About: I’ve been a dog owner for many years, and my 15-year-old Pomeranian is a very special part of our family. He has been with us for so long that I honestly can’t imagine our home without him. I’m also a mom of three, so we have a busy but loving family home where pets are very much part of everyday life. My kids love dogs, and we’re used to having a furry member of the family around. Having a senior dog has taught me to be patient and pay attention to the little things. I know that older dogs sometimes need a little more rest, more frequent potty breaks, and extra care and attention. We also travel to Egypt and Serbia every year, and my Pomeranian has flown overseas with me many times. I know how much work it can be to travel with a dog, and I also know how hard it is to leave them behind. That’s actually one of the reasons I decided to offer boarding. I’ve had to leave my own dog with people I trusted, and even then, I knew he acted differently because I wasn’t there. I remember wondering if he was okay, if he was comfortable, and if someone was giving him the same attention I would. So when your dog stays with me, I want you to feel comfortable too. I’ll get to know your dog’s routine, personality, feeding schedule and what makes them happy and comfortable. I’ll keep you updated with pictures so you don’t have to wonder how they’re doing. We have a fenced backyard, and I’ll take dogs for daily walks on the beautiful 2-mile path around Stellwagen Farm, which is only a few minutes from our home. I’m a stay-at-home mom and am available pretty much all the time, which allows me to give dogs plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I recently left a dog daycare looking for a better way to make dogs comfortable while knowing they aren’t under any other rules than the ones in their very own home. I also am loving the idea of them all getting their own special treatment. I am willing to do early mornings or late nights I’m free all around. I just want every dog or cat to be satisfied. I usually wake up and walk outside to make sure I’m getting proper sunlight and one thing about a pet is they are always down for outside time. I’ll make sure your dog eats and gets hydration in the morning and take them outside to use the bathroom relax or play in the next 30 to 45 minutes for about a hour or two, if it is too hot outside I won’t have them out too long and I will make sure they cool off before giving them water. Dogs at my house are allowed on all furniture and free range of the house for their convenience! If your dog is not potty trained, I will request a crate to be brought over while I am out of the house.

About: Hi my name is Asia. I’m really excited to have extra income but I’m more in it for the loving animals. Animals are my life! I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets to care for. I have two bearded dragons, two cats, one dog, and one fish. In the mornings I go to the gym and after I’m pretty much open throughout the day until school starts, which is in the beginning of January. Feeding and watering animals,Playing with them and keeping them company, Walking the dogs, Grooming and brushing the animals' coats, Changing the cat's litter box, Providing health care if necessary. Giving them affection, so they don't feel abandoned after their owner leaves.
About: My husband and I own a dog grooming salon, in Orland park, which was owned by his family and has been in business for over 25 years. We have American Red Cross CPR class, for dogs, two times a year at our dog grooming salon. All dogs must be potty trained to go outside. Puppy pad trained dogs are not accepted. Diapers on dogs are not accepted. Thank you for considering us to care for your fur baby while your away. One of us stays in your home with your fur babies over night. We do have to go to work during the day. We do our best to try to keep your pet’s routine the same. We care for the client’s dogs in their home and follow whatever instructions we are given. It is up to the client on what they would like us to do.
About: I’ve grown up with all sorts of animals, I recently got a puppy and her training at home has been going great, I’ve taken care of many different breeds and ages, from puppies to senior dogs. I work for family part time and stay at home for the time being, I’m available for walks or potty breaks anytime during the week between 8am and 5pm When dealing with my own dogs potty breaks look like all of us going out at once, I don’t tend to leave dogs unsupervised unless told to do so, I love taking my dogs for walks and playing outside so good long walks are surely in store for your pups as well.
About: I have been raising and caring for animals for over 20 years. I have raised two dogs, one small and one large, since they were eight weeks old and trained both of them. I have also raised and cared for guinea pigs and gerbils. I have babysat for cats. I make sure to do a lot of research on the animals I care of to make sure they are getting the best care that they specifically need. I love helping and caring for animals. I am working from home starting June 2025 and am available 9 to 1:30 to leave and take care of animals outside my home. I am available for longer hours if the animal is at my house. I have a fenced yard and have one furry friend to keep yours company. I also have spaces throughout my home that are safe animal play spaces.

Having met them a few weeks prior to the extended Rover visit, it was clear that they are really great people, whose positive qualities directly translated into the great amount of care they provided for Mr. Chips during his stay.
