“Katherine is amazing! We have a very shy cat who typically hides from people and Katherine won him over right away! She took great care with our cats and was excellent at communicating with us. We never had to worry at all! We will definitely hire her again and can't recommend her services highly enough.”

“We felt so good knowing Olive was in Art's hands while we were away. His friendliness and knowledge made Olive feel comfortable while we were gone. Art kept in touch with us and sent us pictures after having some great play time. We will definitely use Art again.”

About: I have experience with all different dog breeds and sizes. I know great helpful training techniques. Also, I grew up living with dogs up until now. I have a full time Hybrid job. I work from home 3 days a week and the workload has been fairly light. I currently live with no furry friends and am missing the connection with them. I want to hold off on adopting right now so I thought the best way to fulfill my wants of having a dog will be through this app. I have no fenced in yard or much of a yard at all. My home is spacious though, so there is enough room for your pet to be comfortable and play indoors. I have 3 reptiles that will stay in their tanks and do not cause disruptions. They also love watching other animals from afar.
About: Hi! My name is Jasmine, and I provide reliable, caring pet sitting and dog walking services. With an extensive background in animal behavior and care, I bring both professional and personal experience to every pet I look after. I’ve grown up with a dog for 8 years, currently share my home with my cat Sage, and even worked as an assistant zookeeper while studying veterinary science in college. These experiences have deepened my understanding of different animals’ needs and personalities, and I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or extra love while you’re away, I treat every furry friend like family. I’d love the opportunity to meet your pet and help make your life a little easier! Monday-Friday 6:00 am- 8:00am and 4:30-9:00pm Saturday and Sunday open availability I’m available for dog walks and pet visits Monday-Friday between 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM and 4:30-9:00pm. Saturday-Sunday, I offer open availability for both walks and pet sitting, making it easy to schedule care that fits your needs. I provide attentive, compassionate care for pets right in their own home, so they can stay comfortable in a familiar environment. During my visits, I make sure your pets feel safe, happy, and well-cared-for, giving them the attention, exercise, and companionship they need. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, or simply keeping them company, I adapt to each pet’s unique personality and routine as needed by them and their owner.
“We are so lucky to have come across their page. They took the time to do a meet and greet with us and our beagle Baylor absolutely loves them! We would 10/10 recommend.”

About: Asst in training service dogs, have had dogs for the past 25 years. I have also had cats but do not have one currently. I watch my neighbors' animals, to include a bunny and other small animals as well. I currently work from home most days and am able to work from anywhere with my laptop if I am needed to stay at your home. This also gives me the availability to leave for breaks to take your animal out for small walks or potty breaks during the day. I have always had 3 dogs at a time, but I just lost my last fur baby in January 2026 so we just got a puppy in April as I just can’t be without a fur baby. I care for my animals as family, not pets, they sleep with me and my husband and go with us when we are able to take them.I provide more of a motherly service and will care for your fur baby as if he/she were my own. This includes playing and snuggling.
About: We have grown up around cats and dogs. We are the go to pet sitters for our families and friends. We have experience with cats, dogs, snakes, turtles, fish, and ferrets. We have house trained our dogs and know the patience required with the process. We both work from home so we are able to take dogs out as needed and nothing is better on a work break then cuddling some fuzzies. We have a large fenced in yard,so dogs can safely run and play. We always stay outside with them. Inside the house is pet proofed with couch protection covers and scratching posts for cats. All kitty litter is gated off from dog access. Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 1,547 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Preston Heights. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Preston Heights. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
