Because of that, we were a little nervous about having them stay somewhere else, but Emily was absolutely wonderful! She was incredibly patient, loving, and kind with both of our dogs—especially our Labrador, who has become quite the homebody in his older years and needed a little extra time to adjust to being away from home. About: I've worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility where I cleaned, fed, bathed, and medicated dogs of all kinds. Friends and family know that I'm their go-to pet/housesitter. About: I currently have a 10.5 year old Golden Retriever named Nala. I don’t have a fenced in yard so we spend a lot of time going for long walks. I have had dogs my whole life and love to spend time with them. I'm a very nurturing person and I would make sure that your dog feels at home while they enjoy their visit with us. My dog gets along very well with other dogs so having an extra companion around for Nala would be great. I will make sure that your dog gets the attention and care that he/she needs ! I am a high school teacher, so right now I am gone from about 7-330 each day - but we take a nice walk in the morning before I leave & then go for several walks throughout the remainder of the day. Dogs at my house are allowed on all furniture and free range of the house for their convenience! If your dog is not potty trained, I will request a crate to be brought over while I am out of the house.

We have American Red Cross CPR class, for dogs, two times a year at our dog grooming salon. All dogs must be potty trained to go outside. Puppy pad trained dogs are not accepted. Diapers on dogs are not accepted. Thank you for considering us to care for your fur baby while your away. One of us stays in your home with your fur babies over night. We do have to go to work during the day. We do our best to try to keep your pet’s routine the same. We care for the client’s dogs in their home and follow whatever instructions we are given. It is up to the client on what they would like us to do.

I am available to care for pets during both weekdays and weekends, and I can provide plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I live in a secure apartment building with controlled access and a safe environment. There are several nearby parks and walking areas where your pet can enjoy regular exercise, enrichment, and outdoor time. I typically accept only one pet (or pets from the same family) at a time. I do not board pets from different households together, which helps prevent conflicts, anxiety, and unnecessary stress. This allows me to give each pet my full attention and ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and at home during their stay.

Because of that, we were a little nervous about having them stay somewhere else, but Emily was absolutely wonderful! She was incredibly patient, loving, and kind with both of our dogs—especially our Labrador, who has become quite the homebody in his older years and needed a little extra time to adjust to being away from home. Emily handled it with so much patience and care, and we could tell she genuinely wanted him to feel comfortable and secure. When we picked them up, they were excited to see us but were clearly happy, comfortable, and well looked after. It’s obvious that Emily genuinely cares about the animals she watches and treats them like her own. For active dogs, I offer walks, structured play, mental enrichment, obstacle work, and appropriate exercise. I also have a dog-powered slat mill for conditioning experienced dogs when appropriate and with the owner’s approval. Dogs have access to a secure, fully fenced area and safe kennel accommodations when resting or during supervised rotations. If you’re interested in training, I also offer structured training programs for an additional fee. Training can include leash manners, obedience, confidence building, engagement, and customized goals based on your dog’s needs. Each training dog follows a consistent daily routine designed to encourage good habits while keeping the experience positive and rewarding. My goal is to provide a safe, enriching, and well-structured environment where every dog receives the attention, exercise, and care they deserve.
