About: From the time I was old enough to ask “can we keep him” I’ve always taken care of my best friends. From walking them 3 miles to the vet (before I was old enough to drive) to daily feedings, bathing, grooming and of course, treats! While I spoil the pets, I’m always sure to give them the highest grade food and treats. I believe they deserve the best. Diet and exercise are important. A daily regiment of “fetch” is highly recommended by Duke, the black lab! I would love to take care of your best friend and ensure he/she is given the highest quality of care while keeping Duke company (Duke plays well with others.) I’ve been working from home for the last seven years. I always have time to make sure the water bowls are full and play time is given. Who says you can’t work from the patio while throwing a ball for fetch? Duke and I have a great fenced in yard for plenty of play time and potty breaks. All vegetation is harmless for pets. Grass is well groomed and “yard bombs” removed daily (or as often as required).
“Liz was amazing! In fact she’s so amazing I’m afraid to give her a 5 star review because we don’t want other people stealing her from us! My partner and I recently traveled to Scotland and left Liz in charge of our 3 dogs and our home. My partner was incredibly nervous to leave, specifically, our 13 year old rescue dog alone and go so far away, at least until we received a picture of Liz and Franny on the couch together, then we knew we were golden. Not only did Liz send daily pictures and updates, she was very understanding every time we messaged her. My partner would pull up the cameras when she knew Liz wasn’t there to check on the dogs and we noticed the dogs had caused some mischief (which is totally normal for them) Liz was always patient and understanding with every message we’d send about the situations. Also, we came home to a house that was so spotless, it was like not even the 3 dogs were there. My partner also particularly enjoyed the daily journal entries that Liz left. She eased my partner’s anxiety so much that she said she’d travel anywhere as long as Liz was available to watch the girls.”

From feeding and grooming to playtime, giving medication and comforting them when they were anxious, I learned early on how to understand their unique personalities and needs. Because animals have always been such an important part of my life, working with them feels completely natural to me and I truly enjoy it! When I worked at a pet boarding facility, I cared for a wide variety of dogs and cats, each with their own routines, personalities, and preferences. I always made it a priority to ensure every pet felt safe, comfortable, and loved while their families were away. I treat every animal as if they were my own.
