Because of that, we were a little nervous about having them stay somewhere else, but Emily was absolutely wonderful! She was incredibly patient, loving, and kind with both of our dogs—especially our Labrador, who has become quite the homebody in his older years and needed a little extra time to adjust to being away from home. Emily handled it with so much patience and care, and we could tell she genuinely wanted him to feel comfortable and secure. When we picked them up, they were excited to see us but were clearly happy, comfortable, and well looked after. “My wife and I recently rescued a puppy after making travel plans months earlier. Because our puppy Sophie was still too young for full vaccinations, we were not able to board her with a doggy daycare, and we didn’t have any friends or family available to care for her during our trip. We used Rover to find Teresa, and were grateful that we did. We met with her about 2 weeks before our trip, so she and our puppy could meet. The first meeting went well, and we were confident with our choice to have her take care our puppy during that visit. While Teresa had Sophie, she sent us regular updates, photos, and video of her playing and being happy. She helped reinforce the commands that were working on and assisted with continued leash and potty training. Sophie had a great time with Teresa, her dog Ollie, and grand-dog Dunkin. I recently left a dog daycare looking for a better way to make dogs comfortable while knowing they aren’t under any other rules than the ones in their very own home. I also am loving the idea of them all getting their own special treatment. I am willing to do early mornings or late nights I’m free all around. I just want every dog or cat to be satisfied. I usually wake up and walk outside to make sure I’m getting proper sunlight and one thing about a pet is they are always down for outside time. I’ll make sure your dog eats and gets hydration in the morning and take them outside to use the bathroom relax or play in the next 30 to 45 minutes for about a hour or two, if it is too hot outside I won’t have them out too long and I will make sure they cool off before giving them water. Your dog will always be safe and okay in my hands I’m very attentive

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a child. I am a school psychologist and very in tune with animals and people and have a passion for taking care of others, especially dogs. I believe dogs truly make a house a home. I am off for the summer so have all day to take care of your pet. I enjoy walking and playing with dogs and would love to spend my summer with your fur baby. I have a fenced in yard. I have three teenage pet lovers who will also shower your dog with attention. I enjoy walking your dog if that is something your pet likes to do. I have a safe neighborhood with trails nearby. I will always be interested in your pet's personality. For example how they get along with other dogs and humans and I will always have their best interest in mind. I work full time but am off during the summer so I have plenty of time to play with your dog. During the school year I am not home from 7:30- 3:30 Monday - Friday. Howeyour family loves weekend visitors. I have a fenced in yard so your dog can play outside. I would like them to bring their own bed or crate so they feel secure at night.
About: My husband and I own a dog grooming salon, in Orland park, which was owned by his family and has been in business for over 25 years. We have American Red Cross CPR class, for dogs, two times a year at our dog grooming salon. All dogs must be potty trained to go outside. Puppy pad trained dogs are not accepted. Diapers on dogs are not accepted. Thank you for considering us to care for your fur baby while your away. One of us stays in your home with your fur babies over night. We do have to go to work during the day. We do our best to try to keep your pet’s routine the same. We care for the client’s dogs in their home and follow whatever instructions we are given. It is up to the client on what they would like us to do.

I have experience working with Dogs, Cats, Rodents, Rabbits, Exotics, and Birds. I offer additional care for seniors pets (Ex: taking them on shorter more frequent walks) and pets who have health concerns. (Ex: Giving medications). Book with me and your pet will be in great hands! I am available 7 days a week! I offer Early morning walks, afternoon walks, evening walks, and night time walks. What ever time works for you most likely works for me! I live in an animal friendly apartment! I have a large kennel if your pet prefers to sleep in one. I have a big field of grass behind me for leash walks / play time.
About: I have minimal experience with cats but I can clean a litter, feed them and hey if your cat walks count me in! I am also very eager to learn I do have a full time job but I am available in the am from 6-7:30 or any time after 2:30. Times can be adjusted based on needs. I have no pets, I do have a large deck for potty breaks a huge lake to walk them around and and willing to and flexible to accept any social requests
About: I have an extensive history working and volunteering in the animal field. I’m currently an Animal Control Officer for a municipality.
