“Our 2 cats, Phoebe and Finn loved having Katharine stop in to take care of them. They were given treats, brushed, and fed. They had their pictures taken and sent to us. They even asked when we were leaving again -- just kidding about that! Katharine sent us notes daily about how they were doing. Made my trip more relaxing knowing they were well taken care of. About: Hi my name is Asia. I’m really excited to have extra income but I’m more in it for the loving animals. Animals are my life! I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets to care for. I have two bearded dragons, two cats, one dog, and one fish. In the mornings I go to the gym and after I’m pretty much open throughout the day until school starts, which is in the beginning of January. Feeding and watering animals,Playing with them and keeping them company, Walking the dogs, Grooming and brushing the animals' coats, Changing the cat's litter box, Providing health care if necessary. Giving them affection, so they don't feel abandoned after their owner leaves.

About: I've been helping care for animals for as long as I can remember! I have helped my family pet sit, volunteered at the animal shelter, and genuinely enjoy the company of animals. I am currently working as a freelance artist! Between gigs I have lots of flexible time to come take care of your pets. I am available for drop-ins/walks most days of the week, and I usually have some weekend availability! It's a priority of mine to establish trust with your animals! I am very keen on body language and other behavioral cues that allow me to meet your pets where they're at. If there are special instructions for an animal, I make sure to follow them to the letter.

About: I treat every pup like my own. If your dog isn't napping or resting, we'll be active and engaged. That may include playing with their favorite toy, going on a walk, or getting plenty of belly rubs and pats. I believe dogs thrive on love, attention, and activity. Therefore, I make sure they're never bored or lonely. I'm currently a student at UIC with one class online and one class in person. My schedule is very flexible, which allows me plenty time for walks, drop-ins and overnight care. Your dogs safety and comfort are my top priorities. On walks, I let your pep lead the way so they can explore at their own pace. I love finding nearby parks where they can burn energy. It I'm caring for a pet in your home, I'll always follow your instructions closely to maintain their normal routine.

About: My husband & I recently moved to Manhattan! We were dog sitting when we lived in the city & hope to continue here in the suburbs! We are total dog lover and can't wait to spend some time with your furry friend! I currently work full time as a school social worker. I’m typically away from home until 4pm. About: I’ve had 3 dogs during my entire life all whom i’ve loved immensely. I’ve dog sat for many family/ friends and they’ve all had me come back to dog sit again! i love doing it :) I work part time at a coffee shop, so i’d have to work around that, i’m looking for a flexible schedule but to be able to fill my time in with animals! I have a small dog myself, if i were to have any body else’s dog at my home i would crate my dog just because he gets too playful when he’s with other dogs and can tend to be more aggressive
