About: I’ve been playing with pups since I was born, I have experience with a wide range of dogs of all different backgrounds, sizes and personalities. Im the go-to neighborhood babysitter as I get along with every dog I’ve met, regardless of their needs, age and unique attitudes from shy to sassy, mischievous, rambunctious and everything in between. I’m laid back and have no problem with untrained, high maintenance and/or dogs that aren’t potty trained. I currently have a very flexible schedule and am willing to work with the owners needs, just let me know and we can work something out. I have a large wrap around balcony and keep gates on both sides of it, I’m near the ocean on the 2nd floor so I like to keep my apartment door open (if the client is comfortable) so that we can both freely go in and out of the apartment on to the balcony for fresh air and people watching. About: I work from home full time, so any dog who stays with us gets real company all day long, not just a quick hello before someone rushes out the door. My own dog, Zeca, a four-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, is basically my co-sitter. He's friendly, easygoing, and genuinely loves other dogs, so new guests usually relax within the first hour because he shows them around. We live in North Redondo close to the beach and have a good-sized backyard, so there's plenty of space to run, dig, sunbathe, or just wander around without ever feeling cooped up. I'll be upfront: I'm not a certified trainer, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise. What I do have is years of hands-on experience as a dog owner, the kind that teaches you to read a dog's mood, know when they want space versus attention, and tell the difference between excited and anxious. That's the experience I bring to every dog I host, and I treat each one the way I'd want someone to treat Zeca. Because I work from home, pet care isn't squeezed into a lunch break, it's part of the whole day. Mornings start with a walk, around the neighborhood or nearby park, followed by breakfast and some backyard time while I work nearby. There's usually a midday break for play or another walk, and evenings wind down slow, either on the couch or out in the yard before bed. Dogs in my care are never left alone for long stretches. I'm home, and I'm checking in constantly, not just during scheduled visits. For both boarding and day care, dogs stay right here with us. Not in a kennel, not crated all day. They get the run of the backyard, a comfortable spot indoors, fresh water always available, and meals kept on whatever schedule matches their normal routine at home. I ask for those specifics upfront so nothing feels disruptive. Zeca is around for company and play if a guest is social, and just as happy to give a quiet dog some one-on-one time instead if that's what they need. I send photo updates throughout the stay so you can see exactly how your dog's day is going, and any instructions you give me on feeding, meds, or routine are treated as non-negotiable, not suggestions.

About: My approach with any animal is to use positive reinforcement and a lot of patience. I grew up with dogs, cats and various other animals. I was heavily into 4-H and adopted a wild burro, raised pigs and joined the dog training group with my shelter dog, a German Shepard Samoyed mix. Currently, we have two rescue dogs. Whenever we host our neighbor's dog, all the dogs have a blast and act like they are having a sleepover. In addition to caring for dogs, I also have experience with a diabetic cat that required two daily shots. My husband and I work from home so there is always someone around. We take the dogs out for frequent potty breaks throughout the day. We also live near Valley Park and the green belt which are perfect for longer walks. In addition to my husband, I have two teenage sons who will also be here to play with your pup. We currently have two welcoming adopted dogs, Koko, who is the older wiser pup bringing calm energy, and Mango, who very lovable and wants to be friends with every human and dog. At our condo, the dogs have access to two decks in the back, perfect for quiet naps in the sun, and one deck in the front overlooking all the action that passes by on the street. If your pup likes to play tug-of-war, Mango will happily play and share her toys.

About: I had the luxury of growing up on property in Oregon, and with that space came the ability to have many pets!!! Specialty care with seniors and high energy doggies who need more attention and support. I’m a single mom and I work part-time at a local hospital so I have pretty open availability! I generally work two 12’s a week and am lucky enough to choose which days I work so I can be more flexible with availability to take care of your pet. I have a fenced yard, and a big comfy couch to lounge around on. I’m active, so like to take your pet on multiple walks if they have energy to burn. The only pet we currently have is a ball python named Garuda!! Though we keep things calm, we also do love a high energy pet that wants to play all the time!

I have flexible availability every other Monday, and I’m generally available Tuesdays and Wednesdays after 4:30 PM, Thursdays and Fridays in the evenings, and early mornings on Saturdays and Sundays. My availability may occasionally vary or allow for additional times, so please feel free to send me a request and I’ll be happy to let you know if I’m available. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my priority. Before caring for your pup, I’d love to learn about their normal routine, temperament, commands, walking habits and anything I should be aware of, such as triggers or reactivity around other dogs or people. During walks, I’ll keep your pup safely leashed and pay close attention to our surroundings. For drop-in visits, I’ll respect your home and follow the care instructions you provide. I’m also happy to send pictures and updates so you can feel comfortable knowing your pup is safe, happy and well cared for while you’re away.
About: I’ve spent my whole life caring for animals! Every animal is special in their own way and has special needs. I’m active, love spending time outdoors and enjoy taking dogs on long walks and adventures I work from home so fitting pet care/sitting into my daily routine is no problem at all. About: My approach with any animal is to use positive reinforcement and a lot of patience. I grew up with dogs, cats and various other animals. I was heavily into 4-H and adopted a wild burro, raised pigs and joined the dog training group with my shelter dog, a German Shepard Samoyed mix. Currently, we have two rescue dogs. Whenever we host our neighbor's dog, all the dogs have a blast and act like they are having a sleepover. In addition to caring for dogs, I also have experience with a diabetic cat that required two daily shots. My husband and I work from home so there is always someone around. We take the dogs out for frequent potty breaks throughout the day. We also live near Valley Park and the green belt which are perfect for longer walks. In addition to my husband, I have two teenage sons who will also be here to play with your pup. We currently have two welcoming adopted dogs, Koko, who is the older wiser pup bringing calm energy, and Mango, who very lovable and wants to be friends with every human and dog. At our condo, the dogs have access to two decks in the back, perfect for quiet naps in the sun, and one deck in the front overlooking all the action that passes by on the street. If your pup likes to play tug-of-war, Mango will happily play and share her toys.
“Andrew and Jess kept our high-maintenance, sensitive chihuahua mix for 4 nights. We had never left him with anyone besides our kids. I can’t say enough good things about our experience. I did not worry once. Andrew sent a picture of Rudy happy and sitting on his lap 15 minutes after I left. He sent pictures and updates a bunch and they were super fun and reassuring to receive. Andrew and Jess are kind people and clearly dog lovers. I think Rudy was sad to leave! He will be back next month and we will be planning more getaways knowing we have a safe and fun option for our dog. I highly recommend Andrew and Jess!!!”

While I have many years of experience caring for dogs, I am not a professional dog trainer or behaviorist. For everyone’s safety, I only accept dogs that are friendly with people and can be safely managed on walks and in new environments. If your dog has a history of aggression toward people or other dogs, I may not be the right sitter for your pet. I love puppies and will take in un-spayed or un neutered young puppies (less than 9 months old), at my discretion. I work remote from home and have the flexibility to visit or walk your dog. I have my own three dogs that hang out with me when I work at my desk. I have some flexibility to take a dog to join us to hang out for the day or night. I walk the dogs every afternoon. I have a fenced yard, three friendly dogs to keep your’s company and an XL crate if needed. If I am dog sitting, I would not leave your dog home alone and unattended. There is shaded patio, artificial turf for running and not getting dirty, I have a magnetic screen so my dogs are free to walk in and out of the house at leisure.
