Short days which would give me plenty of time to spend with your furry friend! I will have plenty of time to make sure they get all of their energy out! I have a fully fenced in backyard and live in a quiet neighborhood for peaceful walks. If your dog requires or is more comfortable in a crate, I can comfortably fit one in my home as well.

About: In addition to growing up with both dogs and cats of my own, I have been caring for pets through Rover for nearly 8 years now and I know exactly how much work goes into taking care of man's best friend! Whether you have an energetic puppy, a special needs senior, or family felines, I am here to help! I'm WFH full-time and am able to offer boarding and doggy daycare for small breeds only (under 15lbs due to weight restrictions at my apartment, house-trained, and not prone to loud barking or urine marking), but since I have two cats with limited space, I require a meet and greet in my home prior to booking. While I do offer house sitting and drop-in visits, I have a diabetic cat that requires insulin injections 8am & 8pm which does mean I have to stay pretty local for overnight & prefer no more than 5 nights (also if you have a diabetic cat too, I got you!). House sitting rates includes staying in your home around the clock, aside from my twice a day trips home and any errands or other drop-ins I might have. If 30-60 min drop ins are too short for your fur baby's needs, please select house sitting option and I will work with you to stay in the home as much as you need even if overnights aren't necessary :) When first meeting clients I like to do a thorough walk-through of everything there is to know about their pup's feeding and walking schedule as well as about the home (alarms, spare keys, guest room etc.) that way I have less questions for the owner while they are away and can confidently jump into the dog's regular routine without any hiccups.

My last dog unfortunately had to have her leg amputated when she got older, so I also have experience with disabled dogs. “Amy was able to sit for my dog Ivy for four days on very short notice. She was very accommodating and really want the extra mile to work with me on schedule. She has a lovely home with a nice fenced backyard for your pup. Her fur baby Roxy is such a sweetheart and immediately was friendly with my 100 pound dog. Amy was amazing at sending me updates and pictures during Ivy’s stay. I would 100% use her again in the future!”

“My boarding experience with Lauren has been great. I felt really comfortable knowing she was well cared for during my extended trip away. Lauren is easy to communicate with and very responsive. We also do daycare with her and my Yorkie enjoys going back, which says a lot since she’s usually pretty anxious in environments outside of the house. Lauren is very kind and treats my little one like her own, and I really appreciate the care she gives her. We’ve had a great experience overall.”
