“Alyssa was very responsive, sent lots of pictures/updates and Tucker is nice and tired after a full day of playing! Thank you for taking great care of our little guy!”

“What a fabulous experience with Zach! He spent time with our virtual meet and greet making minor adjustments to assure Coleman’s safety and my comfort. He understands how much pets mean as family members and works hard to accommodate. His place is set up to care for pups in separate areas if necessary. Lots of photos and video throughout the stay. I highly recommend him.”

“Wonderful experience! My dog, Izzy, loved staying with Will and Bibiana. She enjoyed spending time with the other dogs and was taken care of very well.”

About: Hi there! I’m Awia, and I’ve had around 25 years of experience caring for animals. I’ve shared my life with many wonderful dogs and cats, and I currently have a sweet Pekingese named Peking along with two cats, Lolli and Ashley. They’re all friendly, gentle, and used to having new furry friends around. I’ve also volunteered walking dogs at various animal shelters over the years—animals have always been a huge part of my life. I also have six wonderful children who absolutely adore animals. They’re gentle, respectful, and regularly nominated for Kindness Awards at their school. Your pet will receive extra love, attention, and cuddle sessions from them—helping your furry family member feel right at home. I’m currently working on my nonprofit organization, and during my downtime I’ve chosen to walk dogs and care for animals. It’s such a fun and rewarding way to spend the day—you get to hang out with adorable pups, enjoy some exercise, and soak up the sunshine. I provide a safe, clean, and loving environment for your pets. While I don’t have a fenced-in yard, I’m fortunate to live within a beautiful nature preserve and park system. This means your pup can enjoy walks along scenic, well-maintained paths with plenty of fresh air and minimal street traffic. If boarding, I’ll make sure your dog gets regular, safe walks and plenty of attention, ensuring they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for. All of my personal pets—Peking, Lolli, and Ashley—are up to date on vaccinations, and are on flea and heartworm prevention medication. For the safety and comfort of all animals, I kindly ask that visiting pets are also clean and flea-free. If a pet arrives needing a bath, I’m happy to provide one, and a pet bath fee will be added to your booking. This ensures a fresh, healthy, and pleasant environment for everyone.

With my fur baby your baby will have a good game time! I work from home so I will have plenty of time to attend to your fur baby needs. I am available for booking on weekdays and weekends at any time I have a patio with a roof where they can play all day and spend their energy, I also have everything your baby needs like food and water bolw, bed and a cage if need it
“We needed a last minute sitter and kayleigh immediately responded and helped us out! She kept in contact and sent pictures of our very happy puppy throughout the day! Will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Fran’s ears go up followed by a cute little head tilt whenever I mention that it’s “time to go see Mrs. Laken” 😀 I can tell she really loves her days there and getting to hangout with Remy and Mouse, other pet friends and of course Bostynn ☺️ because she starts to get so excited as soon as we turn onto the street. I appreciate all of the cuddles and love my girl receives. Thank you from me and Nanny Fran.”

About: I provide a level of care that goes beyond basic sitting or walking—I focus on understanding each dog’s unique personality, needs, and routines so they feel safe, confident, and genuinely cared for. With hands‑on experience in both puppy training and senior dog support, I’m able to tailor my approach to dogs at every life stage. For puppies, I reinforce positive habits like leash manners, crate comfort, and consistent routines to help them grow into well‑behaved, happy companions. For senior dogs, I offer patient, gentle care that respects their pace, mobility, and comfort, including medication reminders and slow, supportive walks. I’m attentive, reliable, and detail‑oriented—always keeping communication open with updates, photos, and notes so you feel connected to your dog’s day. Whether your pup needs structured activity, calm companionship, or specialized attention, I bring a thoughtful, compassionate approach that makes every visit feel personal. Your pet will be treated like a member of the family. P.S. A bit about me...College educated mom continuing to follow her dream of caring for animals in a loving and fun way. FYI, Rover takes 20% off the top of my rates for their services, this does not factor in income taxes yet. I’ve tried to be reasonable in my pricing. Taking care of your pet, requires my full time and attention. I am available daily from 9-8 PM for walks/drop ins and overnight stays most days of the week. I am willing to arrange a weekly set schedule to care for your pet for your convenience. Your pet deserves my undivided attention. I will not house sit more than your dog at a time. I will be sure to respect your home; leave it in the order I found it while caring for your animal.
“Bill and Mary are a great team that took care of our pup and showed him lots of love. We appreciated a "meet and greet" with their dogs and ours to ensure they got along okay. Our pup was able to play very well with their three dogs. From the way he came home tired, he had an awesome time playing with Bill, Mary and the other dogs.”

