I will take excellent care of your pet and make sure they are happy until you return home. I retired from teaching and now want to take care of others’ pets. My schedule is very flexible, including days and weekends. I am happy to tailor my pet sitting to whatever your pet needs. About: I had dogs growing up as a child and have taken care of them on and off throughout my whole life, but some specific examples of pet care include: taking care of my Grandparents 2 dogs when they no longer could, taking care of my best friends dogs (and many cats) when she goes on vacation, & of course taking care of my 2 cats that I am currently a mom of (I have had cats throughout my whole adult life). I understand the importance of allowing animals to get comfortable with you and come to you on their own terms and not trying to force them to let you pet them or play with them. I am comfortable taking the time to slowly encourage an animal to be comfortable in my presence. I am currently working part-time while I finish my degree, so I am available fairly often to help take care of your beloved animals. I am extremely reliable and I am often available for last minute situations and happy to help. I have experience and am comfortable with dog walking, picking up waste, and crating dogs when needed. I am willing to assist with cleaning litter boxes as needed and am willing to take time to play with and give your animals attention and love while you are away from the home.

About: Am always had pups in my House. With a gentle touch and big heart I treats every furry friends like my family. Whether your pup is spending the day, sleeping over , or coming to stay with me , you family is away, my home is their home. Thank you for consideration. Recently retired, now am spending days doing what I love. I am lovingly tends to pets, play with them taking for long walks ,reliable, honest. I have fenced back yard ,2 park close by. My furry friends can sleep on the couch, or in doge beds, they can chase squirrels on back yard.

About: I have had a dog or cat, male & female, most of my life in both urban, suburban, and rural settings. Comfortable with all breeds and needs. I’m not afraid of the dirty work and am not lazy. I will accomodate your needs and follow your instructions verbatim. I will treat your pet as my own. I have a flexible schedule that varies from week to week but I know well in advance what that will be and can control it with adequate notice. I’m gainfully employed already, but recent life changes have left me with additional free time and a need for supplemental income. I truly love animals (just check my Instagram feed...) and can handle anything. I will ensure your furbaby is treated with the same care/love that you would provide he or she.

About: I'm an animal lover who's grown up with multiple family members who owned dogs and have had my own German Shepherd for years since puppyhood! Well versed in caring for, walking, and enjoying company of pets. I'm a college student currently working part-time and studying for the LSAT, so I have a fairly flexible schedule that can work well for you! My approach would be to try to provide structure to the animals while following the rules and preferences of the clients. I've found my own dog is the happiest when provided efficient stimulation, so I would want to provide that for any pets I was sitting.

About: I bring a fun, bubbly personality to every visit—but what truly sets me apart is the way I understand animal behavior. As a psychology major, I’ve trained my own dogs using positive reinforcement and classical conditioning (Pavlov’s principles), focusing on consistency, trust, and communication rather than punishment. Because of this approach, my dogs were well-mannered, confident, and happy: they never chewed household items, had house accidents, or developed anxiety-based behaviors. I believe great pet care is about more than supervision—it’s about guiding behavior with patience, encouragement, and love! I work a couple hours during the day and take care of my two kids (3 and 6) at the house. I often have online classes so there’s always something to do for me at home! My kids miss having our dog, Big Boy, around to pet and snuggle. He was 16 when he passed away.😥 We have a lot of love to give and miss having a dog! I am a non-smoker with a clean house. I have white carpet😂 but have a handy carpet cleaner in case your pet has an accident😜 I also have multiple dog leashes and couplers so can walk three dogs at a time. I have carpeted stairs- which is easier for older pups. I do have large crates if your pup needs to be crated (unless they are potty trained -then that would not be necessary). Dogs are allowed on my couches. I have lots of cozy blankets! It’s a quiet end of street neighborhood. Dogs are all “puppies” to me and I love them!

“John met us on his own time to get acquainted to the house and acclimated with the dogs. One of our dogs was very shy but John took the time and care to get her warmed up to him so she could comfortably walk with them. He's been on time every day and willing to work with our schedule even if there are last minute changes. You can tell he is doing this because he really enjoys and cares about the animals. Make sure to book him quick if he's still available!”
