“Kayla was great with my older dog. She made Sadie feel comfortable immediately and gained her trust to administer her needed eye medications. I would definitely book her again in the future!”

“Mallory was amazing and when she gets back from vacation, I will contact her again. She showed up on time and was professional and friendly. My dog loved her and was very calm when I returned home. I highly recommend her.”

“Laken was instant friends with our little guy! She communicated very well and made us feel like Otto was in good hands. Otto looks forward to spending more time with Laken! Thank you! 😊”

“Loved Anita and so did our dogs! We have a dog in heart failure who is on meds twice daily and Anita had no issues. We will absolutely have her over again! Thank you. Our house looked so wonderful too!”

“Faith was a life saver! She took great care of our dog Chloe while we were on vacation. When our flights got interrupted and we had to come home a day late she was able to come back and take care of Chloe again that night and the next morning! Whew! Will definitely use her again!”

“Brittany was well loved by our pups and Brittany loved our pups while we were gone. We were especially grateful when our dogs injury re-emerged while we were gone she picked up medicine and administered it until we returned home.”

“Corrinn did a great job! She provided updates often and seemed to really bond with my kitties. I have 4 senior cats that have special needs and I felt very at ease with them in her care. They are very routine orientated and Corrinn didn’t miss a beat with the feeding and medicine schedules. I would definitely rebook and recommend her.”

“Christina was amazing with my very difficult dog. She was so patient and he has decided to love her. Christina's communication was great and I felt very confident leaving my babies with her. We will definitely be rebooking.”

“Gabby was absolutely wonderful! For an over protective dog mom and first time Rover user, I could not have picked a better sitter. Gabby was quick to respond, answered all my questions, met with my dogs and I prior to sitting and made the process so easy. She spent extra time loving on the dogs and sent a lot of update photos. Gabby treated my dogs as if they were her own. If I could give her a 10 star rating I would! We will definitely be booking with Gabby for all of our dog sitting needs! ?”

“Jay is the best dog sitter we've ever had or will ever have. Our pup ended up having unexpected summertime fireworks-related anxiety, and she handled it beautifully. Very communicative. Dozens of photos. We had zero worries about our greyhound and our house. Zero. And the house was spotless when we got back. Really, we cannot say enough good things. We'd give her 100 stars if we could.”

“Kayla was very dependable and went above and beyond to make sure she left the house even better than she found it. She took pics of dogs and shared by text what they were up to, making us feel really confident in her care for them!”

“Kiara took great care of our dogs. She was quick to respond to messages. Kiara was reliable and professional; she let me know when my dog appeared to not feel well.”

“Erin watched our 2 large Shiloh Shepherds for 3 days (overnight) and she was wonderful! She took great care of our boys, took time to play with them outside, and gave them lots of love and cuddles. She also sent tons of photos, which was greatly appreciated. Our dogs seem to miss her already! Erin also left our house in great shape and was very communicative during the process. Would absolutely have Erin dog sit for us again!”

“We consider ourselves very lucky to have found Ashley on such short notice ahead of the holidays. Our dates were in flux and we couldn't book as far in advance as we would have liked. I was VERY anxious booking someone new for a full week (as our normal sitter was not available) especially given we have a senior cat that requires regular meds, but Ashley did everything in her power to make this paranoid cat mom feel at ease! She stopped by for a meet and greet ahead of the booking. She sent loads of pictures and updates, including regular updates on how my senior boy was doing taking his meds. Both cats seemed very comfortable with her as evidenced by the snuggles my senior cat gave and the very limited number of hisses from our spicy girl. When we got home, the house was in impeccable shape and Ashley even brought in our mail/packages, which I greatly appreciated! We will definitely be rebooking with Ashley next time we need someone to watch the buddies!”

“Jenna took really good care of our cat while we were out of town. She texted me every day and sent pictures. I will be sure to use her again in the future!”

“Kam did an excellent job and was a pleasure to work with. She is very communicative and thoughtful. Our dog - who is usually quite anxious - was extremely comfortable and relaxed with her while we were on vacation, even over the 4th of July when loud noises usually bother him. Kam stayed at our home and sent lots of cute dog pics while we were away. Highly recommend!”

About: I have had my own dog since I was five when I named my Doberman Rommel. (History nut even then.) Around New Albany people see me walking my dog constantly. All weather every day twice a day. Long walks that allow my dog LuLu to explore and destress. Best thing for them. I love dogs and almost always, they love me right back. I'm patient, protective, and I know dogs are family! I work from home and I'm semi-retired so my schedule is as flexible as it gets. I can make almost any days and times work and boarding is always a possibility if you don't mind your dog getting an overload of attention! I have a fenced yard and an overly friendly senior mutt. I'm also always aware of other dogs when I walk and I know how to prevent problems before they happen. I owned a Golden Retriever and larger dogs in the past so big breeds aren't a problem.

About: I’ve taken care of multiple dogs and puppies throughout my whole life, ever since I was 15! Friends and family know me as the dog lover. I’ve had and taken care of my own senior dogs, and have just recently adopted a puppy where I have trained them 5 extensive commands before turning 1 years old. I work part-time so I’ll have plenty of time to care for and play with your loving fur babies. I have weekly an evening commitment on Tuesdays, that is the only day I’m unavailable for evening or overnight care. My part-time job is remote so I could be available for in-home stay and care. I have my own two dogs so I will NOT offer boarding at my own home. I do not offer personal boarding at my home. I live in an apartment and have my own 2 dogs. I have give a generous amount of attention to my dogs to keep them active by going on multiple short walks throughout the day, long walks in the evening, going to the dog park to allow for play time, and brain stimulation when forced to stay indoors.

New Albany pet parents share their Rover experiences
This was our first time booking with Kayla and she was simply amazing. She clearly has a way with dogs (and in our case big ones). She fed and gave medications perfectly and she was extremely tidy. Plus she's a great photographer of our pups! We hope she's available for our next out of town trip.

I was away for 3 weeks and Kathleen looked after my 2 mini dachshund who are my furry children. She gave me daily updates, photos, videos, and also took such good care of my house. When I returned, it was like I had never left. Highly recommend Kathleen, she is the BEST.
