They would be locked in a kennel all day and we would literally have to pay extra for belly rubs or time out of the kennel. I usually feel uneasy the whole trip but not this time. I have a lot of experience working with horses, and bunnies as well as dogs. About: I’ve cared for my Standard Poodle since 2018 and pet sat a senior Yorkshire Terrier for over a week for a local family. I am open to walking, feeding, maintaining medication schedules, and home pet sitting! I work between 10am-4pm, so I have plenty of time to walk, play, and feed your pet around those hours. I am available to walk and/or pet sit at your home any day, just reach out! I will treat your pet as my own and follow your care instructions to the best of my ability. I am comfortable with free roaming or crated pets at night, and I believe in building in daily time for structured and unstructured play. “We’ve never left our dog with anyone outside the family, but I’m pretty convinced that Ellie felt like Rachel and Jeff WERE family after a week there. There are no words for how grateful we are for their excellent care! She was happy, comfortable, and loved on (I know from the pictures!), and I’m not sure she actually wanted to come back home! I sort of hate to so highly recommend Rachel and Jeff in case they get too booked up to watch Ellie again, but it’s a risk I’m willing to take. We drove more than an hour to them, and after this experience, I’d have driven six. They were wonderful with Ellie but even more lovely as people. I wish I could give more than five stars, because they deserve it!”

I’ll provide your pet with attentive, personalized care and a comfortable, welcoming stay while you’re away. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for—and to give you peace of mind until you’re back together. I'm currently working from home with a lot of flexibility to walk or plays with your pet. I am currently available around the clock to board. I have a fenced in yard, and would also be able to take dogs outside on a leash with full supervision. I am open to board at my house, or house sit if preferred.