We will provide a loving environment and treat you like one of our pack. We will spoil you with lots of kisses and cuddling. Our home is fully fenced and dog friendly. I am an animal lover and have had dogs in my life consistently for the last 30 years. About this sitter: Hi, I am Hillary. I have been an animal lover all of my life. I will provide a safe, comfortable, and loving home for your pup's stay. I provide a New Client Packet at the Meet & Greet or via email prior to your stay. The packet includes an information form to fill out so I get to know your dog better so I can provide a comfortable stay. I keep a file on each dog I care for which includes these filled our forms, vaccination copies, and important information. Why I love dog sitting While raised with cats, I have been a dog lover ever since I was a little girl. I have had dogs consistently for the last 37 years and have raised all from puppies. My dogs are my children. About my yard I have a large back yard that is fully fenced, secure, and pet friendly. My experience administering medication Yes, I have administered pills, eye drops, and shots to dogs and cats in the past as well as general first aid. I have taken pet CPR. I work from home most of the time but do have events here and there. If I ever have to leave house for more than a couple hours, I have a friend or family member who checks on pups and will let them out to potty and play. My home has a large yard and is fully fenced and pet friendly. I have five small dogs to keep your pup company. Outdoor time is always supervised.
About: As a dog walker, my experience as a dog owner sets me apart. I understand dog behavior and needs, ensuring safe and enjoyable walks. I'm reliable, responsible, and passionate about providing the best care for your furry friend Since I have a lot of availability, I can easily work around your schedule. Whether you need a last-minute walk or a longer session, I'm here to help! I take them on 3-4 walks a day feed twice a day and ofc play with them. I would love to help watch dogs. And walk them.
About: In addition to growing up with both dogs and cats of my own, I have been caring for pets through Rover for nearly 8 years now and I know exactly how much work goes into taking care of man's best friend! Whether you have an energetic puppy, a special needs senior, or family felines, I am here to help! I'm WFH full-time and am able to offer boarding and doggy daycare for small breeds only (under 15lbs due to weight restrictions at my apartment, house-trained, and not prone to loud barking or urine marking), but since I have two cats with limited space, I require a meet and greet in my home prior to booking. While I do offer house sitting and drop-in visits, I have a diabetic cat that requires insulin injections 8am & 8pm which does mean I have to stay pretty local for overnight & prefer no more than 5 nights (also if you have a diabetic cat too, I got you!). House sitting rates includes staying in your home around the clock, aside from my twice a day trips home and any errands or other drop-ins I might have. If 30-60 min drop ins are too short for your fur baby's needs, please select house sitting option and I will work with you to stay in the home as much as you need even if overnights aren't necessary :) When first meeting clients I like to do a thorough walk-through of everything there is to know about their pup's feeding and walking schedule as well as about the home (alarms, spare keys, guest room etc.) that way I have less questions for the owner while they are away and can confidently jump into the dog's regular routine without any hiccups.
“Shanelle is fantastic in every way! My dog Luna gets the best playtime and care! Shanelle and her dog Ray are amazing. We are so lucky we found them!”

About: Hi! You can call me Rose (: I’m that person who lights up whenever a dog walks into a room. More than likely, I will pet or talk to your dog before I start a conversation with you...I’ve always had dogs in my household growing up. I’ve volunteered at an animal rescue for 4 years which sparked my love for dogs. I have also fostered a few dogs during COVID. No matter the breed, size, age, color, I will spoil and love your dog to my fullest potential. I’m always trying to find new ways to entertain dogs wether it’s by walking, playing with a garden hose, zoomies in the backyard, whatever I can do to make sure your dog is having the time of their life while you’re away. I work from home so I am home all day during the week! Your fur baby is more than welcome to stay during the day while you’re at work or I am available to come over to give them love and attention during the day! While I work from home, I will mainly be in my office space but will always be checking in on your fur baby. I hope they would be comfortable enough to join me in my office while I work! I have a fully fenced in backyard and live in a quiet neighborhood for peaceful walks. If your fur baby requires or is more comfortable in a crate, I can comfortably fit one in my home as well.
About: I've taken care of pets almost all of my life! I grew up with 3 cats that I adored. Before we had our 3 boys, we got a Beagle named Pippin who lived with us for 14 years. For the last 5 years our family has hosted many dogs here in our home and enjoy the energy and life they bring! I currently work part-time and my husband works from home so we are very flexible and available. I love taking walks and enjoy when I can bring a furry friend along! I also love sitting on my deck swing with the pups and watching people and animals in my yard and on the bike path. We have a huge backyard that backs up to a bike path which we use frequently. We have 3 teenage boys who love playing with dogs! We also live in a very safe neighborhood that is dog friendly and right by a park.
“Rommel can be pretty shy around new folks so I am always nervous about introducing him to new people. He also isn’t a very affectionate dog (he only likes being petted when he first wakes up, then he has has enough and doesn’t really want that). When I went to pick him up he was loving all over them. I haven’t seen him warm up to anyone as quickly and as completely as he did here. What a wonderful experience!”

“Extremely reliable & so attentive to the needs of my dog and accommodating our busy life!! I’m endlessly grateful for her and her adorable daughter. They’re our number one go to for dog care in Ohio!!”

“We were so glad that our little Millie was able to stay with Andrea and new friends: Lola and Cooper. She had some outdoor play time in the fenced yard and so much exercise and fun! (We saw some great pictures and video). Thank you so much Andrea! We will definitely be scheduling another play date soon!”

Harlem dog parents share their Rover experiences
Booked a daycare visit for our pup and Samantha was great. Our pup was very cautious to be left w/o us for the first time, but Samantha was amazing keeping us in the loop with the progress as she got acquainted. I appreciate the honest updates and the kind patience she had with our girl. Will definitely book again as times arrive we need a kind and patient sitter. Thank you Samantha!
