About: I have been a vet assistant, I’ve worked with horses, cats, dogs, birds, lizards, and snakes. I always go the extra mile and believe that pets deserve the very best. I was a vet assistant and specialized in “difficult “ pets. I will go at your pets speed, whatever helps them be more comfortable. If your pet needs more time to adjust, I will give them that. I take care of your babies as if they were mine, I will give them love and attention with boundaries. I specialize in difficult cases. If your pet needs a little extra time and attention that’s no problem.
“Aspen is just the sweetest & most caring. She communicated great and took the best photos of our pets. I honestly had no worries the entire time we were gone. I definitely will choose Aspen EVERY time!”

About: At 21, I’ve spent over seven years with my black lab, learning the ins and outs of responsible, loving pet care. For the past two years, I’ve also cared for two cavapoos, a blue healer, a German shepherd, a chihuahua, and more! Right now, my home is kid-free and pet-free, and I have a flexible work schedule. Most importantly my home is a a smoke-free environment. Plus, with a 0.7-acre yard and a dog park just 10 minutes away, we’ve got plenty of space for adventures, playtime, and exploration! I have a flexible schedule, so I'll be able to have lots of time with your pets, especially on weekends and in the evenings! I have a large fenced-in yard and live less than 10 minutes away from a dog park! I also live in a quiet neighborhood with sidewalks, so your pet will get their exercise!
“Merri was so fantastic to coordinate and communicate with, and I'm sure Yuka loved her visits because he got to go outside! Merri is trustworthy and I appreciate the effort into doing a meet and greet to familiarize herself with Yuka.”

About: I’ve been raised with animals my whole life! I have had various cats, fish, dogs and, even a hedgehog over the years. I was also responsible for walking the two family dogs. I’ve pet sat several times for family friends in the past. I love cats and dogs, (of any size) and have true compassion for any animal I meet, as if they were my own pet. Let me know if you have any questions! I work Monday-Friday, 9-5. I am flexible to stop by early mornings, after work, and on the weekends! I’m happy to work with you to determine the best schedule that fits your pets needs. If I am in your home to complete a service the utmost caution would be exercised to respect your space while caring for your furry friend!
About: I grew up in a house full of animals! I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, and fish since I was a kid. I dog-sat and cat-sat for my neighbors growing up. I also have 2 cats of my own now 🙂 I work full-time as an SLP at an elementary school. I wanted to keep doing this on the side because I love animals ☺️ I am not available weekdays until after around 4:30/5pm. I am free all day on weekends, though! I am off for summers so May 23-August 1 I am available all day! I will ensure that your pet’s harness and/or leash is secure. I will make sure to keep doors closed to ensure your pet does not get out.
About: Over the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for a variety of pets, each with their own unique needs and personalities. My pet sitting experience has not only deepened my love for animals but has also taught me the importance of patience, attention to detail, and compassion. One of my favorite experiences was caring for a senior Labrador named Max. He needed daily medication and short, gentle walks due to arthritis. I made it a point to provide extra care and comfort, ensuring he felt loved and secure while his owners were away. His wagging tail at every visit was a constant reminder of why I love this work. I’m currently working a part-time job so I have plenty of time to spend with your pups! I’m available every weekend and weekends 6am to 2pm I try my best to keep everything clean or the way that it was before and make sure that everything is safe for the pups
About: Owned dogs my whole life and have a cat of my own. Would love the chance to meet yours and give them everything they need! I am a fully remote college student. I work as a coach with very weird hours but never gone long since classes are 45 mins. I am very clean and I want your place to be the same way, if not better when I leave. I want you to not stress about a mess.
“Darren was awesome from day 1 at the meet in greet Kash took so well to him!! It’s like he found him a new best friend! Darren is very reliable and I was worry free the whole weekend knowing my Kash was in good hands with Darren. I even had to add on an additional visit and Darren was right there! We will definitely be booking Darren again I know Kash will be excited to see him again as well!!”

Melanie has helped me a few times now and has gone above and beyond for my pets. I only asked for dogs to be fed and let outside, but she cleaned up pet messes, and even scooped a litter box for me! The dogs love her and I will definitely be hiring her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
