“Our chocolate lab had a wonderful time with Emily! They sent pictures often and she always looked loved and that she was having a great time. She gave us great peace of mind and would definitely not hesitate to use her again!!”

“Leslie was very informative and understanding of my ball of energy. Sadie was very comfortable during her stay. I would definitely recommend her for anyone that is nervous about boarding their pet for the first time.”

“My miniature Goldendoodle was in great spirits after her 7-day stay. I got plenty of updates. No issues were noted with her care. I would highly recommend them to anyone!”

“Our sweet boy, Franns, loves Sally so much! We cannot say her name unless it means we are headed to the car to take him to see her. It is obvious that Sally cares for Franns the same, as well. When we leave Franns in Sally's care, I have never once had to worry about his well-being, and that is a comfort I will never take for granted. We love Sally, for loving our big boy so well.”

“Lauren was great! Libby felt right at home and settled in really quickly. The huge fenced in back yard was definitely a plus and libby loved hanging out back there. We really appreciated how communicative and responsive Lauren was and we will definitely be using her again in the future!”

“John and Shannon were wonderful with our dog Oslo. You can tell this family really loves dogs. We got sweet updates throughout our trip. Oslo was happy to see us at the end but we think he would have been happy to stay with his new family - ha! I was particularly struck by their flexibility and resourcefulness when our flight was canceled coming home from our trip. They were gracious, flexible and communicative.”

“Lauren is absolutely WONDERFUL! She took great care of our Cleo. We loved the updates and photos. Clearly, Cleo had a blast. This was our family's first time using Rover. Lauren made the process delightful and easy. I highly recommend her.”

“Taylor was absolutely amazing with Osa, I went from feeling scared of leaving Osa to feeling comfortable Osa was taken care of. Her response time was almost instant for the entirety of Osa's stay, and she was so flexible when I needed to add pick up and drop off for unexpected events! Taylor, thank you so much for making this one less thing for me to worry about during my travel!”

“From the time we dropped off our pup, we shown that she would be in great care. Gary and Heather provided consistent updates and photos as promised. We were told that our pup would be “cared for like one of our own” and our experience proved that. They took our pup to the dog park and the dog beach. As a high energy pup, we could tell she was thoroughly engaged judging by how tired she was when she returned home. We would highly recommend Gary and Heather to give you a peace of mind and your pup a loving home away from home.”

“Joe is our regular sitter for our senior dog when we go out of town. Leaving our dog shamu used to be stressful because of his separation anxiety, but Joe and him have formed a bond and now traveling is stress free for both shammy and us. He enjoys his stays with Joe and Duke so it is like he is getting a vacation too!”

“This was our first time leaving our puppy and Loni was amazing! She sent frequent messages and pictures to let us know she was adjusting well. We will definitely use Loni again!!”

“Abby was AMAZING! I was really anxious leaving Marla with new people for our longest time apart (10 days) but the entire experience was wonderful. I got regular pupdates and it was such a relief to know Marla was in such good hands. Marla has such a good time she didn’t want to come home!”

“I had the good fortune of finding Deanna! She has established a safe and dog friendly haven that caters to the enjoyment of many breeds. Deanna goes above and beyond to understand the preferences and needs of your fur baby, ensuring a caring experience. I not only recommend but will use her services again.”

“Megan and Jay took wonderful care of Loki! He clearly had a great time with plenty of walks and lots of backyard play. They kept me updated with great communication and photos, which I really appreciated. I would absolutely recommend them and will definitely book with them again. Thank you!”

“This was our first time to use Rover. Lilliana took an amazing care of our new rescue dog Bodie.. from the moment we got there for the meet and greet I could tell that this was a good choice. even after being there a few hours, she sent a video and pictures of him so we knew he was in good hands. We will definitely be coming back in the future! Highly Recommend her!”

“Andrew and his family took great care of Luna. She seems to have settled in quickly with his family of people and pups and came home happy. Would absolutely book with him again.”

“Alex was the first host I used on Rover. I was a bit worried about using this app, but Alex made my first experience amazing! She is so friendly and truly has a heart for animals. I have already booked with her a few times since and my doggo loves to stay with her. She is very flexible and has even dropped my dog back off to me. I can’t recommend her enough! Thank you Alex for taking such good care of Amani!”

“Kirsten and Nicolas were great! They sent pics during the whole stay and were very communicative. They also have a fenced in back yard that they let the dogs run around in. They updated us when the pups appetites were low, which I really appreciated. Both of our dogs tend to be anxious without us because they aren’t used to used to being alone, so it was also a big plus that they work from home. In the past we have had to send our pups to kennels because we don’t have friends or family near by who can watch them. They would be locked in a kennel all day and we would literally have to pay extra for belly rubs or time out of the kennel. I usually feel uneasy the whole trip but not this time. I could tell they were well taken care of and treated like one of their own. Thank you so much Kirsten and Nicolas!”

