I’ve had the pleasure of caring for dogs, cats, and both small and large farm animals my entire life, and I’ve been fortunate to work in the veterinary field as a veterinary technician/assistant for over 20 years. Throughout my career, I’ve gained extensive experience, including skills like inserting IVs, setting up fluid pumps, and administering subcutaneous, oral, and intramuscular medications in both hospital and home settings. I’ve assisted in numerous routine and emergency surgeries and procedures, providing care for animals with a wide variety of ailments. Some of the conditions include caring for diabetics, seizures, kidney disease, liver disease, URis, UTis, hyperthyroidism, ocular issues, skin issues/allergies, foreign body surgeries, fractures, ACL surgeries, obstructions, and poisonings. I love walking and caring for animals weather that mean playing with them or spoon feeding them back to health. Additionally I have also had the privilege of caring for a wide range of animals, from large and small farm animals to dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes—from energetic puppies to loving senior dogs.
