She is punctual and attentive, and always sends the cutest photos to me and notes on how my cat is doing each day I was away. I hate leaving my cat for any period of time alone, but Annie made me feel like my cat was being well cared for each day she came to check in on him. Thank you so much! Highly recommend! 😊”

About: I had the pleasure of growing up with a Shih Tzu and a Yorkie as our family dogs. Additionally, I even had the opportunity to assist in breeding my Mom’s Yorkie once. Now, as an adult, I have personally owned two wonderful dogs: a Pitbull Lab mix and a Pitbull. Furthermore, I am currently frequently dog sitting for my mom's delightful dog as well. I provide Jiu-Jitsu instruction in New Lenox during the morning and evening sessions. Seeking opportunities for midday dog walks while using a Onewheel, I am available from 11am to 3pm. Each dog is unique, possessing individual needs. I cater to these needs in accordance with both the pet and their owner's preferences. Post an invigorating Onewheel walk or run, I ensure they are hydrated and fed. My own doggy loves a good cool-down in front of a fan, even if the temperature is in the upper 60s°F. During our outings, I stay attentive to whether the dog prefers running on grass or pavement. Sidewalks serve as an ideal and safe spot for this activity!

Amy V.

“Amy was great with following through with the meet and greet instructions for taking care of my Millie during the week I was out of the country. This is the first time of taking a chance with allowing someone in my home. Amy took excellent care of Millie and my home. Amy is definitely one you can trust!! Thank you, Amy??”

About: Apart from pet sitting, I understand the importance of caring for other health needs such as well being and confidence. My dog requires extensive care for her skin allergies, food allergies, and neurological disorders, so I am fully accustomed to the maintenance that comes with caring for any pets needs! Since I have grown up having several dogs at once in my home, I have extensive training experience including dogs of all ages. Along with caring for my own pets, I have also spent many years caring for other pets within my neighborhood when their owner takes vacations. I’m currently working part-time as well as attending college full time, but I will have plenty of time in the early mornings/afternoons to walk your pet and meet all their required needs! Since my class schedule will be constantly changing, my availability will be constantly changing as well. As of right now my availability is: Mondays: 6am-11am Wednesdays: 6am-11am Fridays- 8am-1pm My schedule is expected to change and my availability will become more open starting December 15. In my home I give my dog Stella apoquel daily to help with her itching and skin allergies. She also gets pumpkin purée, oats, and hypoallergenic wet food to improve her digestion. She also has Obsessive Compulsive Disorder which requires me to watch and ideally prevent tick attacks or other triggers that deplete her physical and mental well being. My dog Sophie has two legs that were injured when she was a puppy which prevents her from high activity such as jumping or running. As her owner I try to prevent her from getting into taller cars, and limit her playtime outdoors. My other dog Shiloh is still a puppy, so she is currently in her training period. We practice daily training and other mind exercises to keep her on track. Most of all having all three dogs together is important. They are all inseparable (and spoiled) sisters that require a little more love than the average pup!

About: I’ve been walking my own dogs as well as my friends’ pets for a long time and would like to get a good gig helping people with their pet needs. I’m currently working on weekends and I’m looking for a good opportunity to make some extra income this summer. Also, I’d like a good excuse to get a walk in my day. I will take care of clients’ pets in their own home and walk them as well as feed, pet, and attend to any other needs they may have.
