I’ve taken care of animals for over 10 years, including my own dog, and I’ve been a sitter for Rover for a couple years now. I have taken some general courses on animal care which covered the basics for small mammals, reptiles, and birds. I’ve also had hands-on experience caring for parrots, Uromastyx, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, dogs, and cats. I have experience sitting and walking reactive dogs as well.

Rachel is an absolute angel. She got back me to quickly about a last minute emergency boarding for the weekend and set me at ease immediately. Honey's a new addition who has never been left alone, and being a sitter myself, it was difficult being on the customer side for once haha. But she provided so many great pictures and updates on Honey's progress while there, it was a godsend to know she was so well taken care of <3 I almost don't want to recommend her cause I want her available 😂 But absolutely go with Rachel, she's the best! I know I will continue to!
Rachel & family are the best! My dog Sierra is always so happy to arrive at their home. Rachel sends great photos from the visit. These folks are responsible and kind!
We're so glad we got Rachel to keep Winston. we've tried contacting her last summer but the timing wasn't right. When we finally did, we knew she was good. Winston really enjoyed himself and he looked like he was at home from the photos. We've felt so comfortable and happy from the contacts we've received from Rachel. Rachel was great. Tootsie is very skittish but didn’t run from her. She did a great job cleaning and feeding. She also exercises patience with my alarm situation. Next time, I’ll book longer visits to give Tootsie time to get to know her.

Schedule
My schedule is currently completely open! I plan to return to college later this year, and I will start working part-time before then; however, as of right now, pet sitting is my full-time priority.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a medium sized backyard surrounded by trees and gardens. None of the houses in my neighborhood have fences, but I do have multiple tie-outs to allow full, contained access to the backyard! If you want your pet crated, we can do that. We also have space for up to a large dog bed for your pet to sleep in the house! I only house one pet family at a time.
A typical day
We enjoy running around in the backyard, going on long walks through the neighborhood, and playing all sorts of games. It’s always nice to take a moment or two to relax on the couch together after a day of fun!
