About: I’ve been dog sitting for family, friends, and neighbors since i was 12. Ive had experience with puppies as well as older dogs that need more help with things daily. I will always play or run around with dogs if i’m not petting them. I am currently working a part time job which leaves Thursday’s to Sunday’s open! Starting mid September I will be going to a school to get my CDL license, this will take up Monday-Friday mid day, but weekends and afternoons I will be available! I’ve learned how to deal with crating dogs if needed, as well as worrying about a dog jumping on me or barking. If an older dog ever needs any assistance and requires me to pick them up for help with stairs or a porch I’m willing to do so.
“Great sitters! They did exactly what was asked and were great about sending pictures and communicating. Friendly and down to earth. So easy to work with! We’ll be using them again.”

“Simply put, Anthony was great. This is my first time using a pet sitter and Anthony took the time to answer all of my questions which really put my mind at ease. My Doberman warmed up to Anthony rather quickly which was evident in the terrifuc reports and photos that Anthony provided after each visit. Thank you, Anthony!”

“Roisin has watched my dog 3 or 4 times now. I can always count on Roisin to take great care of her. She's trustworthy and reliable. I would definitely recommend her.”

About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my entire life and truly understand that every pup is different. I trained my own stubborn Yorkie with patience and consistency, and I currently care for my senior Golden Retriever who has hip issues so I’m experienced with both energetic young dogs and gentle, slower-paced seniors. Whether your dog needs structured walks, positive reinforcement, or a calm and patient pace, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, understood, and happy every step of the way. I treat every dog like my own and always prioritize safety, communication, and making sure you feel completely comfortable while your pup is in my care. I’d love to meet your best friend! 🐶💛 Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I have a very open and flexible schedule. I prioritize staying active and structured in my days — I regularly go to the gym and attend Bible study — which allows me to consistently plan walks and drop-ins throughout the day. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening walks, including weekends, and I’m happy to accommodate last-minute or same-day requests when possible. As a lifelong dog owner, I understand how important trust is, and I treat every dog with the same patience and care I give my own.
“Emalee is amazing!!! I highly recommend her services. Emalee takes care of Scooby every week while I'm at work. Emalee never disappoints. She is amazing with Scooby, at least that's what he told me! Lol. Emalee is always early and her communication skills are fantastic. You will get a response quickly. She is also very very flexible. I couldn't ask for more!”

About: I have been taking care of all kinds of pets since childhood. I have an interest in all kinds of animals and I do not mind doing the dirty work to take care of them. I currently work 8-5 on weekdays, often ending at 4 or 4:30. I wake up early and can fit pet care into my morning before work and directly following work. In the morning, I can provide food and time outside/play time, and directly after work, I can provide a walk/exercise outside, and I can visit more times later in the evening as well. On weekends, I can come at any time of day, as many times as needed. I have a reliable form of transportation in the form of my own car, and I can very easily get from place to place. I live in the Frankfort suburbs, not too far from many places. In my own home, my pets stay in the house, and the dog is regularly taken outside for the bathroom, as well as getting walked once a day, sometimes twice. The cats do not go outside, and their litter gets cleaned once a day, but I can do more for your own pet. The dog is fed twice a day, and the cats are fed wet food once a day, with dry food available throughout the day.
About: I have always had a soft spot for dogs and can't get enough puppy love. I have dog-sat for many of my close friends and family who have always been satisfied with my care because they truly know that I treat their pets like they are my own. They get specialized care and play time to ensure they are stimulated and happy. I have always had dogs growing up and have a dog of my own, named Stacy, who I enjoy spoiling. I’m currently working remote part time so I will have plenty of time to check in and play with your pup. We will go on walks at a relaxed pace so they can stop and smell the roses along the way. I am happy to take any steps to ensure your dog is stimulated, happy, and well cared for. Every dog has different needs and I will love to care for yours!

“Lauren was wonderful! I was in a bind and needed someone last minute and she came through. My dog is very wary of strangers but warmed up to Lauren quickly. I am already booking her again and would definitely recommend.”

About: I have had dogs and cats in my life for as long as I can remember. I am just starting my Rover journey and cannot be more excited! I am comfortable around all dogs and willing to adapt and learn what is best for your pet. I will take care of your fur baby, go for walks, and even take them to dog parks if you like. I have two dogs of my own and a cat that believes he owns the house, lol. My schedule is flexible, and I can drop in and accept last-minute bookings. I am currently looking for my next adventure, and why not do something that I enjoy? I have quite a bit of free time during the day and would be more than happy to spend it looking after your cat or dog :) I live on five acres with a fenced-in backyard, plenty of space for dogs to be outside and run around and play. They're favorite on a nice day, just soaking up the sun!
About: I’ve taken care of animals for as long as I can remember. I started working at a veterinarian clinic when I was in high school and eventually became a veterinary technician. My time working has allowed me to gain multiple skills from caring for senior animals to administering many different forms of medication. Whatever care your pet needs, I’ll be able to handle it! I am currently a student, so I am mainly free on the weekends. Depending on your location, week nights can possibly work for me as well! When I am with your pet, they will have my undivided attention. Whether they are a youngster who needs a lot of play time, or an older pet who just needs some extra cuddles. I have worked with a wide variety of sizes and types of animals so I can handle just about anything!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Manhattan
Roisin did daily drop-ins for my two cats for 3 days. She sent me multiple updates after each visit and sent several great photos. Even when one cat was hiding each time - she found her! This was my first time leaving them this long - they’re rescues so I was really nervous, but I felt so much better knowing they were in Roisin’s care, especially with all the pics/updates. She’s very trustworthy and followed their feeding schedule perfectly. I will absolutely be rebooking with Roisin. Thank you!

Lauren was absolutely Wonderful with our German Shepard, Valor. She is very responsive to communication, even prior to starting her role of watching him while we were on vacation. Every day she would share multiple pictures of our pup on each visit. We had Lauren come to our home 3X/day. We felt it was a great combination for Valor. She took him on walks and let him get his energy out. It was comforting to know while we were away he received so much care, attention, and love from her. Seeing his pictures every day brought smiles to our kids faces as well. Lauren is wonderful at what she does. Knowing your other family member that can’t be with you on your travels is taken care of brings a lot of peace. We know in the future we will be seeking out care from Lauren. Thank you so much!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
