About: I have been taking care of animals (mostly dogs) for many years. I have taken a 4 year vet program and was a certified veterinary assistant! I know basic first aid for cats and dogs. I pride myself on being a loving, reliable, and safe person for your fur babies! I am currently working a part time job but before and after my job I can happily walk and play with your animals. Wednesday’s and Saturdays I do not work so I can walk more, play more, or stay for longer periods of time/check up more frequently. I am happy to help your pets by feeding, walking, and playing with them. I can also kennel them if needed/asked. I do not feel comfortable with reactive/aggressive animals.
“Absolutely fantastic! We are very grateful to have Tamara stop by to check our cats. She has went above and beyond helping us. Highly recommend! Definitely using again this next month for our next vacation. Thanks again, Tamara.”

About: I’ve always loved animals and have had many different kinds of pets growing up. I have experience working in a pet store and extensive knowledge on dogs and cats! I have three kitties at the moment, and I spoil them rotten. I work about 30 hours a week, but my schedule does rotate and can be flexible, so I would just need a couple weeks in advance for booking. I am not able to care for pets in my home, but I would love to cuddle and play with your fur-babies at your house!
“It was our first visit from Christi and she was great with our dog. We received pictures and updates which made us feel comfortable that our dog was being well taken care of during the visit!”

About: I’ve had pets since I was 5! After college I adopted my own dog who passed away at 15. I’ve pet sit for various friends and family members and have experience with dogs 6 pounds to 80! I currently teach yoga, am in graduate school, and freelancing. My schedule is rather flexible which allows me to add this into my daily schedule. At this time, I’m not inviting pets into my home. If I have regular clients whose pets I get to know, I will be open to in the future. Since I have a cat, I want to ensure the comfortability of both pets.
“Aspen was great! Booked her for Thanksgiving week while I was out of town visiting family and she gave me so much peace of mind that she was able to care and drop in to check our cats! She was very friendly, communicative and professional, thanks Aspen!”

About: I own pets and have been a pet sitter for over 15 years. I have expedience with lots of different pets (cats, dogs, and horses) I am very flexible during the day for pet walks, pet and house sitting. I work from home and have flexible hours during the day. I am respectful and trustworthy of all animals and property. I have my own pets and work hard to make sure they are loved and cared for.
About: From the time I was old enough to ask “can we keep him” I’ve always taken care of my best friends. From walking them 3 miles to the vet (before I was old enough to drive) to daily feedings, bathing, grooming and of course, treats! While I spoil the pets, I’m always sure to give them the highest grade food and treats. I believe they deserve the best. Diet and exercise are important. A daily regiment of “fetch” is highly recommended by Duke, the black lab! I would love to take care of your best friend and ensure he/she is given the highest quality of care while keeping Duke company (Duke plays well with others.) I’ve been working from home for the last seven years. I always have time to make sure the water bowls are full and play time is given. Who says you can’t work from the patio while throwing a ball for fetch? Duke and I have a great fenced in yard for plenty of play time and potty breaks. All vegetation is harmless for pets. Grass is well groomed and “yard bombs” removed daily (or as often as required).
“Emma was punctual and reliable, and followed all my instructions. This was our first time being apart for an extended period, so I needed someone who I could trust. My doggo seemed well taken care of. Jiro is quite a handful, but Emma handled him well and I know he will be excited to see Emma again.”

About: One thing that makes me stand out as a good dog sitter is that I always have put the needs of animals ahead of my own. I raised a beautiful golden who had many sicknesses, most relating to her allergies. She had anxiety, and many ear infections, feet infections, an eye infection and once , she got a blood clot in her ear which was very painful and required a lot of meds and TLC. I have an excellent veterinarian who gave us the best care. She got a walk on most days, excluding severe weather days. She got regular brushing, nail clippings, etc. She loved to play with balls and she loved pepperonis her whole life. I have raised several puppies and cared for several senior dogs and just being around animals especially dogs makes me happy. I am a teacher currently and I have evenings, weekends and breaks during the school year and during the summer I have time during the day for the month of June and my schedule frees up starting July and August. I have a fenced in backyard, no animals currently. I have a wonderful place to walk dogs and care for their needs. I love walking .

I highly recommend Kamryn! Our Maggie is always very happy to go on walks with her. What I appreciate most about Kamryn is her kindness and friendly nature, as well as her punctuality and flexibility; during these very hot days, she was available to walk Maggie a bit later when the sun was lower. Thank you so much again, Kamryn! :-)

Abbey has done a great job checking in on both of our dogs for two weeks now. She is super dependable about showing up on time, documenting the visit, and engaging well with both Theo and Bruce. She’s even gone the extra mile and cleaned up after Bruce had a couple of pee accidents inside the house - definitely not something we expect from any dog-sitter but very kind and thoughtful nonetheless. We highly recommend her pet care services!

Aspen was absolutely fantastic watching Enzo for 4 days! From the very beginning, she was communicative, reliable, and put my mind completely at ease while I was away. She sent the cutest picture updates and treated Enzo like her own. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy pet sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Blacklick with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
