I pride myself on having a strong sense of animal behavior and adjusting care accordingly to each individual pet’s temperament. I have a great deal of experience with senior pets and/or pets with a strict medication regimen. I understand that these animals often need additional patience and compassion and I am always striving to reliably provide such care. This includes administering edible, topical, and injectable medications. I have experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes as well as cats and small animals (birds, fish, reptiles, etc) so you can rest assured that your beloved critters are in good hands! I do my best to be communicative so I am always willing to discuss any additional details or concerns with my clients. My main goal in pet care is to provide reliable and respectful service that keeps your furry friend happy and gives you peace of mind in knowing they are properly cared for while you are away. I hope that I get to meet you and your pets very soon! Pet care is currently my main focus so my weekly schedule is almost always open. I am extremely flexible with scheduling which means I will be available to do reoccurring visits or extended pet sitting if need be. I have my own transportation so I am happy to make visits that are a bit out of my area as well. I have worked in professional pet care for 7+ years which has including both daily dog walking and overnight house-sitting. Being respectful of my client’s pets and their homes is of utmost importance to me. As well as pet sitting I am more than happy to take on other house-sitting responsibilities such as watering plants and bringing in mail/packages. “Erica has babysat our cat Domino in our home several times now. Domino is a cat that we took several months to rescue earlier this year. Consequently, she is shy and a bit skittish around new people. She bonded with Erica almost immediately! Erica has two cats of her own, so she knows a lot about them and their finicky nature. Erica has a warm and caring nature that comes across in the way that she communicates with Domino. She calls Domino her niece! Erica is fastidious with Domino’s litter box and feeds her twice daily. She sends us regular posts and updates regarding Domino’s antics. Erica spends time with Domino and plays with her. We miss Domino when we are gone, but never worry that she will be too lonely without us. We feel secure when we are away. We trust Erica with having the keys to our home. We have the utmost confidence that Erica will take great care of our fur baby.”
