Your dog will be treated like family here — and I know how important it is to feel at ease when you can’t be with them. My goal is simple: a happy, comfortable pup and peace of mind for you. I love dogs of all breeds and sizes, and I have a special soft spot for rescues who may need a little extra patience and reassurance. In my home, dogs get plenty of love, snuggles, and attention, and I’m happy to follow your routines and care instructions so everything feels familiar from your home to mine. We have a large, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play, explore, and enjoy some fresh air. Walks are always at your dog’s pace — whether that means stopping to sniff every blade of grass or keeping things short and relaxed. We’re also just a block away from some beautiful walking paths and parks. Special requests and dogs with special needs are always welcome. I’ve been dog walking, sitting, and boarding for friends, family, and clients for over 25 years. I’ve cared for dogs at every stage of life — from energetic puppies to seniors who need a gentler approach — and I truly enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality and helping them feel their best. Safety is a top priority for me. I’m safety certified, have completed pet care and handling training, and I’m comfortable using a variety of harnesses, collars, and setups to make sure your dog stays secure and comfortable at all times.

Christie and her husband are so wonderful with our golden doodle Nola. Nola loves to go over to stay with them. Christie is so easy to work with and I could not have found better caregivers for my precious pet.

Schedule
My husband and I work alternate schedules so one of us is home 4 days a week. I have flexibility to work from home or bring my furry friends with me to the office.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fully fenced yard to allow exploring and great sniffing. We do greetings in the yard so everyone has plenty of space and we do greetings in stages / one at a time so no one is overwhelmed. In the house we have a series of dog gates to ensure no sneaking out of entry doors. We have dog beds a plenty in various rooms, along with toys and chewies and treats.
Pets
A typical day
Whether playing fetch, tug of war, playing hiding games or showing off tricks, I love seeing your pooch’s personality come out. We have some really beautiful parks nearby with lots to see and smell.
