About: Managed a private dog walking service that served clientele throughout Chicago for over seven years. Well-trusted and frequently called on by clients to housesit and fulfill other errands as needed. I currently have open availability as I’m taking self-paced, online courses through the end of spring toward my transfer degree in communication and media studies. I have worked with a variety of breeds from Maltipoos to Alaskan Malamutes, and I can adapt to meet the needs of your pet. I have plenty of experience working with difficult dogs that require extra attention and care, and I’m happy to take on any extra measures you need to feel secure in your choice of dog walker.
About: I've had dogs and cats growing up. Taking care of them was not only a responsibility, but a joy! My husband and I have 4 cats, but love both cats and dogs. I work full-time, but I work from home. My hours and schedule are flexible, which give me plenty of time for dog, cat, and house sitting. Currently, I am only accepting jobs where I do drop in visits. We have 4 cats and they have lived with other cats and a dog before, but I want to start out before introducing them to other pets.
“Hi, Diamari has been a pet owner for years, her love and care for her dog is admirable. She adopted him from a shelter and lovingly cared for him while he was sick and went above and beyond to ensure he felt safe and loved. She is responsible, loving and a remarkable person.”
About: I'm a lifelong animal lover. I have worked as a vet tech caring for dogs and cats. Our family has had a farm with horses, chickens, goats, honeybees, dogs and cats for years. I have spent some years doing dog training. Currently we have furry family members that include dogs, cats, and freshwater fish.. I am flexible with animal services provided based around you and your pet's particular needs. Whether that is walking, in home care, or overnights - no matter the size. I would love to care for your pet and offer you peace of mind in the meantime. I am able to walk, feed, exercise, trim nails in a kind, calm and structured manner. If special care is needed, like medicating or transporting, I am able to offer these services as well. Pet care is my primary job outside of my family. Prioritizing care is my promise. From feeding, to letting them out in the fenced yard, to walks your fur babies will be well loved and cared for. I have two dogs of my own who love to invite others to the pack. I am very conscientious on integrating pets so that they will feel safe and comfortable in our home and with our crew.
About: Ive always had a love for animals, there was never a time my house didn’t have at least one. I have taken in strays, fosters and cared for friends and families dogs when in need and they always bring them back. I currently work Tuesday and Thursday evening and go to church on Saturdays. I am usually home otherwise so I will have plenty of time to care for your pets, play and take them out. I am very flexible and can fit the needs depending on your pet. I am always attentive when caring for any animal and am good at following plans and schedules that they have. I am able to take dogs out and or walk them. I have an enthusiastic cane corso myself so I am very use to larger animals and can handle many behaviors even if needing to work on them.
“I’m so happy we were referred to Cindy! Today was the first time she was helped us and my dog turned into a hot mess :) Poor Cindy was just going to let her out for 30 minutes so she wouldn’t be in the crate too long without a break. Instead, due to a serious of minor mishaps our girl caused, Cindy ended up having to clean up multiple messes (in an unfamiliar house no less) and then took her for a walk to calm her down and get her back in the crate without stressing her out. She filled me in on everything that happened and even offered to check on her again before we got home, if we needed. She was so nice despite all the chaos and even complimented our Belle (she’s a handful, but a sweet one!) I highly recommend Cindy!!”

“Lisa is an excellent caretaker and sitter, very friendly, personable and professional. Our cats were healthy, happy and not upset or shy like they’ve been in the past when we would go away on vacation — she treated them like her own family. Will definitely count on Lisa again in the future.”

“Kiana did an awesome job taking care of my pets for 8 days while I was on vacation. This is the first time that I have used Rover and it was great. I have three cats, a bunny, and a hamster. Kiana sent me pictures after each visit and my pets seemed to be happy when I got back home!”
“JeTaun was Outstanding! She even won over our crabby Tabby who barely tolerates us. She was very professional and communicative and we will absolutely be using her services again!”
“Erika was a wonderful sitter! She was flexible, easy to communicate with, and did a great job with our pup. She sent photos and updates. Our dog is a little timid, but just a few minutes into the visit she was happy and off on a walk. I would definitely recommend Ericka!”

