I have a fully fenced in backyard and live in a quiet neighborhood for peaceful walks. If your dog requires or is more comfortable in a crate, I can comfortably fit one in my home as well.

While I do offer house sitting and drop-in visits, I have a diabetic cat that requires insulin injections 8am & 8pm which does mean I have to stay pretty local for overnight & prefer no more than 5 nights (also if you have a diabetic cat too, I got you!). House sitting rates includes staying in your home around the clock, aside from my twice a day trips home and any errands or other drop-ins I might have. If 30-60 min drop ins are too short for your fur baby's needs, please select house sitting option and I will work with you to stay in the home as much as you need even if overnights aren't necessary :) When first meeting clients I like to do a thorough walk-through of everything there is to know about their pup's feeding and walking schedule as well as about the home (alarms, spare keys, guest room etc.) that way I have less questions for the owner while they are away and can confidently jump into the dog's regular routine without any hiccups.

About: My 14yo Dachshund-mix has been in my family since her puppy years, and in her old age I wanted to maximize her health-span/quality of life. I am comfortable with free roaming or crated pets at night, and I believe in building in daily time for structured and unstructured play. This includes going on leashed walks around the neighborhood or nature hike paths, and playing games such as fetch the ball, pet puzzles, and other toys. We will create a care plan together and I will send updates with photos throughout the day.
