About: From growing up with dogs and cats to raising a litter of seven puppies from birth until each found a loving home, animals have been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember. As both a lifelong pet parent and someone who has relied on professional care while working full time, I understand how important it is to have complete trust in the person looking after your pets. That’s why I bring not only love and patience, but also a high level of responsibility and attention to detail. Our own dogs keep us mindful of maintaining a tidy, safe home where nothing is left within paw’s reach—because I know that when caring for someone else’s pets, only the very best will do Caring for my own dogs is already a part of my daily routine, so extending that love and attention to other pets comes naturally. Since I work part-time from home, my schedule is extremely flexible and allows me plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, and extra pup love throughout the week. Whether it’s a midday walk, an afternoon play session, or evening care, I can easily adjust my routine to fit the needs of your pet. In my home, safety and comfort are top priorities. Because I own dogs of only own, my space is always tidy and secure, with nothing left out that a curious pup could get into. My apartment complex also has multiple fenced-in dog parks that I frequent often, giving pups the chance to run, play, and socialize in a safe environment. Pets in my care are always supervised, given plenty of love, and treated like part of the family. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routines carefully to ensure consistency and comfort, while being attentive to each pet’s unique needs. My goal is to provide a safe, loving environment that gives pets the best care possible and owners complete peace of mind.

About: I already love your dog and haven't even met him/her yet. I would love to take your doggo for a walk or drop in give them some attention! I grew up with dogs (labs and pitbulls), so I am comfortable handling all sizes and breeds. I work a classic 9-5 job, but can walk your dog before and after work. If your dog is up for it, I can take them for a run also! If you are located within 10 minutes of work, I can also stop by during lunch to hang out with your pup. I think our pets deserve some loving everyday and to get out of the house for an adventure every once in a while and am happy to help you with that! On days that I am watching your pup, I always try to be working from home so I can take them for walks whenever needed and be with them most of the day! In my apartment, we are super pet friendly! I have a protected balcony that pups can enjoy and a grass area right outside my apartment for potty time. Also plenty of safe and fun walking areas to explore during walk time.

When we returned Honey had several new BFFs: Christy and her canine savvy family, with couch-snuggle photos as proof; and Phoebe (Christy’s own golden retriever). Christy’s day plan nailed all Honey's need—timed meals and potty breaks along with the perfect play–nap balance. Christy sent updates and snapshots, so we stayed relaxed and guilt free at the park. I had zero pet-parent stress. When I picked up Honey she trotted out tail-wagging, paws dragging, slightly heavier (treats happen!) and blissfully wiped out. I have 2 of my own and I would love to get more but their big brother who was a Great Dane died recently and they are (including me) are still grieving him. “I can not say enough great things about Gina and her care for my Gigi. Breaking this down ; I was in desperate need of a doggy sitter for a last minute wedding trip out of town. I found Rover online and gave it a shot. I came across Gina's profile and saw all her raving reviews so I knew I had to try her out . I was looking for someone who would take care of my Gigi the way I would ,and someone who would truly give Gigi lots of love and attention. Gina was that person! “Brian was amazing, patient and so communicative throughout Rocky and Stu’s stay. He went above and beyond - not only did he bathe both dogs after noticing that they were scratching a lot, but Brian also braved bringing stubborn, old-man Stu to the dog park (which is no easy feat), but in just one weekend, Stu is now exponentially better when passing other dogs on walks. “Andrew and Jess kept our high-maintenance, sensitive chihuahua mix for 4 nights. We had never left him with anyone besides our kids. I can’t say enough good things about our experience. I did not worry once. Andrew sent a picture of Rudy happy and sitting on his lap 15 minutes after I left. He sent pictures and updates a bunch and they were super fun and reassuring to receive. Andrew and Jess are kind people and clearly dog lovers. I think Rudy was sad to leave!
