“Kimberley was an awesome sitter for our pups. She shows that she truly cares and treated our dogs like her own. Would certainly recommend her to a friend, and hope to book her in the future!”
“A true life saver! We attempted to keep our dog at a pet friendly hotel while we went to a concert, but Noodle decided she was going to let the hotel guests know how much she missed us by barking. We thought for sure we'd have to listen to the concert from the parking lot or just not go all together. Kathy responded very quickly, super nice and accommodating . Thank you again!”

“Beth was amazing!! Our dog seemed to love being with her. She sent a lot of pictures and videos, which was very comforting. She played with him a ton and treated him like one of her own. We will definitely book with Beth again.”

“Desiree was incredibly accommodating to my dog's needs and very understanding of her anxiety. Since this was Bell-A’s first time being boarded, I was naturally nervous, but Desiree took excellent care of her and made the experience as stress-free as possible. She sent daily updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that Bell-A was in caring and capable hands. I truly appreciate the attention, patience, and love she showed my dog, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.”

“I really like Delilah’s sitter. She was nice and professional and I loved how she got her to feel comfortable with being there. Delilah has a stomach issue but the sitter sat with her and hand fed her. I would ofoved a lot more pictures but the ones she at made me feel comfortable with leaving her and knowing she was safe.”

“Christie was so wonderful! Very communicative and managed my dog’s thunderstorm and fireworks anxiety with such ease. I was able to enjoy a lovely weekend away knowing Rory was in good hands! Will definitely book with Christie again!”

“You and your family were truly wonderful. Thank you so much for embracing my fur baby and making him feel right at home. The constant reassurance, the beautiful pictures, and the updates meant more to me than you know. I could tell he was being loved and well cared for the entire time. You were also incredibly flexible and attentive, which I truly appreciate. I’m so grateful for the care you gave — we will definitely be back! A++++++++”

“I really want to say Big Thank You for taking care of my dog. This was first time for me to use dog sitter and I wa scared and unsure how this will work. And big Wow!!!! I received pictures every day and news about my dog. Lilliana was so nice from the beginning .I am very thankful for all that you did with my dog.Very very happy and I REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR WORK.Thank you so much for everything Kasia”

“Michelle and Christy are phenomenal!! They watched my energetic golden retriever for 11 days over the holidays. Having met them a few weeks prior to the extended Rover visit, it was clear that they are really great people, whose positive qualities directly translated into the great amount of care they provided for Mr. Chips during his stay. The amount of updates and open communication they were willing to provide throughout the stay also made a world of difference. Seeing chips having tons of fun totally removed any sense of the worry I would have had leaving him for the 11 days. To top it off, they have a huge fenced in back yard, perfect for doggies to run and play in - and 2 cute dogs for Mr. Chips to play with. 10 out of 10.”

“Iman is so lovely! I am a new dog mom of a 2 yr old husky that I adopted from the South Suburban Humane Society. I was nervous about leaving my dog as it was my first time leaving her with a sitter and I didn’t know how she’d react staying overnight with other dogs. Iman reassured me that everything would be fine and gave me updates. She even gave me samples of dog treats, that my KoKo loved. I’ll definitely use her services again.”

“Lynda is amazing. Asks good questions and puts forth extra effort to make sure Daisy is well taken care of. I’m so grateful to have found someone I can trust to be direct, manage expectations and keep my girl happy and healthy while I’m away. I keep coming back to Lynda because Daisy is happiest when she’s with her.”

“Nemo took to Kathleen right away. She kept him busy with walking and playing with her children. She is a dog lover! He is as in good hands. Sent several pics too. Would definitely ask her to sit again.”

“This family took incredible care of my dog, Atlas! This was my first time using rover and I will definitely use it again. Julie sent pictures of him daily having fun and playing with their other dogs. It was so comforting knowing he wasn't going to be crated all the time. He had a large fenced in yard, other dogs, and a great family to keep him happy. I would highly recommend this family!!! Awesome experience! ”

“This was my first time using Sharon and all went well. She sent photos and videos of Lily and took Lily on frequent walks. She was quick to respond to my texts. I really appreciate Sharon’s responsible and professional nature. And when I picked up Lily at the end of her stay, Sharon gifted her a bag of treats and toys and a thank you note! I will definitely use Sharon again.”
“Amy was AMAZING!!!!!! My dog was able to run outside, go on walks and car rides, he cuddled up on the couch. Amy gave me updates with pictures and videos, my family loved seeing how his vacation was going and we looked forward to seeing the friends he made”

“This was the first time we booked Magda. We were put at ease when we went on our week long vacation because of Magda’s professionalism and her love for animals and our dog. We will definitely be using her again.”

