About: I Grew up with dogs and have two of my own. Boarded dogs since I was in college. Worked with different types of dogs and families! I work different jobs and mostly from home. I have two boys (12 & 10). They are well behaved and always help me with the boarding pups whenever they can The backyard is closed and fenced. I have artificial turf for pups to go potty. And the rest is concrete and river rocks. Fence on both sides to provide privacy and protection

About: As a massage therapist, trainer and health coach, and reiki master, I have learned a lot over the years about not only how to heal and help others but also how to apply those same principles to our furry friends. After all they are family too. They deserve the same holistic natural care as we do. And the recent passing of my 15 year old retriever shepherd mix was proof of that. He was diagnosed with arthritis and hip dysplasia at age six and lupus and hypothyroid at age 8. He should not have lived as long as he did, but with proper nutrition , exercise, and the use of alternative modalities Such as acupuncture, massage and reiki, he lived a very long, abundant life. I then passed on that knowledge and healing to a 14 year old rescue named Ava. She lived to be 17! Finally, after taking some time to heal again, i rescued my latest and embarked back on the puppy journey. She was 14 month old husky of pure energy, goof and intelligence. Now she’s a rehabilitated 2.5 year old. When dogs stay with me, they will be treated as my own. They are in a home on a bed, dog bed, or couch. They are in a yard, on a trail, or swimming- not in a cage with only 3 breaks a day. They live the Tahoe life (or the SF/Pacifica Beach life) with me and my semi new Rescue, Nala. Ive grown up with medium to large breeds and I am very passionate about keeping our gentle giants out of pain and spreading awareness against large breed discrimination. I relocated from Truckee to Pacifica In 2019 after running a pet care business up there for four years. I am still up in the Tahoe area once a month, but I serve the entire peninsula area. In other words, I'm pretty flexible, just message me. My prices are not set in stone and can be changed based on your specific situation and your pets needs. Lastly, I will be offering my canine massage and reiki services as both an in home service and at my own home and new office. Be well and wag on! I work from office and home both. But my office is only three blocks away. and school is online and from home. so I’m almost always home unless so have to run an errand. My office is pet friendly and they are welcome there also. My backyard and garden has great energy as I do a lot of reiki out there with my plants. I have two runners and one 20ft lead in addition to two fenced yards But dogs are never left alone out there. If I have to leave they will be put in the room or in a crate depending on their level of training and trust.

When we returned Honey had several new BFFs: Christy and her canine savvy family, with couch-snuggle photos as proof; and Phoebe (Christy’s own golden retriever). Christy’s day plan nailed all Honey's need—timed meals and potty breaks along with the perfect play–nap balance. Christy sent updates and snapshots, so we stayed relaxed and guilt free at the park. I had zero pet-parent stress. When I picked up Honey she trotted out tail-wagging, paws dragging, slightly heavier (treats happen!) and blissfully wiped out. “As a first time Rover user I was very hesitant to leave my 2 year old pup with someone who wasn’t a relative and in her own home. Everyone I know who had used Rover had great things to say, but when you get your companion at 12 weeks old and spend almost every moment with them for almost 2 years it can be difficult to leave them with anyone new. Pia eased my worries right away and take incredible care of my German Shorthaired Pointer, Tootsie. If you don’t know how energetic GSP’s are, they need lots of exercise daily. Pia and her family took excellent care of Tootsie and I couldn’t be more pleased with how well she was taken care of. My dog makes herself at home wherever she goes but Pia made Tootsie feel right at home, so much so that I’m not sure she wanted to leave when I came to pick her up! I received plenty of pictures/updates on how she was doing and all the fun she was having while I had to travel out of town for a few days. I don’t expect to need any pet sitting services for a while but I would absolutely rebook with Pia again! 11/10!”

I am pretty flexible for pick up, drop off and meet n greets. Two fenced yards, two dog beds, a couch and my bed. And your dog is welcome to them all. My backyard and garden has great energy as I do a lot of reiki out there with my plants. I have two runners and one 20ft lead in addition to two fenced yards But dogs are never left alone out there. If I have to leave they will be put in the room or in a crate depending on their level of training and trust.

About: I've had pups most of my life. I love hanging and playing with them. I also have a big back yard where they can play. I look forward to meeting your furry baby and giving him/her lots of love and attention My schedule is wide open, I do attend a morning job program, but I have a lot of time and flexibility. I love meeting new furry friends. I live with my Dad and there is always somebody home. I live on a quiet street, I have a fenced in large back yard with plenty of green spaces. My home has no carpet and is very pet friendly. I will also take them for walks in the neighborhood.
About: I grew up mostly around big dogs. I used dog sit my little sister Chihuahua. Barley learning about cats and used grew up around cats If no social events during the weekends. After 12 pm, I am available. 10 am- 12 PM is my gym routine. I don't mind taking the dogs for a walk. However, unable to take the dogs on weekdays because I have two school district jobs. The only time to walk the dogs on weekdays is during winter or summer breaks. Mostly dog walking suits me better. I have experience walking my dogs. Also, it's been a while since I've been walking dogs, so I might be nervous and rusty around them because I moved out into my smaller place and my dogs are with my relatives.

About: Are you the kind of dog parent who crosses the street if other dogs are in sight or purposely walking at off hours to protect your (and your babies) peace? I know the feeling. As a dog parent to one reactive nervous nelly and one perfectly social senior I know what it is like to balance both and how different both of their needs are in order for both to be happy and comfortable. Wether it be administering meds, special walk considerations or just a little extra tlc I’d love to give your pup the same special treatment I give my own. I frequently volunteer with rescue and have experience caring for dogs with medical needs. I currently work from home so am able to spend the majority of time with your pup and get walks in 4+ times per day or as needed. I live in an apartment with my two friendly senior dogs who are both on daily medication themselves. We go on minimum four walks a day emphasizing a slow sniff for all the leisure goodness. With seniors myself I know that energy can vary so I am used to monitoring for fatigue to adjust and taking their lead.