“Amy was able to sit for my dog Ivy for four days on very short notice. She was very accommodating and really want the extra mile to work with me on schedule. She has a lovely home with a nice fenced backyard for your pup. Her fur baby Roxy is such a sweetheart and immediately was friendly with my 100 pound dog. Amy was amazing at sending me updates and pictures during Ivy’s stay. I would 100% use her again in the future!”

About: I have grown up around cats for my whole life, currently having three sweet babies at home. I’ve worked at a pet store for multiple years, and have a passion for pet care. If you ever have questions about nutrition I’m the one to call!

“Marilyn did drop-in visits for my senior kitty while I was out of town for a wedding, and she did a great job! My cat is like 100yrs old, lol, so she has some health problems and requires oral medications. Have you ever given a stubborn, geriatric cat pills? It's not easy, but Marlyn got it done! She also asked a lot of questions during our meet and greet and was very thorough in wanting to know everything possible about how to take care of my cat. Marlyn is kind, caring, and follows directions well. I appreciate all that she did, and I would have her back anytime.”

“Sam was absolutely fantastic! She was good with communication, and giving my cat the love he needed while I was gone. I will very much use her services again in the future and highly suggest her if you need help.”

“Natalia was amazing!! Made sure our kitty was well taken care of for a 7 day trip. We will 100% be requesting Natalia again for future pet care. She had GREAT communication the whole time we were gone, made sure our cat had all her treats and litter clean, even went out of her way to vacuum or take any trash out! About: Hi there! I’m Awia, and I’ve had around 25 years of experience caring for animals. I’ve shared my life with many wonderful dogs and cats, and I currently have a sweet Pekingese named Peking along with two cats, Lolli and Ashley. They’re all friendly, gentle, and used to having new furry friends around. I’ve also volunteered walking dogs at various animal shelters over the years—animals have always been a huge part of my life. I also have six wonderful children who absolutely adore animals. They’re gentle, respectful, and regularly nominated for Kindness Awards at their school. Your pet will receive extra love, attention, and cuddle sessions from them—helping your furry family member feel right at home. I’m currently working on my nonprofit organization, and during my downtime I’ve chosen to walk dogs and care for animals. It’s such a fun and rewarding way to spend the day—you get to hang out with adorable pups, enjoy some exercise, and soak up the sunshine. I provide a safe, clean, and loving environment for your pets. While I don’t have a fenced-in yard, I’m fortunate to live within a beautiful nature preserve and park system. This means your pup can enjoy walks along scenic, well-maintained paths with plenty of fresh air and minimal street traffic. If boarding, I’ll make sure your dog gets regular, safe walks and plenty of attention, ensuring they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for. All of my personal pets—Peking, Lolli, and Ashley—are up to date on vaccinations, and are on flea and heartworm prevention medication. For the safety and comfort of all animals, I kindly ask that visiting pets are also clean and flea-free. If a pet arrives needing a bath, I’m happy to provide one, and a pet bath fee will be added to your booking. This ensures a fresh, healthy, and pleasant environment for everyone.
“Alyssa was very responsive, sent lots of pictures/updates and Tucker is nice and tired after a full day of playing! Thank you for taking great care of our little guy!”

“Will and Bibiana are the best. They have treated my puppy Nella like their own. They have helped Nella and I beyond what I could have hoped. Would recommend to anyone for the best care! Thank you guys so much for all the help!!”

“Our dog can be nervous around new people, but Laken got down on the floor with her and snuggled to make her comfortable. She had her two small dogs who played well with ours. She has a fenced yard and our dog enjoyed running around. We felt like she received good care and looked very comfortable when we picked her up.”

About: I feel that they have such a beautiful and special connection with their owners, which for me is something wonderful and I know how difficult it is to leave it with someone else, but with me your pets will be in good hands. With my fur baby your baby will have a good game time! I work from home so I will have plenty of time to attend to your fur baby needs. I am available for booking on weekdays and weekends at any time I have a patio with a roof where they can play all day and spend their energy, I also have everything your baby needs like food and water bolw, bed and a cage if need it
“Clark had the best the day with Sally! I am so happy I am able to leave my boy with her. She clearly made him feel right at home as he went right to play. What I love the most is that the safety I feel she is giving him and the comfort of his own home. She is offering her place so your dog still feels at home while they are away, and that feels really special. It takes a good person to be able to pull that off.”

