I have cared for puppies and gone through training them, as well as senior dogs who needed injectable and oral medication. I have had dogs and cats my entire life. I’m a retired preschool teacher and I’m an early riser and stay up pretty late. I have all day to spend and take care of animals. About: I currently have a 10.5 year old Golden Retriever named Nala. I don’t have a fenced in yard so we spend a lot of time going for long walks. I have had dogs my whole life and love to spend time with them. I'm a very nurturing person and I would make sure that your dog feels at home while they enjoy their visit with us. My dog gets along very well with other dogs so having an extra companion around for Nala would be great. I will make sure that your dog gets the attention and care that he/she needs ! I am a high school teacher, so right now I am gone from about 7-330 each day - but we take a nice walk in the morning before I leave & then go for several walks throughout the remainder of the day. Dogs at my house are allowed on all furniture and free range of the house for their convenience! If your dog is not potty trained, I will request a crate to be brought over while I am out of the house.

We have American Red Cross CPR class, for dogs, two times a year at our dog grooming salon. All dogs must be potty trained to go outside. Puppy pad trained dogs are not accepted. Diapers on dogs are not accepted. Thank you for considering us to care for your fur baby while your away. One of us stays in your home with your fur babies over night. We do have to go to work during the day. We do our best to try to keep your pet’s routine the same. We care for the client’s dogs in their home and follow whatever instructions we are given. “I will 1000% use Meaghan again. She accepted my dog into her home and treated her like she was part of the family. From family outings, to walks, to hanging out with her and her children, my dog was always included. I love that she sends morning updates with pictures. Being able to see that she is calm and comfortable with Meaghan and her family is very reassuring. My dog is very anxious, especially when we go out of town, and tends not to eat when we are gone. Meaghan was consistent and patient with her and finally was able to get her to eat on the 2nd or 3rd day.”

There are several nearby parks and walking areas where your pet can enjoy regular exercise, enrichment, and outdoor time. I typically accept only one pet (or pets from the same family) at a time. I do not board pets from different households together, which helps prevent conflicts, anxiety, and unnecessary stress. This allows me to give each pet my full attention and ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and at home during their stay.

Because of that, we were a little nervous about having them stay somewhere else, but Emily was absolutely wonderful! She was incredibly patient, loving, and kind with both of our dogs—especially our Labrador, who has become quite the homebody in his older years and needed a little extra time to adjust to being away from home. Emily handled it with so much patience and care, and we could tell she genuinely wanted him to feel comfortable and secure. When we picked them up, they were excited to see us but were clearly happy, comfortable, and well looked after. It’s obvious that Emily genuinely cares about the animals she watches and treats them like her own. “I can’t say enough good things about Viktoria! I’m so thankful and grateful for how much love and care my Luna received from her! I’ve never felt good about leaving Luna with anyone the way I did with Viktoria. She reached out to me with updates daily, and even prior to take off on my flight she messaged just in time, and sent a video showing me how well Luna was doing. Just that reassurance before a long flight, was such a considerate and helpful thing! From day one through day 8, I was able to truly know Luna was having a wonderful staycation with her. Luna was treated with the best love and care, just like she does at home with us. Not only can you trust Viktoria to take care of your dog but she loves them like they’re her own… and you can’t ask for better! I highly recommend her to anyone! She is the best!!
