About: I grew up with dogs, worked at PetSmart for many years, continued dog sitting professionally, and raised my own current dog, Gizmo, from 5 weeks old. I have gone through extensive training and I use that to help others with training issues when I can. I've been through various medical issues and found the appropriate care, including for a choking dog. I am an artist and like to photograph or draw they dogs I care for - have done separate pet portrait work not included with dog sitting. I like to try to really communicate with and understand each dog in their own circumstances. I have a dog park available just a short walk down the street. I have the ability to schedule working from home if needed. Typically, if you would like your dog to stay at my home, they will be sharing space with my dog, Gizmo. So please communicate if you need special consideration for alone time. I take walks or visit the dog park in the mornings. I typically work 10 to 6 Monday through Friday at an office, but can schedule days to work from home if a dog is staying and can not be left for a long period of time. My dog is Gizmo. He is okay with other dogs and will typically play a little outside and leave your dog to have their own space inside. You will need to discuss your situation with me if your dog needs alone time with me as I would need to address Gizmo's care under those circumstances. My house is on the smaller side, but the yard is fenced in and is reasonably sized. There is a dog door available to allow easy access to the yard. Dogs are allowed on couches and the bed in my home. I have one large crate if you would like your dog to use one. Each room can be closed off if separation is needed. If I am caring for a dog in another home, I need to take the same consideration for Gizmo. Please share your needs so we can adjust as necessary.

Since Kylo is diabetic it is especially important that he stays on his feeding schedule and receives his insulin injections on time, and Lauren is incredibly responsible and attentive to his needs. She provides multiple updates throughout the day, including pictures, detailed messages and even Wooftrax updates so I know how long his walks are. Kylo is very comfortable with her, and she does such a wonderful job of making him feel safe and cared for. I feel incredibly lucky to have found such a trustworthy and caring dog sitter for our baby. “Sharee was a GODSEND!!! An absolute a dream to work with from initial contact to meet & greet, to the drop-off, to pick-up: everything was simple, seamless and SO well in hand. Since our Morty has only been for an overnight stay once without either me/my husband or a family member he’s known a LONG time, my husband and I were concerned about leaving our boy behind while we were on vacation but Sharee put both of us at ease right away. Sharee is warm and friendly with a great vibe. You can tell she knows what she’s doing and is very comfortable and confident working with multiple dogs of varying sizes. Sharee definitely gives off “Alpha” energy, which is especially important because dogs need to know who’s running things in order to feel as well as actually BE safe and secure. She’s got a great back yard with lots of room for pups to run around in and sniff as well as a decent sized area that is still outdoors but parceled off if pups need separation for any reason. This way everyone gets fresh air without having to sacrifice safety. I love this. Morty (who normally is quite bashful when meeting new people) took to Sharee right away: I believe this was because she was so calm, decisive, yet loving and warm with all the other dogs that were there. Once he saw how happy/not stressed out all the other dogs seemed, Morty seemed to fold into the pack pretty seamlessly. Tails were wagging hard and fast all around— it was amazing! One thing I truly appreciated was on the evening when we dropped Morty off, Sharee met us at the car and SHE walked Morty into the house and I followed behind. This set the tone and served as a kind of “changing of the guard” insofar as signaling to Morty that he had to listen to HER from then on out. He got on board without issue (again, safety first: I. LOVE. IT.), and then she introduced him to the other dogs who would be his buddies during his stay (some he’d met during the meet and greet, one he hadn’t… all was well!) While we were away Sharee kept us updated throughout each day on how Morty was adjusting and what good mischief he and the others were getting into with sweet pictures and videos which were always appreciated. We also discovered that Sharee’s dog, King, and Morty are kindred spirits and became fast friends so that was great too! While Morty seemed happy to see us when we came to scoop him up when it was time to go, I’d be lying if I said he didn’t cry for a little bit on the car ride home when he realized King wasn’t coming too! 😂 All told, we could not have asked for a better experience and will MOST DEFINITELY be repeat customers!!! Sharee is AMAZING!!!!!”

About: I’ve owned dogs for over 15 years now. I treat my pets as family. I love all kinds of animals and you can trust that I will give them the best care. I am home 24/7 so I will have plenty of time to entertain your fur baby, take them for long walks and give them extra cuddles and belly rubs. I have a fenced in large backyard with plenty of room for your dog to run around. I have a small long haired mini dachshund that will keep your pet company.