“Zach is so patient, calm, caring, consistent, and loving with our puppy as though he were part of his own family. I am more than comfortable and confident leaving him for a day with Zach and his pack!”

About: Hi, I’m VJ. I work from home most of the time, so your dog will have plenty of company, attention, and supervision throughout the day. I have two dogs of my own: a 6-year-old female Bernese Mountain Dog and a medium male Goldendoodle. Both are gentle, submissive, and friendly with other dogs. My Bernese especially has a sweet “mama bear” personality and is very nurturing around other pets. My home is calm, dog-friendly, and comfortable. Pets are allowed on the furniture, and I want visiting dogs to feel safe, relaxed, and part of the family while they are here. I live in a quiet neighborhood with very little road noise, and there is a large community park close by where I can take dogs for walks, fresh air, and playtime based on their comfort level and your instructions. I’m best suited for dogs who are potty trained, friendly with other dogs, and not destructive in the home. I like to keep a peaceful environment, so I always prefer a meet-and-greet first to make sure your dog feels comfortable with me, my dogs, and the space. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. I will follow your dog’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and any house rules you share. I’m also happy to send regular photo and message updates so you feel connected while you are away. Your dog will be treated with patience, affection, and respect in a safe home environment. I work from home most of the time, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m home throughout the day for potty breaks, feeding, playtime, walks, and supervision. I can give dogs plenty of attention and keep their routine as close as possible to what they are used to at home. Your dog will be cared for like part of the family in a calm, dog-friendly home. I have two sweet, submissive dogs who are used to being around other pets. My Bernese has a gentle “mama bear” personality, and my Goldendoodle loves to play fetch. I have an invisible fence for my own dogs, but I do not rely on it for visiting pets. Guest dogs are supervised outdoors and taken out on leash unless we discuss and agree on a safe routine together. I always prefer a meet-and-greet first to make sure everyone feels comfortable and safe. I also like to follow each dog’s normal feeding, potty, walk, playtime, and sleep routine as closely as possible so they feel relaxed and cared for while you are away.
About: Hi! You can call me Rose (: I’m that person who lights up whenever a dog walks into a room. More than likely, I will pet or talk to your dog before I start a conversation with you...I’ve always had dogs in my household growing up. I’ve volunteered at an animal rescue for 4 years which sparked my love for dogs. I have also fostered a few dogs during COVID. No matter the breed, size, age, color, I will spoil and love your dog to my fullest potential. I’m always trying to find new ways to entertain dogs wether it’s by walking, playing with a garden hose, zoomies in the backyard, whatever I can do to make sure your dog is having the time of their life while you’re away. I work from home so I am home all day during the week! I do run errands during the week but am only gone for an hour or so at a time. While I work from home, I will mainly be in my office space but will always be checking in on your doggo. I hope they would be comfortable enough to join me in my office while I work! I have a fully fenced in backyard and live in a quiet neighborhood for peaceful walks. If your dog requires or is more comfortable in a crate, I can comfortably fit one in my home as well.
“Katherine took great care of my pup. She took her on a long walk and even to a stream. I really appreciate the attention and care she provided. Thank you, Katherine!”