“We don’t board our dogs or have them watched outside of our home very often. When we do need help, it’s usually a family member or close friend staying at our house. Because of that, we were a little nervous about having them stay somewhere else, but Emily was absolutely wonderful! She was incredibly patient, loving, and kind with both of our dogs—especially our Labrador, who has become quite the homebody in his older years and needed a little extra time to adjust to being away from home. Emily handled it with so much patience and care, and we could tell she genuinely wanted him to feel comfortable and secure. When we picked them up, they were excited to see us but were clearly happy, comfortable, and well looked after. It’s obvious that Emily genuinely cares about the animals she watches and treats them like her own. We would absolutely recommend Emily to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter, and we would not hesitate to book with her again in the future. Thank you again, Emily, for taking such great care of our pups!”

“Karen did a great job caring for our family sphynx cat Rocco! She sends me updates often and I can see her experience through them! Definitely recommend her! Thank you Karen! :)”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐✨ We had a last minute worry about our cat sitting situation so I went on Rover for the first time. We were gone for a few weeks and felt really bad for the cats. We feel so lucky to have found Lisa. She ended up spending more time with our cats than scheduled. She also was able to fix the schedule when we had to make a change. There are other things that helped our peace-of-mind like turning the porch light off each day and bringing the mail in so our home didn't look vacant. She cleaned up before leaving. She left detailed notes and sent cute photos daily of cuddling and playing with our cats :) We will definitely reach out to Lisa for our cat sitting in the future.”

About: I have a lot of experience with cat care over the years and have taken care of felines with many different personalities. I am a pet parent to my own beloved kitty and understand that each cat is unique in their needs!

“Thank you so much Suzanne for taking such wonderful care of my cats. I’m incredibly grateful for how far beyond your duties you went, it truly gave me peace of mind during my trip, knowing they were in such good hands. Thank you 🙏”

About: I grew up on a farm and we've always had 3 dogs and 2 cats along with a plethora of other animals. I know how to ensure safety and have a clear head when things go awry. I absolutely adore dogs and cats of all ages and can competently take care of any range of behaviors.

About: As a cat-mom to one very attached cat (and two high-effort dogs), I know how important it is to have a reliable plan in place when you inevitably need to leave your babies. I’ve professionally cared for animals since I was 16, starting as a Junior Volunteer at PAWS Tinley Park. When I moved downtown for college, I transitioned to PAWS in Lincoln Park and the Anti-Cruelty Society. Through these opportunities, I learned the immense patience, hard work, and empathy it takes to care for animals of all kinds and at every stage of life. From abandoned newborn kittens to senior cats awaiting a home to live out their golden years, I was touched by every animal who trusted me with their care. There is no better feeling than watching a shy or nervous cat slowly grow to trust you and feel safe in your presence. My goal when caring for your cat is to give them the same love, patience, and attention I would want someone to give my own. I understand that every cat has their own personality, routine, and boundaries — and I’m happy to meet them wherever they are. Whether your cat wants playtime, cuddles, enrichment, a freshly cleaned litter box, or simply someone to quietly keep them company, I’ll take the time to learn what makes them comfortable and keep their routine as consistent as possible. I know how hard it can be to leave your pets behind, and I want you to feel confident knowing your cat is safe, cared for, and genuinely loved while you’re away.

About: Cats are my specialty! I have been caring for cats since I was a child and have had many cats of my own as an adult. I've cared for cats with varying personalities and temperaments. I also have experience caring for cats with special needs, including experience administering medications. I'm comfortable giving rach cat the patience, attention, and care they need to feel safe and comfortable.

About: I have a soft spot for cats and feel extra lucky to be able to care for them as a job. I have experience doing drop in visits while also having my own cat. I also have experience administrating medicine for cats of all spicy levels.

About: My fur baby has been with me for 22 years and she is still going strong. As she has gotten older I understand she needs more, even if that means turning on the water in my tub for her every time she meows for it, even at the crack of dawn.

