About: I have had a dog ever since I was 8 (11 years). Ever since then, I have been responsible for feeding, walking, giving her medicine, and so much more. I also have walked as well as pet sat friend’s and family’s pets before (dogs, cats, even chinchillas!). I am also a big walker in general so I’d be ecstatic to take your dog on a nice long walk around the neighborhood :). I have a very open schedule meaning that I would be willing to walk or take care of your pet whenever you need me to. I am very patient with animals and am dedicated to building trust with any pet I am taking care of. I understand how important trust is for animals so I will spend time making sure they feel comfortable and safe with me at all times.

“Alexa went above and beyond! Our dogs have gotten use to their humans being home 24/7. We decided to go to Disneyland for the day and knew 15 - 16 hours alone in the house was too long. Alexa took extra care to meet Zero and KC before hand. She is gentle and kind and quickly won them over. During her visit she took them outside to play, gave them treats, loves and fresh water. And Alexa sent us pictures of her visit with Zero and KC. This is my first time to use Rover and I’m impressed. It worked out perfectly! The dogs were happy and no accidents in the house. Alexa even brought a heavy package inside that was unexpectedly left on the front porch. We will definitely use Alexa again!”

About: I have been a committed petsitter for more than 8 years. I have lovingly cared for a wide variety of animals including varying breeds, ages, behavioral and medical issues. I run a nonprofit dog rescue and have fostered 50+ dogs, many of whom I have steadily worked through behavioral and medical issues with, as well as individual quirks, and I adored them all the same! I have a proven track record of maintaining a safe, fun, loving environment for animals while their humans cannot be there with them. I provide daily updates, paired with quick communication to pet parents. I am comfortable administering medication and specialized care to give your animals the individualized care and support they need to thrive giving their humans peace of mind they are being loved and cared for like my own. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your fur babies. I own a 6 year old rescue golden who is my world. I periodically foster dogs who I effectively change routine as needed or get them on our existing routine of 2 walks and meals a day, and tons of play and cuddles in between. I am a college student at El Camino college and transferring to Cal State Long Beach in the spring. A lot of my classes are online but my in person class schedule changes each semester. Walks and hanging out with the animals are a key part of my day. Between now and the spring I am available most mornings, afternoons and evenings for walks, check ins and overnight care. As my school schedule changes my availability will be updated. I care for animals in the clients home. For cats, dogs and other animals that need drop in care I am readily available to give your pets all the love they need on a drop in basis. When staying for longer periods I care for the animals in their home overnight and am able to stay at the residence for most of the days, and all night. I often enjoy bringing my well behaved and well balanced 6 year old golden retriever with me for overnight care when possible, but I am also available for animals who may not allow her to accompany me, in which case I would be able to come on my own.

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs for over 30 years. I currently have a comical French bulldog named Dexter. Dexter is very friendly and curious and loves hanging out with new pack mates. I work from home every day of the week so I am always around to take care of and provide companionship for your pet. xoxo I have a house with a fenced in yard. I only look after one pet at a time so they receive all of my attention.

I’m already out walking four miles a day (with or without your pup), rain or shine, squirrel or no squirrel. Whether your dog’s a turbo-charged terrier or a take-it-slow senior, I match their pace like a pro. From leash logic to cuddle diplomacy, I’ve got it covered—so you can rest easy knowing your four-legged family member is strutting with someone who gets it. I am currently not working so looking to spend time outside in the sunshine. I often walk the strand or run the green belt, but dog park is fun too. In the past I worked from home, so my dog and cat follow me around the house. But we try to get in a few good walks :)

About: I already love your dog and haven't even met him/her yet. I would love to take your doggo for a walk or drop in give them some attention! I grew up with dogs (labs and pitbulls), so I am comfortable handling all sizes and breeds. I work a classic 9-5 job, but can walk your dog before and after work. If your dog is up for it, I can take them for a run also! If you are located within 10 minutes of work, I can also stop by during lunch to hang out with your pup. I think our pets deserve some loving everyday and to get out of the house for an adventure every once in a while and am happy to help you with that! On days that I am watching your pup, I always try to be working from home so I can take them for walks whenever needed and be with them most of the day! In my apartment, we are super pet friendly! I have a protected balcony that pups can enjoy and a grass area right outside my apartment for potty time. Also plenty of safe and fun walking areas to explore during walk time.
