“Rommel can be pretty shy around new folks so I am always nervous about introducing him to new people. He also isn’t a very affectionate dog (he only likes being petted when he first wakes up, then he has has enough and doesn’t really want that). When I went to pick him up he was loving all over them. I haven’t seen him warm up to anyone as quickly and as completely as he did here. What a wonderful experience!”

I am currently working from home, full time, and will be able to provide your dog with the best in home care, including lots of daytime walks! About: UPDATES! Due to my Husbands career change, I will be the main person that will be caring for your animals. He will help if needed or if any dogs come to our home. My husband and I have a lifelong experience with dogs. We both grew up with dogs. I had a Golden Retriever and he had a Labrador Retriever. We have experience with all different types of pups! We are a team and work together to love and care for every dog we care for. We have dedicated ourselves to learning all about dogs, their social behaviors, and how to keep them happy and healthy. My goal is to one day become a professional dog trainer. I guarantee after a day with me and my pup your dog will be happy and tired. :) UPDATE! Our schedule has temporarily changed due to my husband getting a new job. We will still be available for boarding but drop ins and walking will have to be limited to weekday evenings and anytime during the weekend. This will be the case until summer! Someday I would love to care for dogs as my full time job but it’s going to take some time. 🥰 We have a fully fenced in yard with a privacy fence. We have a very energetic and friendly Golden Retriever to keep your dog company. We have 2 kids who are big animal lovers who will love and play with the dogs all day! I am trustworthy and will accommodate your dogs schedule and needs whether i have your dog for the day, walking them, or just dropping in to check on them.

My experience includes working three plus years as an explosive detection k9 handler and I have three plus years experience as a vet tech. I’ve shared my life with many wonderful dogs and cats, and I currently have a sweet Pekingese named Peking along with two cats, Lolli and Ashley. I’ve also volunteered walking dogs at various animal shelters over the years—animals have always been a huge part of my life. I also have six wonderful children who absolutely adore animals. They’re gentle, respectful, and regularly nominated for Kindness Awards at their school. Your pet will receive extra love, attention, and cuddle sessions from them—helping your furry family member feel right at home. I’m currently working on my nonprofit organization, and during my downtime I’ve chosen to walk dogs and care for animals. I provide a safe, clean, and loving environment for your pets. While I don’t have a fenced-in yard, I’m fortunate to live within a beautiful nature preserve and park system. If boarding, I’ll make sure your dog gets regular, safe walks and plenty of attention, ensuring they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for. All of my personal pets—Peking, Lolli, and Ashley—are up to date on vaccinations, and are on flea and heartworm prevention medication. For the safety and comfort of all animals, I kindly ask that visiting pets are also clean and flea-free. If a pet arrives needing a bath, I’m happy to provide one, and a pet bath fee will be added to your booking. This ensures a fresh, healthy, and pleasant environment for everyone.

“This was an outstanding experience and we will gladly trust our dog (Miss Maya) with Jennifer and family in the future. We booked last minute but she was quick to respond and accommodate us. Throughout her stay, we received frequent updates — a lot of pictures and videos. Jennifer watched Miss Maya for us two days in a row while work on the house was being done. In the car ride out on the second day, Miss Maya was anxious (we’d bounced around to different locations for over a week). Once we got to Jennifer’s home, however, she immediately relaxed. She trotted up to the door, tail wagging, and was clearly pleased to be back for another day. Jennifer’s children were so gentle and kind with Miss Maya. I can’t say enough good things about her.
