bernese Mountain Dog and a medium male Goldendoodle. Both are gentle, submissive, and friendly with other dogs. My Bernese especially has a sweet “mama bear” personality and is very nurturing around other pets. My home is calm, dog-friendly, and comfortable. Pets are allowed on the furniture, and I want visiting dogs to feel safe, relaxed, and part of the family while they are here. I live in a quiet neighborhood with very little road noise, and there is a large community park close by where I can take dogs for walks, fresh air, and playtime based on their comfort level and your instructions. I’m best suited for dogs who are potty trained, friendly with other dogs, and not destructive in the home. I like to keep a peaceful environment, so I always prefer a meet-and-greet first to make sure your dog feels comfortable with me, my dogs, and the space. About: In addition to growing up with both dogs and cats of my own, I have been caring for pets through Rover for nearly 8 years now and I know exactly how much work goes into taking care of man's best friend! Whether you have an energetic puppy, a special needs senior, or family felines, I am here to help! I'm WFH full-time and am able to offer boarding and doggy daycare for small breeds only (under 15lbs due to weight restrictions at my apartment, house-trained, and not prone to loud barking or urine marking), but since I have two cats with limited space, I require a meet and greet in my home prior to booking. While I do offer house sitting and drop-in visits, I have a diabetic cat that requires insulin injections 8am & 8pm which does mean I have to stay pretty local for overnight & prefer no more than 5 nights (also if you have a diabetic cat too, I got you!). House sitting rates includes staying in your home around the clock, aside from my twice a day trips home and any errands or other drop-ins I might have. If 30-60 min drop ins are too short for your fur baby's needs, please select house sitting option and I will work with you to stay in the home as much as you need even if overnights aren't necessary :) When first meeting clients I like to do a thorough walk-through of everything there is to know about their pup's feeding and walking schedule as well as about the home (alarms, spare keys, guest room etc.) that way I have less questions for the owner while they are away and can confidently jump into the dog's regular routine without any hiccups.
About: I grew up with a large golden retriever and small mixed terrier for 10+ years until I went to college. I have just graduated college. I am not able to get a pet of my own yet, but I would love to help you with yours. I LOVE dogs. I have a huge heart and lots of patience for any breed. I am already a very active person who goes outside to run or walk every day, so adding in your dog is perfect and enjoyable for both of us! I typically go for a run/workout for about 2 hours in the morning in the summers, but am free to be with your dog the rest of the day (Updated: May/June 2026) Located in New Albany/Westerville area. While I live in an apartment, we have 2 dog parks, lots of open grass, and I am always looking for an excuse to go to the 6 minute drive park with a dog walking trail near me or one near you. Your pet would love it! I am willing to do a meet & greet ahead of time. For safety reasons, I am only willing to care for 1 dog (or 2 from the same family) at a time. No matter the breed, size, age, color, I will spoil and love your dog to my fullest potential. I’m always trying to find new ways to entertain dogs wether it’s by walking, playing with a garden hose, zoomies in the backyard, whatever I can do to make sure your dog is having the time of their life while you’re away. I work from home so I am home all day during the week! I do run errands during the week but am only gone for an hour or so at a time. While I work from home, I will mainly be in my office space but will always be checking in on your doggo. I hope they would be comfortable enough to join me in my office while I work! I have a fully fenced in backyard and live in a quiet neighborhood for peaceful walks. If your dog requires or is more comfortable in a crate, I can comfortably fit one in my home as well.