“Finn has been absolutely fantastic with my pup Bowser! Very flexible, clear communication, and attentive!! Bowser is high anxiety so having someone that he’s super comfortable with gives me all the confidence!!”
“Katie was so helpful looking after our fosters and senior cat while we were out of town. She played with them and gave them extra attention which they loved! We came home to such a happy household, it was like we never left! Thank you for all the care and love you spent here”
About: I’ve been surrounded by pets all my life, being there for them is all I know now. I made it my passion to be caring of them. I recently left a dog daycare looking for a better way to make dogs comfortable while knowing they aren’t under any other rules than the ones in their very own home. I also am loving the idea of them all getting their own special treatment. I am willing to do early mornings or late nights I’m free all around. I just want every dog or cat to be satisfied. I usually wake up and walk outside to make sure I’m getting proper sunlight and one thing about a pet is they are always down for outside time. I’ll make sure your dog eats and gets hydration in the morning and take them outside to use the bathroom relax or play in the next 30 to 45 minutes for about a hour or two, if it is too hot outside I won’t have them out too long and I will make sure they cool off before giving them water. Your dog will always be safe and okay in my hands I’m very attentive
About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, and taking care of them is second nature. I see Rover as a way to interact & keep them in my life while not having one of my own at home. I already routinely take 1 to 2 walks during my day, so the addition dog walking or sitting fits rights into my daily schedule now. In your home, I am clean, orderly, and can clearly follow all instructions given. You will find your fur baby and your home better off than you left them before

“AWESOME SITTER - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Will be very happy to use Lynda again! I contacted Lynda the day before I was going for a spontaneous day trip to Michigan and she agreed to a last-minute booking for my dog Bob. Lynda was so gracious and invited Bob & me over to meet her, her husband, and their daughter's dog, Teddy. I was so thrilled Bob had a playmate for the day and the two pups got along very well! Lynda & Mark are fantastic people and even said to drop Bob off that night so I could start out early the next morning! Wow, did I appreciate that as it certainly made it easy for me! Lynda checked in with me the next day and all was well with Bob! I truly appreciated the update on my boy, Bob! My day trip ended up going a little later than planned and when I contacted Lynda to let her know I'd be late, she was wonderful! I felt genuinely fortunate to have Lynda and her husband watching Bob! Bob seemed very happy & content staying with them and I was extremely comfortable with this hospitable couple. I would highly recommend Lynda & Mark in a heartbeat and won't hesitate to have them watch Bob again!”

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong dog lover with over 10 years of professional experience working with dogs in veterinary clinics, doggie daycares, and grooming salons. Dogs have always been one of my greatest passions. I truly enjoy getting to know each dog's unique personality, whether they're a goofy puppy, an energetic adventure buddy, a shy rescue, or a senior who prefers a slower pace. One of my favorite parts of this work is building trust with dogs and watching them become excited to see me. As a pet parent myself, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your dog. My goal is to provide the same level of care, patience, and attention that I would want for my own pets. Whether your dog enjoys a structured walk, extra sniffing time, playtime, or simply companionship during the day, I'll tailor my care to their individual needs. When your dog is with me, they're not just another appointment on my schedule—they're a member of the family. My most recent job with dogs was at a daycare for several years. I supervised dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. This experience gave me extensive knowledge of canine body language, play styles, and behavior. I learned how to safely manage group interactions, recognize early signs of tension, and help dogs remain comfortable and successful in social environments. In my free time, you'll usually find me out walking with my own dogs, taking my kids to their activities, discovering new music, or learning about native plants and wildlife! My current schedule includes dog walking, volunteering at an animal shelter, and taking care of my two wonderful sons. Thursdays are a busy day with activities with them so those days are currently closed for my schedule. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and some Fridays are available to book. I am comfortable with whatever instructions you give me and what your preferences are whether it be letting them out in your yard, sitting down and hanging out with them, letting them sniff around, or taking them for a more structured walk.
About: As an owner of a senior puppy-mill-rescued beagle, I'm familiar with some of the difficulties some pets may face in their day to day lives. Pet solutions aren't just one size fits all- and adapting my care style to fit your pet's goals and personality is my specialty. From high energy play sessions to long naps in the yard, I look to give your pet the best experience I can. I'm currently working part time, but my hours are fairly flexible. I have open availabilities on weekdays, specifically mornings, but if your pet needs a little extra attention, I'm more than happy to make more room! I'm available for dog walking, daily visits, and overnight stays for any pet that may need a friend while their main person is away. With over 3 years of professional pet experience (and many more years of being a dog owner) I believe your furry friends deserve the highest care and attention when their people are away. I have experience in dog walking, medicine distribution, behavior analysis, and animal enrichment and engagement. My experience working in an animal shelter gives me a wide view of the different perspectives and angles that care can show up in.
About: I've grown up with a yorkie (family dog). Within the last year I adopted a dog of my own. He's a black lab/australian shepherd mix who has become my best friend. He's unfortunately living with my parents for the summer which is why I'm hoping to hangout with some furry friends! As of now, I have not yet established a work schedule. I have more availability to care for pets during the day, but also willing to care for them at night depending on my schedule! I cannot care for pets at my house, but I am open to other options! I love going on walks and staying active! I would care for your furry friend the same as I would care for mine!
About: I've worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility where I cleaned, fed, bathed, and medicated dogs of all kinds. Friends and family know that I'm their go-to pet/housesitter. I've had three dogs in my life, one after the other, so I've never been without a furry companion. I've even had strangers tell me that I have a welcoming and open aura when it comes to animals. I would love to meet your fur baby <3 I am currently working a full-time job on 2nd shift, from 3 pm - 12 am on weekdays. Looking to go back to school soon and earn my master's. I feel good with adapting to new environments and agree with the choice of keeping the pet where they are most comfortable, their home. My family and I did the same. I'm very particular and overly sensitive when it comes to people going through my stuff ( for example, like in a dorm room), so I respect people's homes and their belongings.
About: I have experience grooming and administrating medicine to furry friends that don't enjoy the process. Big or small, quiet or loud, friendly or shy I accept all pets and treat them as if they were my own. I babysit full time which includes pet sitting. I have open availability to take last minute bookings. I have the luxury to do this full time and love to work with peoples schedules. I have a fur baby named Micheal Jackson. He is a 5 year old long haired cat. He gets fed a variety of different foods to maintain a healthy diet. Plenty of enrichment activities, and soon a new fur friend?
“Mia has been so good with our energetic pup, she keeps us informed about how she does on her daily walk and even has spent a little extra time playing with her when she could. So happy we found her, she truly loves dogs and loves taking care of them!”
“Another great week with Victoria! Maisy can be hesitant towards new people and will be stubborn when going on walks. Maisy has no problem with Victoria, I bet Maisy would walk for miles with Victoria!”

