We feel so lucky to have found Lisa. She ended up spending more time with our cats than scheduled. She also was able to fix the schedule when we had to make a change. There are other things that helped our peace-of-mind like turning the porch light off each day and bringing the mail in so our home didn't look vacant. She cleaned up before leaving. She left detailed notes and sent cute photos daily of cuddling and playing with our cats :) We will definitely reach out to Lisa for our cat sitting in the future.”

About: As a lifelong animal lover with years of experience in pet care, I understand that every pet has their own unique needs. I pride myself on having a strong sense of animal behavior and adjusting care accordingly to each individual pet’s temperament. I have a great deal of experience with senior pets and/or pets with a strict medication regimen. I understand that these animals often need additional patience and compassion and I am always striving to reliably provide such care. This includes administering edible, topical, and injectable medications. I have experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes as well as cats and small animals (birds, fish, reptiles, etc) so you can rest assured that your beloved critters are in good hands! I do my best to be communicative so I am always willing to discuss any additional details or concerns with my clients. My main goal in pet care is to provide reliable and respectful service that keeps your furry friend happy and gives you peace of mind in knowing they are properly cared for while you are away. I am extremely flexible with scheduling which means I will be available to do reoccurring visits or extended pet sitting if need be. As well as pet sitting I am more than happy to take on other house-sitting responsibilities such as watering plants and bringing in mail/packages. About: As a pet-mom to two high-effort dogs and a very attached cat, I know how important it is to have a reliable plan in place when you inevitably need to leave your babies. I’ve professionally cared for animals since I was 16, starting at PAWS Tinley Park as Jr. Volunteer. When I moved downtown for college, I transitioned to the PAWS in Lincoln Park and Chicago Anit-Cruelty Society. From these opportunities, I learned the immense patient, hard work and empathy it requires to care for pets of all kinds and at all life stages. From abandoned new born kittens to senior dogs awaiting a home to live out their golden years, I was touched by every single animal who trusted me with their care. There is no better feeling than watching an animal grow to trust you and feel safe when you’re around. My goal when caring for your pet is to give them the same love, patience, and attention I would want someone to give my own. I know how hard it can be to leave your pets behind, especially when they’re such an important part of your family. Whether it’s a walk around the neighborhood, cleaning a litter box, or an extended sleepover, I’ll take the time to learn their routines, understand their personalities, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Your pets deserve to feel at home even when you’re not there, and I’d be honored to give them that care. I currently have a full-time job, but work from home and make my own hours. I have an incredibly flexible schedule, and can be available for short check ins throughout the day, or move my “office” to your home to keep your pets company through the workday. I have a fully-fenced backyard with tons of grass. I have multiple areas in my house where your pet can interact with my two dogs only, with my cat only, or be completely separated with their own space. About: Hi my name is Asia. I’m really excited to have extra income but I’m more in it for the loving animals. Animals are my life! I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets to care for. I have two bearded dragons, two cats, one dog, and one fish. In the mornings I go to the gym and after I’m pretty much open throughout the day until school starts, which is in the beginning of January. Feeding and watering animals,Playing with them and keeping them company, Walking the dogs, Grooming and brushing the animals' coats, Changing the cat's litter box, Providing health care if necessary. Giving them affection, so they don't feel abandoned after their owner leaves.

“Erica has babysat our cat Domino in our home several times now. Domino is a cat that we took several months to rescue earlier this year. Consequently, she is shy and a bit skittish around new people. She bonded with Erica almost immediately! Erica has two cats of her own, so she knows a lot about them and their finicky nature. Erica has a warm and caring nature that comes across in the way that she communicates with Domino. She calls Domino her niece! Erica is fastidious with Domino’s litter box and feeds her twice daily. She sends us regular posts and updates regarding Domino’s antics. Erica spends time with Domino and plays with her. “I give Iman 5 stars times 20. This is my first time using Rover and I selected Iman for home drop in visits for the week I was on work related travel. To say I was nervous is an understatement. However, from the time I met Iman I knew she was the right choice. I perceived her to be a gentle, compassionate and honest person. This was important to me considering the temperament of my fur babies. One is a rescue due to abuse and none have ever been border and I wanted them to stay in the comfort of their own home. Yes I got that vibe from just meeting her. Very positive ora and energy. Iman exceeded my expectation. My 4 fur babies took to her right away and she cared for them as I would. You can tell this is not just work for Iman it’s what she loves. She absolutely has a love for and way with animals.t antisocial cats were even drawn to her. She made sure the house was locked and secured each time and that the alarm was set. I will definitely continue to utilize her services for my fur babies. About: I have had and been around dogs since I was a child. Dogs seem to come to me naturally; without fear or hesitation. I honestly believe this is because I approach them with ease and am not forceful. It seemed like a natural step for me to join the Rover community. Ive also been a dog owner and currently have Jazzy who is my beloved Boston Terrier Mix with a big personality and sweet nature. Jazzy and I chose each other and its been an adventure ever since day one! she loves everyone but at times can be a little bossy. I'm well aware of who runs the household! I pride myself on ensuring that Jazzy stays healthy by giving her quality food and treats, Along with that she enjoys her fenced in yard and takes daily walks. We have lots of playtime and cuddles. I'll treat your dog as I would my own. That is my motto as I don't want you to worry or be concerned when you are away from your precious fur baby. I can't replace you, or would never try but rest assured your pet will receive all my tender loving care. I have had the opportunity to care for some dogs on Rover who have become regular clients. The owners have told me that they reach out to me first and hope that I am available. That is a huge compliment and I'm honored that I made such an impact on their four legged friend. All the pets I have met have their own unique personality and what I do as a sitter is simply take them for who they are which includes any little quirks. Canine or human, we all possess them.
