“Viktoria was great, she was prompt with communication, sent us picture updates, and took great care of my dog! Annie had a great time and we would definitely board with Viktoria again in the future.”

About: At my home, your dog is treated like family. My background is in education, so I’ve had the unique experience of learning to take care of dogs as well as children. I grew up with a Labrador, and currently own a 5 year old rescue male who gets along wonderfully with other dogs. I provide compassionate, one-on-one care tailored to your dog’s unique needs and behaviors. My home offers doggy socialization, playtime, and cuddles. I am attentive to every detail—ensuring a safe, loving, and stress-free experience while your dog is away from you. I work from home 3 days a week, and have flexibility to take your dog out for breaks and playtime when needed. Weekends I will be home all day! I have a fenced yard and a cozy house that has space for doggie beds or a crate if needed. My own dog has toys he’s willing to share, and the dogs have space to run around in the back.
“Kate is the best! I knew it was a match the first time I met her. My baby made new friends and had a great time at his "sleep over"😊 THANK YOU Kate for understanding my anxiety about leaving him with someone other than family.🥰”

“Wow! I am so thankful that Jennifer was able to watch my dogs this weekend. She is incredible! It is very clear she has a deep love for animals. She was so kind and gentle and understanding. She has a fenced yard so the dogs could run around and play. Her son was so amazing! He takes after his mom with his love for animals. I highly recommend them! You will not be disappointed. I felt at ease knowing they were with someone so loving.”

“I will 1000% use Meaghan again. She accepted my dog into her home and treated her like she was part of the family. From family outings, to walks, to hanging out with her and her children, my dog was always included. I love that she sends morning updates with pictures. Being able to see that she is calm and comfortable with Meaghan and her family is very reassuring. My dog is very anxious, especially when we go out of town, and tends not to eat when we are gone. Meaghan was consistent and patient with her and finally was able to get her to eat on the 2nd or 3rd day.”

“Megan was great with Delilah! She sent pictures and updates and I could tell Delilah had a great time with her pup! Will definitely be using Megan as a sitter again in the future!”

About: I’ve taken care of family members dogs and have been trusted for 2 weeks at a time with their dog over the summer. I have been around dogs all my life as well and learned how to distinguish the behaviors of the dogs. I am also an aspiring veterinarian so I love learning about animals and their behaviors, especially dogs! I am working on getting more certifications so I can take the best care of your pups! I’m currently in on summer break and so my availability is more open at this time. Times may vary as I do work part time! I have a fenced yard that is large enough for your dog to play and get in exercise. There is a walkout basement that is dedicated to your dog!

“Stefani was so accommodating and made me feel completely at ease with leaving my dog with a stranger for the first time. Her own dogs were sweet and friendly. My dog came back happy. Will definitely use her again. Thank you!!?”

“Megan did a wonderful job with my Lukey. When unexpected medical needs arose, she was still willing to watch him. She did an excellent job with giving him his daily medication and caring for his special needs. She sent multiple pictures throughout the day on all the many walks he went on. Megan is a kind and thoughtful sitter and I would highly recommend booking her!!”
“Nemo took to Kathleen right away. She kept him busy with walking and playing with her children. She is a dog lover! He is as in good hands. Sent several pics too. Would definitely ask her to sit again.”

“Donelle was great, unfortunately Monroe will not be able to stay with her again, she said he marked often, this is expected from male dogs specifically when other dogs are present”

“Jim was great with Philip! He sent photos and kept me updated throughout the stay. Jim’s home is very clean and organized. He played with Philip in his backyard and even invited his dad’s dog over to keep my boy company. The two got along well! Will certainly book again! Book with Jim!”

“This was my first time leaving my fur baby with Ana and Byron. I was a little nervous as I didn’t know how she would react being in a new environment. Needless to say my worries were eased as soon as I saw pics and videos of her outside going for a walk or simply just laying on Byron’s lap. I will definitely be using them again as my fur baby was content and well taken care of.”

“Rolanda was amazing! She kept me updated and sent pictures of Chloe throughout her stay! I can tell that Chloe was comfortable with her and she came back just as happy as she was before i dropped her off! I would definitely book with Rolanda again!”
“Mariah is a wonderful sitter, she took great care of my baby. She took him on walks, played with him and had plenty of treats. I appreciated her sending pictures and videos while I was away to ease my mind. I will definitely use her again and would recommend her.”

“This is my second time letting Janet watch my dog Charlie. It was great, she sent plenty of pictures and Charlie is really comfortable with Janet. Another great visit!”

“From the moment I met Danny, I knew he would be a great caretaker for my pit bull mix, Bertoli. He was warm, friendly, polite, and seemed to genuinely care about dogs, specifically pit bulls and related bully breeds. Bertoli seemed to feel right at home when we arrived at Danny's house, and I think he had a great time during his stay at Danny's. He even took Bertoli out running. I would highly recommend Danny, and will book again next time we need a dog sitter!”

Orland Hills pet parents share their Rover experiences
Kathy and her family were wonderful and treated my dog great! I’ve never boarded my dog before. I love that she only takes one dog at a time and her whole family is loving on him while we were gone. She took him for walks, had a large fenced in yard and truly cares about the dogs she takes in. My dog had free range in the house. She kept me informed as to how he was doing and sent me pictures. ❤️❤️❤️

Desiree was incredibly accommodating to my dog's needs and very understanding of her anxiety. Since this was Bell-A’s first time being boarded, I was naturally nervous, but Desiree took excellent care of her and made the experience as stress-free as possible. She sent daily updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that Bell-A was in caring and capable hands. I truly appreciate the attention, patience, and love she showed my dog, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.

We don’t board our dogs or have them watched outside of our home very often. When we do need help, it’s usually a family member or close friend staying at our house. Because of that, we were a little nervous about having them stay somewhere else, but Emily was absolutely wonderful! She was incredibly patient, loving, and kind with both of our dogs—especially our Labrador, who has become quite the homebody in his older years and needed a little extra time to adjust to being away from home. Emily handled it with so much patience and care, and we could tell she genuinely wanted him to feel comfortable and secure. When we picked them up, they were excited to see us but were clearly happy, comfortable, and well looked after. It’s obvious that Emily genuinely cares about the animals she watches and treats them like her own. We would absolutely recommend Emily to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter, and we would not hesitate to book with her again in the future. Thank you again, Emily, for taking such great care of our pups!
Michelle and her family are incredible. We are so thankful we found them. They have watched our dog Chip a few times and he is legit excited to go back everytime. We were nervous about who was going to watch chip for our wedding weekend but after the few times he stayed with Michelle and fam we did not have to worry at all. We could enjoy our day knowing he was in the best hands! 1000% reccomend

Kimberly and Matthew were amazing care givers this past weekend. Kimberly kept in constant contact with me sending a ton of pics and made me feel at ease leaving my baby with them! This was his first time being away from home as I had to deal with a family situation in Michigan. I couldn’t have picked better humans to care for our Echo other than myself, naturally. Thank you for being amazing!!! I know he enjoyed the time he spent with you!