About: I have had a dog growing up ever since I was a little girl. I have always puppy sat for past neighbors and family members and treat them as my own! I love dogs, always have and now have my own Bernese mountain dog and chocolate lab! Very available and flexible with time to help care for your fur babies! I can provide as many potty breaks as needed- also have a dog park within our apartment neighborhood! As always I will treat any home I enter with the greatest respect and caution and will welcome mine to any dog I dog sit!
About: In addition to growing up with both dogs and cats of my own, I have been caring for pets through Rover for nearly 8 years now and I know exactly how much work goes into taking care of man's best friend! Whether you have an energetic puppy, a special needs senior, or family felines, I am here to help! I'm WFH full-time and am able to offer boarding and doggy daycare for small breeds only (under 15lbs due to weight restrictions at my apartment, house-trained, and not prone to loud barking or urine marking), but since I have two cats with limited space, I require a meet and greet in my home prior to booking. While I do offer house sitting and drop-in visits, I have a diabetic cat that requires insulin injections 8am & 8pm which does mean I have to stay pretty local for overnight & prefer no more than 5 nights (also if you have a diabetic cat too, I got you!). House sitting rates includes staying in your home around the clock, aside from my twice a day trips home and any errands or other drop-ins I might have. If 30-60 min drop ins are too short for your fur baby's needs, please select house sitting option and I will work with you to stay in the home as much as you need even if overnights aren't necessary :) When first meeting clients I like to do a thorough walk-through of everything there is to know about their pup's feeding and walking schedule as well as about the home (alarms, spare keys, guest room etc.) that way I have less questions for the owner while they are away and can confidently jump into the dog's regular routine without any hiccups.
About: I've taken care of dogs since I was in my 20s. My life has revolved around caring for my own dogs. I have one senior dog & he'd like to make new friends. I work full time from home. I lost my female in February. I have a senior lab mix who would like company & i would like more interaction with dogs. My husband works part time from home. We have a nice yard for play time. I have a senior lab mix & he was trained on an underground fence . The yard is partially fenced in. It's a great space for play time
“Bill and Mary are a great team that took care of our pup and showed him lots of love. We appreciated a "meet and greet" with their dogs and ours to ensure they got along okay. Our pup was able to play very well with their three dogs. From the way he came home tired, he had an awesome time playing with Bill, Mary and the other dogs.”
About: I’ve had the pleasure of caring for dogs, cats, and both small and large farm animals my entire life, and I’ve been fortunate to work in the veterinary field as a veterinary technician/assistant for over 20 years. Throughout my career, I’ve gained extensive experience, including skills like inserting IVs, setting up fluid pumps, and administering subcutaneous, oral, and intramuscular medications in both hospital and home settings. I’ve assisted in numerous routine and emergency surgeries and procedures, providing care for animals with a wide variety of ailments. Some of the conditions include caring for diabetics, seizures, kidney disease, liver disease, URis, UTis, hyperthyroidism, ocular issues, skin issues/allergies, foreign body surgeries, fractures, ACL surgeries, obstructions, and poisonings. I love walking and caring for animals weather that mean playing with them or spoon feeding them back to health. Additionally I have also had the privilege of caring for a wide range of animals, from large and small farm animals to dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes—from energetic puppies to loving senior dogs. I've also cared for both senior cats and playful kittens, gaining valuable experience with each stage of life Please let me know what you need, and I will do everything I can to ensure your pet feels loved, comfortable, and well cared for while you are away. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration! Hi there! I’m currently a stay-at-home mom with a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate time to taking care of your furry family members. Alongside helping care for a disabled family member, I have a deep love for animals of all kinds, from dogs and cats to chickens and even monkeys! Trust your family members will get plenty of play, love, and affection while you are away. I have a corner lot big fenced in back yard with plenty of place to run and play! I love playing fetch or going on walks and can provide most anything your dog or cat is used to! Just let me know what I can do to make your pet feel the most comfortable and cared for in your absence! I would be more than happy to help!
“Extremely reliable & so attentive to the needs of my dog and accommodating our busy life!! I’m endlessly grateful for her and her adorable daughter. They’re our number one go to for dog care in Ohio!!”

“Easy and flexible to work with, and my pup had a great stay! Fenced area is not big enough for my greyhound to run but received multiple walks throughout the day instead. Loved all the pics and updates!”

“Elizabeth is a wonderful pet sitter...the other day storms came in suddenly and she provided his medication in a correct timely caring way. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER to be trusted in all situations with your fur babies.”

About: I grew up with a dog my age so I not only had experience with him as a puppy while I was young but taking care of him as an older dog while we grew up. As I have been an adult I have taken on the role for many family members and friends of pet sitter. I often care for multiple dogs and cats in their own home and I love it! Ive trained and cared for pets of all kinds and I hope to never stop! I'm currently an ASL interpreting student entering my sophomore year of college. I have school on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8-4, and I spend the rest of my time studying at home, and going hiking/walking with my dog! I have grown up with many different dogs, so I have lots of pet experience. I can care for puppies and elderly dogs, enthusiastic and shy dogs, and all kinds of cats! I am also technologically skilled, a good troubleshooter, and know how to take care of a house in general.

“Fantastic service with dog walking. Communication was clear and timely. She really helped us out with a short notice request. So helpful & we truly appreciate it. We would recommend her for any dog walking services. Thank you. :) Our dog Thanks you too 🐾”

About: I have taken care of animals ever since I was little. We used to have a golden retriever and I had a lot of responsibility for him. We now have several cats who are all very needy. I always make sure they are taken care of. Additionally, I love taking care of my brothers dogs, which are the dogs in the pictures above. I am currently working part time, so my schedule can change from week to week. If I am working I can take breaks and provide potty breaks. I will use all available resources to make sure your pet is as comfortable and cared for as possible. I am very good at understanding what they want/need by their actions.

