Message me for availability as it changes every 3 weeks. I work full time but they are 12 hour shifts 3 days a week and rotate. I am able to do drop in visits/walks. About: My husband and I own a dog grooming salon, in Orland park, which was owned by his family and has been in business for over 25 years. We have American Red Cross CPR class, for dogs, two times a year at our dog grooming salon. All dogs must be potty trained to go outside. Puppy pad trained dogs are not accepted. Diapers on dogs are not accepted. Thank you for considering us to care for your fur baby while your away. One of us stays in your home with your fur babies over night. We do have to go to work during the day. We do our best to try to keep your pet’s routine the same. We care for the client’s dogs in their home and follow whatever instructions we are given. It is up to the client on what they would like us to do.

About: I currently have a 10.5 year old Golden Retriever named Nala. I don’t have a fenced in yard so we spend a lot of time going for long walks. I have had dogs my whole life and love to spend time with them. I'm a very nurturing person and I would make sure that your dog feels at home while they enjoy their visit with us. My dog gets along very well with other dogs so having an extra companion around for Nala would be great. I will make sure that your dog gets the attention and care that he/she needs ! I am a high school teacher, so right now I am gone from about 7-330 each day - but we take a nice walk in the morning before I leave & then go for several walks throughout the remainder of the day. Dogs at my house are allowed on all furniture and free range of the house for their convenience! If your dog is not potty trained, I will request a crate to be brought over while I am out of the house.

About: I’ve taken care of family members dogs and have been trusted for 2 weeks at a time with their dog over the summer. I have been around dogs all my life as well and learned how to distinguish the behaviors of the dogs. I am also an aspiring veterinarian so I love learning about animals and their behaviors, especially dogs! I am working on getting more certifications so I can take the best care of your pups! I’m currently in on summer break and so my availability is more open at this time. Times may vary as I do work part time! I have a fenced yard that is large enough for your dog to play and get in exercise. There is a walkout basement that is dedicated to your dog!

About: I’ve dog sat dogs for week long periods and love to do it. I have a dog of my own and am great with all animals. I’m very active and enjoy taking care of pets. I work part-time but my job is super flexible when I’m given a two week notice. I have a fairly busy daily schedule but never occupied for more than 6 hours at a time. Super easy going with whatever rules or specific needs a dog has whether it be walking or sitting. I’ve worked with many different situations and am comfortable with basically everything.

About: Quick note I don’t charge more if you have more than one animal in the house :) (rover won’t let me change it) With that being said, I have taken care of dogs and puppies ever since sixth grade. I have also grown up with medium size and large dogs my whole life. Throughout middle school, highschool, and college I have gained experience by volunteering at animal shelters. I have gotten to take care of dogs and cats with many different temperaments, some shy, some aggressive, but all equally deserving of love and patience. I also have practice walking strong pulling dogs and have worked at Camp Bow Wow for two years. This included breaking up dog fights, working with many different breeds, bathing and grooming the dogs, prepping meals, and multitasking. Petcare fits into my weekly routine because I am on summer break for the summer, home for college. I have been looking for a job that is flexible after I returned home from a month in Spain, and I love dogs and cats. I always ensure the safety of pets. I make sure I hold dogs’ leashes properly on walks and that sibling pets do not get too out of hand when it comes to playing. Furthermore, certain rooms will remain off limits, and I will ensure all doors will remain closed if requested. I will feed dogs or cats at the proper time and give them plenty of snuggles if they are comfortable with me :)

About: I've worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility where I cleaned, fed, bathed, and medicated dogs of all kinds. Friends and family know that I'm their go-to pet/housesitter. I've had three dogs in my life, one after the other, so I've never been without a furry companion. I've even had strangers tell me that I have a welcoming and open aura when it comes to animals. I would love to meet your fur baby <3 I am currently working a full-time job on 2nd shift, from 3 pm - 12 am on weekdays. Looking to go back to school soon and earn my master's. I feel good with adapting to new environments and agree with the choice of keeping the pet where they are most comfortable, their home. My family and I did the same. I'm very particular and overly sensitive when it comes to people going through my stuff ( for example, like in a dorm room), so I respect people's homes and their belongings.
