“My wife and I recently rescued a puppy after making travel plans months earlier. Because our puppy Sophie was still too young for full vaccinations, we were not able to board her with a doggy daycare, and we didn’t have any friends or family available to care for her during our trip. We used Rover to find Teresa, and were grateful that we did. We met with her about 2 weeks before our trip, so she and our puppy could meet. The first meeting went well, and we were confident with our choice to have her take care our puppy during that visit. While Teresa had Sophie, she sent us regular updates, photos, and video of her playing and being happy. About: I currently have two cats that I love dearly. I feed them, clean their litter boxes, and play with them daily. They love flipping and running for string toys, as well as pushing around balls and plushies. I give them medicine when needed and have experience with cutting nails. My favorite thing to do with cats is sit and stare at them.

Here's a more genuine version: I’ve been a dog owner for many years, and my 15-year-old Pomeranian is a very special part of our family. He has been with us for so long that I honestly can’t imagine our home without him. I’m also a mom of three, so we have a busy but loving family home where pets are very much part of everyday life. My kids love dogs, and we’re used to having a furry member of the family around. Having a senior dog has taught me to be patient and pay attention to the little things. I know that older dogs sometimes need a little more rest, more frequent potty breaks, and extra care and attention. We also travel to Egypt and Serbia every year, and my Pomeranian has flown overseas with me many times. I know how much work it can be to travel with a dog, and I also know how hard it is to leave them behind. That’s actually one of the reasons I decided to offer boarding. I’ve had to leave my own dog with people I trusted, and even then, I knew he acted differently because I wasn’t there. I remember wondering if he was okay, if he was comfortable, and if someone was giving him the same attention I would. So when your dog stays with me, I want you to feel comfortable too. Normal boarding facilities don't offer frequent potty breaks, can't accommodate special needs and don't give your pup the one-on-one playtime they deserve. You don't have to worry about that with me! Starting this new chapter in pet care is very exciting, and I'm looking forward to giving your pet a safe and fun place to stay. I am the primary sitter but will be assisted by my girlfriend Sam who lives with me. Your dog will benefit from a multi-person home with plenty of attention and companionship. We have no pets or children so your furry friend will be the king or queen of the house! Whether your pet needs a quiet spot to lounge or energetic play sessions and walks, I am flexible to their personality. I have cared for pets of all shapes and sizes for family & friends over the years. I pride myself in being attentive to your pet along with flexible and easy to work with. My goal is to make your pet feel completely at home while allowing you to relax during your travels! I am happy to provide as many updates you would like. My longtime girlfriend and I both work from home everyday! We have plenty of time to care for your pet. We can accommodate your pets schedule however needed. Our home is free roaming and pet friendly. Doggies are welcome in bed or on the couch if they desire. We also have a very large backyard and enjoy walks if that is your pets preference.

During the five days we were away, Mariah sent daily updates with photos and a diary of our dog’s activities, which gave us so much peace of mind.
