“Peggy was amazing, she was very understanding on how we want the two boys to be walked the commands they must listen to. They both accepted her and the bigger guy does amazing with her on walks, better than me. She always follows up post walk and how they did. She is very kind enough to clean up after the little guy pees cuz he gets so happy to see her:)”

“Michelle was great with Gandalf she went above and beyond. She played with him cuddled him and left him some shows on for some mental stimulation while we were away.”

“Amy did an amazing job! I felt completely comfortable leaving my cats with her. She went out of her way to play with them and sent me the pictures, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. Thank you so much, Amy! I’ll definitely be booking with you again next time! 😊”

“I had a great experience with my cat sitter, Robin! She took excellent care of my cat Mochi—changing his litter, making sure he was fed, and even spending time playing with him. Mochi isn’t the most social cat, but I could tell he started to warm up to her, which says a lot. Robin also sent me regular pictures and videos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

“So glad that I found Rover ! Amanda and Isabella we're wonderful and helpful. This was the first time the boys had them for consecutive days and nights and they did a great job! I loved the communication the pictures the kindness and the patience....great service and care.”

“Katie watched our 7 month old Rottie and was super sweet and patient with him. Puppies are crazy and our Rottweiler pup is big and is still learning to walk appropriately with us. I absolutely recommend Katie to other pup parents!”

“Sarah was wonderful! She treated our dogs so well and kept in touch throughout. The updates were great! As an anxious pet parent, it was very comforting to see what they were up to. I can’t thank her enough for treating our dogs like her own and being so kind.”

“Bob does a great job taking care of our puppy while we’re at work! He makes sure our puppy gets lots of playtime and attention! Even on a snowy day, Bob made sure she got plenty of outside time 😊”

“Victoria has been great with Sierra. She was able to make a very shy 4 month old puppy feel comfortable and happy right away. Now Sierra gets so excited when Victoria comes to let her out, walk her and play with her. Communication has been great and she’s always on time to let Sierra out. Looking forward to Sierra having a long-term loving pet sitter.”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a child. I am a school psychologist and very in tune with animals and people and have a passion for taking care of others, especially dogs. I believe dogs truly make a house a home. I am off for the summer so have all day to take care of your pet. I enjoy walking and playing with dogs and would love to spend my summer with your fur baby. I have a fenced in yard. I have three teenage pet lovers who will also shower your dog with attention. I enjoy walking your dog if that is something your pet likes to do. I have a safe neighborhood with trails nearby. I will always be interested in your pet's personality. For example how they get along with other dogs and humans and I will always have their best interest in mind. I work full time but am off during the summer so I have plenty of time to play with your dog. During the school year I am not home from 7:30- 3:30 Monday - Friday. Howeyour family loves weekend visitors. I have a fenced in yard so your dog can play outside. I would like them to bring their own bed or crate so they feel secure at night.
“Michael continues to be the best! I love that our dogs enjoy their time whenever they get to see him. Thank you for always caring for our furry family. You are the absolute go to for our family!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, and taking care of them is second nature. I see Rover as a way to interact & keep them in my life while not having one of my own at home. I already routinely take 1 to 2 walks during my day, so the addition dog walking or sitting fits rights into my daily schedule now. In your home, I am clean, orderly, and can clearly follow all instructions given. You will find your fur baby and your home better off than you left them before
“Patrick, as always, was amazing! He has spoiled us & our pups which means as long as he is available to take care of our fur babies when we need someone, he will be the person we go to. Worth every penny and we honestly feel more relaxed with him taking care of our dogs then most of our family members (especially our lab pit mix, she is VERY protective about who comes into our home but since the first time she met Patrick she trusted him and he knows how to handle her when she gets overstimulated too. Match made in heaven lol) We’d never met Patrick before needing a pet sitter and this is our 4th or 5th time using him. We would die for our dogs so are very careful about who we let be alone with them and we do not hesitate to gi to Patrick. We really are so grateful to have found such a caring and compassionate person.”

About: I have several years of experience caring for dogs through Wag!, including puppies, adult, senior, and special needs dogs, and have built strong relationships with many repeat clients. 🐾 What sets me apart is my calm, attentive approach and focus on quality care. I take time to understand each dog’s routine, behavior, and comfort level to create a low-stress, structured environment where they can settle in easily. 🐾 I use positive reinforcement for basic training, am comfortable administering oral medications, and follow care instructions closely. This helps create a calm, low-stress environment, especially for dogs who may need time to adjust. I can crate dogs if needed and always prioritize safety and comfort. I’m attentive to each dog’s routine, behavior, and personality, and I provide regular updates with photos so you can feel confident while you’re away.

“Jacquelyn and Ryan arrived on time and immediately connected with my senior fur babies. They were gentle and kind to me (as I am recovering from surgery and can't do much yet) and to my dogs. I trusted them and look forward to using their services again soon!”
Orland Hills pet parents share their Rover experiences
Robin did a fantastic job checking-in and walking my dogs while I was out of town. She sent pictures of the pets while she was at the house and gave a summary of her visit once she left. I will definitely use her services in the future and recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and dependable person to look after their pets.

Marissa was amazing! I was nervous because this was our first time using Rover but as soon as I met Marissa I knew I had nothing to worry about and our fur babies would be well cared for. We had 4 drop in visits on one day and an early morning visit the next and Marissa always sent pictures and kept us updated. Our rottweiler plopped down in her lap the first time he met her and that says a lot! We will definitely use her again.
