About: From the time I was old enough to ask “can we keep him” I’ve always taken care of my best friends. From walking them 3 miles to the vet (before I was old enough to drive) to daily feedings, bathing, grooming and of course, treats! While I spoil the pets, I’m always sure to give them the highest grade food and treats. I believe they deserve the best. Diet and exercise are important. A daily regiment of “fetch” is highly recommended by Duke, the black lab! I would love to take care of your best friend and ensure he/she is given the highest quality of care while keeping Duke company (Duke plays well with others.) I’ve been working from home for the last seven years. I always have time to make sure the water bowls are full and play time is given. Who says you can’t work from the patio while throwing a ball for fetch? Duke and I have a great fenced in yard for plenty of play time and potty breaks. All vegetation is harmless for pets. Grass is well groomed and “yard bombs” removed daily (or as often as required).

About: Hi! My name is Marae. A little about me: I grew up in a home filled with a love for all animals, especially dogs and cats. From feeding and grooming to playtime, giving medication and comforting them when they were anxious, I learned early on how to understand their unique personalities and needs. Because animals have always been such an important part of my life, working with them feels completely natural to me and I truly enjoy it! When I worked at a pet boarding facility, I cared for a wide variety of dogs and cats, each with their own routines, personalities, and preferences. I always made it a priority to ensure every pet felt safe, comfortable, and loved while their families were away. I treat every animal as if they were my own. I’m also a proud cat mom to three: Luna Storm, Chanse the Rapper (he talks a lot, hence the name), and Giovanni Grey. My schedule is flexible and I am normally available even with little notice. Im typically off by 3:00pm but can be off earlier if need be! :) I also have a lot of time open on the weekends. I have a lot of experience taking care of others animals! About: After working in an animal hospital, I have learned so much about dogs and the care they need! I've worked with newborn puppies all the way up to senior dogs who need some extra care and help. I try to give puppies a little bit of training when needed (just basic stuff like sit, stay, lay down). Baths and giving medicine when needed are things I am comfortable with. I absolutely love working with dogs and I do my absolute best to make them feel as comfortable, safe, and loved as I can! I have worked with cats nearly my entire life and up until a few years ago, they have been the only pet I've had! I have also worked with kittens up to senior cats. I am very aware of medications and possible health issues with dogs and cats. I love spoiling both with treats and new toys. For cats, I deep clean litter boxes regularly and make sure they stay as clean as possible. I work part time at two jobs, but I only work up to 5 hour shifts at each. I am a very organized person (I use a planner and two different calendar apps!) so I will always make sure to plan out walks, feeding, and playtime. When petsitting, your pet is my priority! It is extremely helpful if I am left a list or note of things I can do to best take care of your pet(s)! I am very bubbly and love working with animals, which I think helps pets get comfortable with me. If a pet is nervous, then I let them slowly open up on their own. At my home, I love playing with my pets, giving them treats, and spoiling them with new toys when I can.

We had a wonderful experience with Laura and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable pet sitter. We needed to be out of town helping family, Laura stepped in on short notice and was fantastic. Bentley is very much a part of our family—he sleeps with us and has an early morning routine—so we didn’t want to kennel him or leave him alone with drop-in visits. Having Laura stay in our home gave us complete peace of mind. She took the time to come over and meet Bentley with us beforehand, arrived exactly when she said she would, and took excellent care of him all weekend. She sent regular updates and pictures, which meant a lot to us while we were away. It was clear Bentley was comfortable, well cared for, and happy. Laura was trustworthy, communicative, and genuinely kind to our dog. We wouldn’t hesitate to book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for in-home pet care.