About: ✨ Meet & greets available for new clients ✨ Detailed updates with photos & videos ✨ Plenty of playtime, cuddles, and personalized care ✨ 5 years of nursing experience + a lifetime of caring for dogs Hi! I’m Gabriella 🤍 Your dog’s new favorite sitter (and hopefully a new bestie for them). I’ve been a registered nurse for the past five years, and caring for others has always been at the heart of who I am. That same patience, attentiveness, and compassion carries over into how I care for every pet I meet. Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a home with at least three dogs at all times—from gentle Newfoundlands and playful Yorkies to Mastiffs, Golden Retrievers, Poodles, and many more. I’ve helped train many of our family dogs using a variety of training methods and have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Since moving to Columbus a few years ago and getting married, we haven’t welcomed a dog of our own just yet—which means I have plenty of love and attention to give yours! Whether your pup is energetic, shy, anxious, goofy, or a senior who just wants a calm companion, I take the time to get to know them and help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I also have experience with house sitting, boarding, walks, feeding, medication administration, and caring for pets with different routines and needs. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family member, so I’ll always treat your dog like they’re one of my own. My goal is simple: for you to enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy, safe, loved, and in caring hands. You’ll always receive consistent communication, adorable photos, and honest updates, so you never have to wonder how your best friend is doing. I can’t wait to meet you and your pup! 🐾🤍 I’m currently working 32 hours a week. I’m free on Wednesday’s completely. I have evenings available (except Thursday) and I’m available on weekends. Times gone: Monday 10-6 (work) Tuesday 8:30-4 (work Thursday 8:30-4 (work) Friday 8:00-4 (work) Sunday 10-12 (church) I will treat your pup just like my own! The more information you give me about them, the better! This way I can make sure i’m doing things/caring for them in a way that is the most familiar for them. You can expect quite a few photos of your pup when they are in my care, and quick communication from me as well. I’d love to walk your pup, however long they’re comfortable. Dogs when over our house can roam around wherever while we’re present. I have a guest room to keep them in, if I were not to be home. I can also crate them, as long as that’s provided with them! They are free to sleep on the couch, floor, or bed. We have no pets currently living with us, it is me and my husband. I have experience training dogs in public settings and taking them out and about to pet friendly places. If your dog is already trained and well mannered in public places, I’m more than happy to take them out to places that stimulate them and are pet friendly.

About: My husband and I have been taking care of a variety of dog breeds and ages for many years. From friends, neighbors, coworkers, and even our daughters' pup. We have a fenced in yard with plenty of space for your pup to run around. We love to go on walks as well, weather permitting.
“Rachel came and met me at my house for a walkthrough. She is very sweet with my dog. She was a trooper even when my pup had an accident. Thank you Rachel and Rover for peace of mind.”

“Marlyn was great, per usual! Had gotten some surprise buckeye football tickets and needed a spur of the moment dog sitter for the day. Only one person came to mind in this panic and that was Marlyn. She has watched our sweet Stella before and did such a great job. So much so she didn’t want to come home haha. Marlyn sent pictures and kept us posted the entirety of the day which always puts us at ease. 11/10 ✊🏽”

“Awia has been the best dog walker for my dog Duke! She went above and beyond caring for him as an elderly dog and cared for him like one of her own. recommend her highly enough!”

About: I’ve spent 10+ years caring for dogs and understand the love, patience, and attention they need at every stage of life. From playtime and walks to comfort, I’ll love on your dog just like my own! I’m currently a Physical Therapy Technician and only 2 out of the 5 days a week normally are busy for me but the rest I never know what to do with. So I spend that time hanging out or just lounging with my family and my dog and I feel as though I can give that love to other fur babies I have a fenced in backyard and I also always go outside with the dog in order to make sure they do their business as well as for safety reasons in case of emergencies. My dog also stays in a leash at all times because I believe in not letting her roam too far away when on walks. I also learned her quirks so I understand when she is happy, feeling unwell, or even just uncomfortable which allows me to handle her at the best way possible so I can tend to her needs.

“Megan and Jay took wonderful care of Loki! He clearly had a great time with plenty of walks and lots of backyard play. They kept me updated with great communication and photos, which I really appreciated. I would absolutely recommend them and will definitely book with them again. Thank you!”

“My dog had a great time at Nicholas & Emily's and I appreciate receiving several pictures and updates every day of his stay. Would definitely recommend their services.”

“Elizabeth is great! My dog Calypso stayed with her for an extended weekend and Elizabeth updated me each day. Definitely will return😊Thanks again!”

“Stockton had such a great time with Maolin, and he has major separation issues. She made him feel comfortable instantly and took him on a lot of awesome adventures! Would definitely book again!”

“Wonder with our needy and at times difficult dogs. This was our first big trip leaving our 2 dogs with someone other then close friends and we were very pleased with how they were cared for.”
