About: As a lifelong animal lover with years of experience in pet care, I understand that every pet has their own unique needs. I pride myself on having a strong sense of animal behavior and adjusting care accordingly to each individual pet’s temperament. I have a great deal of experience with senior pets and/or pets with a strict medication regimen. I understand that these animals often need additional patience and compassion and I am always striving to reliably provide such care. This includes administering edible, topical, and injectable medications. I have experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes as well as cats and small animals (birds, fish, reptiles, etc) so you can rest assured that your beloved critters are in good hands! I do my best to be communicative so I am always willing to discuss any additional details or concerns with my clients. My main goal in pet care is to provide reliable and respectful service that keeps your furry friend happy and gives you peace of mind in knowing they are properly cared for while you are away. Being respectful of my client’s pets and their homes is of utmost importance to me. As well as pet sitting I am more than happy to take on other house-sitting responsibilities such as watering plants and bringing in mail/packages. About: My husband and I own a dog grooming salon, in Orland park, which was owned by his family and has been in business for over 25 years. We have American Red Cross CPR class, for dogs, two times a year at our dog grooming salon. All dogs must be potty trained to go outside. Puppy pad trained dogs are not accepted. Diapers on dogs are not accepted. Thank you for considering us to care for your fur baby while your away. One of us stays in your home with your fur babies over night. We do have to go to work during the day. We do our best to try to keep your pet’s routine the same. We care for the client’s dogs in their home and follow whatever instructions we are given. It is up to the client on what they would like us to do.

About: I have been in this field for about 4 years so I can give medications if needed. I love my job, it’s very rewarding and I love all kinds of pets. Big, little, medium. I have always been a big lover of big dogs! I specialize in anxious dogs as I do have one of my own. I work full time 3 days a week 12 hour shifts Which gives me 4 days out of the week to enjoy my life and spend time with my pets as well. Our dogs in my home have free rage of the house. Water is out 24/7. They are constantly getting pets and play time with one of my family members.

About: I have experience taking care of my own personal cat and some experience with dogs as I had a dog from ages 10-20. I love both dogs and cats. Message me for availability as it changes every 3 weeks. I work full time but they are 12 hour shifts 3 days a week and rotate. I am able to do drop in visits/walks. I would treat the animals like they are my own. Animals give me a great deal of joy. I love learning new information about animals

About: I have had and been around dogs since I was a child. Dogs seem to come to me naturally; without fear or hesitation. I honestly believe this is because I approach them with ease and am not forceful. It seemed like a natural step for me to join the Rover community. Ive also been a dog owner and currently have Jazzy who is my beloved Boston Terrier Mix with a big personality and sweet nature. Jazzy and I chose each other and its been an adventure ever since day one! she loves everyone but at times can be a little bossy. I'm well aware of who runs the household! I pride myself on ensuring that Jazzy stays healthy by giving her quality food and treats, Along with that she enjoys her fenced in yard and takes daily walks. We have lots of playtime and cuddles. I'll treat your dog as I would my own. That is my motto as I don't want you to worry or be concerned when you are away from your precious fur baby. I can't replace you, or would never try but rest assured your pet will receive all my tender loving care. I have had the opportunity to care for some dogs on Rover who have become regular clients. The owners have told me that they reach out to me first and hope that I am available. That is a huge compliment and I'm honored that I made such an impact on their four legged friend. All the pets I have met have their own unique personality and what I do as a sitter is simply take them for who they are which includes any little quirks. Canine or human, we all possess them. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a child. I am a school psychologist and very in tune with animals and people and have a passion for taking care of others, especially dogs. I believe dogs truly make a house a home. I am off for the summer so have all day to take care of your pet. I enjoy walking and playing with dogs and would love to spend my summer with your fur baby. I have a fenced in yard. I have three teenage pet lovers who will also shower your dog with attention. I enjoy walking your dog if that is something your pet likes to do. I have a safe neighborhood with trails nearby. I will always be interested in your pet's personality. For example how they get along with other dogs and humans and I will always have their best interest in mind. I work full time but am off during the summer so I have plenty of time to play with your dog. During the school year I am not home from 7:30- 3:30 Monday - Friday. Howeyour family loves weekend visitors. I have a fenced in yard so your dog can play outside. I would like them to bring their own bed or crate so they feel secure at night.

About: I have had a lifelong passion for animal care, supported by years of hands-on experience with both my own pets and others’. I have my cat, Wrigley, and my dog, Spencer (an energetic and reactive Australian Shepherd/Lab mix) which I got at 16. Working closely with Spencer has given me valuable experience handling large, high-energy dogs and managing reactive or challenging behaviors. In addition to caring for my own pets, I am a trusted pet sitter for my sister-in-law, a veterinary technician who takes in dogs that require special care. About: I’m a UCSC student with an active, eco-conscious lifestyle, and love for community. My engagement with animals is patient, assertive, and attentive to their needs. I love long walks on Santa Cruz’s beautiful coastline! I regularly commute to campus by public transport/bicycle. As long as it’s local I can visit your pets! For house sitting over 2 miles from my home I’ll ask for a transportation cost depending on the duration, approx $25/week. I have a fenced yard around my ground level backyard studio that’s clean and cozy for overnight stays. On the other side of the fence is a friendly golden retriever.
