I tried traditional boarding facilities however they were not a good fit. There were too many loud noises and he always came home stressed and nervous. Mary provided a wonderful environment. Not only was he able to quickly adapt and feel comfortable, but he seemed to thrived there. He was running in the yard with her dog Elle. Which he has not done since we moved months ago. About: I have had dogs my whole life. I currently own a 7 year old shepherd lab mix and a rescue Yorkie mix (age unknown but at least 5 years old). I grew up with dogs and have experience with many breeds and many mixed breeds. I have experience with oral medications and special needs as well. I live on a small hobby farm and own a horse, 2 mischevious goats, a couple kitties and some chickens along with my 2 rescue dogs. He also isn’t a very affectionate dog (he only likes being petted when he first wakes up, then he has has enough and doesn’t really want that). When I went to pick him up he was loving all over them. I haven’t seen him warm up to anyone as quickly and as completely as he did here. What a wonderful experience!”

Throughout her stay, we received frequent updates — a lot of pictures and videos. Jennifer watched Miss Maya for us two days in a row while work on the house was being done. In the car ride out on the second day, Miss Maya was anxious (we’d bounced around to different locations for over a week). Once we got to Jennifer’s home, however, she immediately relaxed. I have some training in animal intuition and energy healing and I love giving Love...I live alone and am looking at getting a dog in the future but I travel a lot. Also I live in an apt and I can take most any pets except ones who bark at all as I have neighbors on both sides and dogs I. A new environment tend to bark at the strange new things often, so if they bark at all, unfortunately I cannot take them. Looking forward to meeting your baby! My apt is pretty small (400sq ft on the first floor) but any animal guest is welcome to stay wherever they want to hang out - couch or comfy carpeted upstairs floor and since I’m 6’ ft tall - Great Danes welcome! Please let me know any needs and/or special requests....so you can bet I've heard them all! I work from home so my availability is very flexible. He/she can work along side me and I take many breaks to pet and cuddle! I am only available for walks and drop-in visits Wednesday and Sunday afternoon/evenings and Friday evenings. I have a small yard that opens to woods in the back. Sometime I work outside so can stay with him/her while they are chilling outside. I can also crate them when at home or away, whatever is needed and they are used to.

About: What sets me apart from other dog sitters is the genuine love and lifelong experience I have with animals. I’ve cared for dogs my entire life, and to me, pets are family. My own dogs are truly like my children, and I treat every animal in my care with the same patience, attention, and affection I give my own. Growing up, we always had dogs in our home, and having animals as part of the family was something I always wanted to continue in my own life. Because of that, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy, dependable, and caring when leaving your pet with someone else. About: I had dogs growing up as a child and have taken care of them on and off throughout my whole life, but some specific examples of pet care include: taking care of my Grandparents 2 dogs when they no longer could, taking care of my best friends dogs (and many cats) when she goes on vacation, & of course taking care of my 2 cats that I am currently a mom of (I have had cats throughout my whole adult life). I have carpeted stairs- which is easier for older pups. I do have large crates if your pup needs to be crated (unless they are potty trained -then that would not be necessary). Dogs are allowed on my couches. I have lots of cozy blankets! It’s a quiet end of street neighborhood. Dogs are all “puppies” to me and I love them!

“Mary was amazing. My dog Thyon is a sweet but skittish boy. Since making a big move from the country to the city, he has suffered from anxiety which he needed to be medicated for. I tried traditional boarding facilities however they were not a good fit. There were too many loud noises and he always came home stressed and nervous. Mary provided a wonderful environment. Not only was he able to quickly adapt and feel comfortable, but he seemed to thrived there. He was running in the yard with her dog Elle. Which he has not done since we moved months ago.