Through my previous dog-sitting experiences, I have gained valuable insights into handling different breeds, temperaments, and specific requirements that dogs may have. Moreover, my passion for dogs drives me to go the extra mile in providing exceptional care. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs, engaging in various activities that keep them mentally and physically stimulated. I understand that weekends can be busy times for pet owners, and I am committed to being there for you and your pets whenever you need me. Whether it's a few hours of pet sitting or an entire day of care, I can adjust my schedule to accommodate your specific requirements. I believe in maintaining open communication and transparency with pet owners. By discussing your needs and availability in advance, we can work together to create a pet care plan that suits your schedule and ensures your pets receive the attention and care they deserve When caring for pets in an owner's home, there are several key aspects that I prioritize to ensure the well-being and happiness of the animals: safety, trust, environment, enrichment, and attention. First and foremost, safety is of utmost importance. I take great care to create a secure environment for the pets under my care. This includes being mindful of potential hazards in the home, such as toxic substances, loose wires, or open windows, and taking necessary precautions to eliminate or minimize any risks. I make sure to familiarize myself with emergency procedures and contact information provided by the owner, ensuring that I am prepared to handle any unexpected situations that may arise. Establishing trust with both the pets and their owners is crucial. I understand that pets may initially feel anxious or uneasy with a new person in their home. Therefore, I approach them with patience, respect, and a calm demeanor. I allow them to set the pace of our interaction, gradually building trust through gentle and positive reinforcement. Similarly, maintaining open and clear communication with the owners helps foster trust, as I provide regular updates on their pet's well-being, activities, and any notable changes or concerns. Creating a comfortable and stimulating environment is essential for the pets' overall happiness. I ensure that their basic needs are met, such as providing fresh food and water, maintaining cleanliness in their living areas, and following any specific dietary instructions. I pay attention to their preferred routines, whether it's specific feeding times, exercise routines, or playtime activities, to help them feel at ease. Additionally, I strive to maintain a calm and peaceful atmosphere in the home, minimizing any disruptions that may cause stress to the pets. Enrichment plays a vital role in keeping pets mentally and physically stimulated. I engage with the pets through interactive play sessions, puzzle toys, and activities that cater to their specific breed or species needs. Whether it's a game of fetch, hide-and-seek, or teaching them new tricks, I aim to provide a variety of enriching experiences that prevent boredom and promote their overall well-being. Lastly, I ensure that pets receive ample attention and affection. I understand that animals thrive on companionship and social interaction. I spend quality time with them, providing cuddles, petting, and grooming as needed. I adapt to their individual personalities and preferences, offering the attention and love they crave
“Zakiya is the best! She takes great care of my dog, Barry, when I’m away and showers him with love. Her apartment is his home away from home. I can’t recommend her highly enough!”
About: I’m my family, I was the one who cared for the animals all the time. I bathed, cleaned, fed and played with them all the time. I am unemployed and in school, so if I was able to be away from my own pets to be with a variety of other different pets I’d be satisfied with happiness everyday. In my home they’ll be cared for by being fed, being played with. Cuddles during a nap and outside playing of course. I can’t wait to spend time with different types of dogs and cats.
“Marissa was great! She arrived on time to meet my little pups before I went out of town, and also arrived on time the day I scheduled for her to come let them out. She played with them, took them for a walk, fed them, and changed out a potty pad.”

I have a fenced yard and two very friendly fixed female dogs that are here to keep your baby company. I can also crate your dog or mine if necessary. I have multiple crates and a kennel aside from the yard plus the home to get around in.
“Haley was very good with my mini dachshund Sadie! Sadie has some separation anxiety and has a hard time being away from me. Sadie was very comfortable during her stay and Haley made sure to keep me updated throughout the day on how she was doing. I could tell Sadie had a great time and she didn't want to leave! I will definitely have Haley watch her again in the future.”
