He was warm, friendly, polite, and seemed to genuinely care about dogs, specifically pit bulls and related bully breeds. Bertoli seemed to feel right at home when we arrived at Danny's house, and I think he had a great time during his stay at Danny's. He even took Bertoli out running. Because of that, we were a little nervous about having them stay somewhere else, but Emily was absolutely wonderful! She was incredibly patient, loving, and kind with both of our dogs—especially our Labrador, who has become quite the homebody in his older years and needed a little extra time to adjust to being away from home. Emily handled it with so much patience and care, and we could tell she genuinely wanted him to feel comfortable and secure. When we picked them up, they were excited to see us but were clearly happy, comfortable, and well looked after. It’s obvious that Emily genuinely cares about the animals she watches and treats them like her own.