For example how they get along with other dogs and humans and I will always have their best interest in mind. I work full time but am off during the summer so I have plenty of time to play with your dog. During the school year I am not home from 7:30- 3:30 Monday - Friday. Howeyour family loves weekend visitors. I have a fenced in yard so your dog can play outside. I would like them to bring their own bed or crate so they feel secure at night.

To top it off, they have a huge fenced in back yard, perfect for doggies to run and play in - and 2 cute dogs for Mr. Chips to play with. 10 out of 10.”

“Nemo took to Kathleen right away. She kept him busy with walking and playing with her children. She is a dog lover! He is as in good hands. Sent several pics too. Would definitely ask her to sit again.”

“Viktoria and her husband did an amazing job with our anxious hound! She sent daily updates and pictures, and her communication was phenomenal. He was definitely spoiled when with her, and it really brought comfort to us while we were away to know he was in such good hands. He went on multiple walks and she even let him sleep with them when he jumped into their bed in the middle of the night! She will absolutely be our first choice for dog sitting in the future. I highly recommend her and couldn’t be more pleased with her services.”

“Amy was our first time using Rover. She was so patient with us. She allowed us enough time to drop him off & watch him get use to the new environment & updated us often with pictures!! Hank had the best time, from playing in the fenced in backyard to making friends with her sweet dog. We definitely recommend Amy!”

“Had another wonderful experience with Ken and his family! The daily pictures and videos help you feel connected. The love and care that Roo received was outstanding! I wish we could give them 100 stars!”

“Megan was amazing! Our dog can be high energy and has separation anxiety but she accepted him like her own. Megan gave our dog Miller a lovely vacation filled with lots of fun with his new pal Nala. Highly recommend :).”

“I am so glad to have had the pleasure to meet Stefanie. I was in a real bind trying to find a last minute sitter for my dog Shelby. Although I was a bit nervous because my dog usually travels with me, Stefanie assured me that all would be OK. I left feeling totally comfortable and confident that I would be leaving Shelby in good hands. Except for a small hiccup in times, everything was GREAT!! I would definitely recommend and l, will for sure be using her again. Thanks Stefanie!!”

“Wow! I am so thankful that Jennifer was able to watch my dogs this weekend. She is incredible! It is very clear she has a deep love for animals. She was so kind and gentle and understanding. She has a fenced yard so the dogs could run around and play. Her son was so amazing! He takes after his mom with his love for animals. I highly recommend them! You will not be disappointed. I felt at ease knowing they were with someone so loving.”

“Amber did such a wonderful job caring for my senior dog! She was incredibly attentive to all of the instructions I provided, including her medication schedule, feeding routine, and outdoor needs. She also sent thoughtful daily updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that my pup was in great hands, and I’m so grateful for the care and attention she provided. I would happily book with her again in the future!”

“Susseth was great, asked a lot of questions in the beginning to get to know my dog and even made time for a meet and greet as this was our first time taking our dog to someone else’s house. She also sent videos to let us know it was going well.”
