About: I've been around dogs all my life. As soon as I owned my own home, I bought two bassets! Been a dog owner ever since, until recently when I put my last of four doggies down. I've always been the go to for my friends and relatives, for watching their dogs because my dogs were friendly and I have a great house for it! I decided after saying goodbye to my last pup, instead of get a new dog, I would start watching others! I also love going for walks and will take you pup with! Between myself and my husband, one of us is typically home working during the day, Mon - Fri, so you're pet will seldom be alone! Our typical day, between myself and my husband, one of us is at home every weekday, working remotely. My youngest child just left for college so we are empty nesters plus we just put our last of four dogs down so we are ready for more personality in the house! We do have two cats but already keep then isolated to our upstairs. They will not mingle with your pet unless you are certain your pet would be friendly. We are very attentive pet owners. We like to keep animals near us and check on them often if they are not. We like to give them ample playtime. In the case of a dog, we have a fenced in yard and we also love to take walks! We also have a doggie door, in the case your dog is medium sized and willing to use them --- they can go in and out all day long!

About: Growing up my family has has many animals from hamsters to a horse, as well as 5+ dogs at a time. I have plenty of experience with all breeds and ages of dogs as we have fostered over 450 dogs through a rescue over the past 4 years. These dogs have varied in socialization ranging from scared of people, other animals, noises basically everything and by the time they are adopted out from us you could never tell the difference. I am comfortable administering medications, walking dogs who pull, jump etc. I have experience bottle feeding and working with particular diets. As well as dogs who are dog aggressive. Currently I am working in Orland park for 6 hour shifts as a personal trainer. Outside of the short time away, I can be available to care for your pet all other hours of the day. I love others pets as if they are my own. Typically the day begins early with a morning let out/walk, then followed by food and water. My dog has a small afternoon snack so we often give him a small scoop around 2pm and visit local parks for walks and socialization 2x a week. I make it a priority to get all clients dogs out a minimum of 4 times a day and more if desired, while also incorporating exercise into our mix for at least one of the stops.

About: Although I have one year of paid experience, during that time I’ve consistently cared for four families’ pets—including seven dogs, two cats, two bearded dragons, and a hamster—and continue to do so. I also have five animals of my own—three dogs (boxers) and two cats (hypoallergenic Siberians). When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, my approach is always centered around making your pet(s) feel safe, comfortable, and loved. In your home, I stick closely to your routines—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, sleep arrangements—so your pet(s) experiences as little disruption as possible. About: My first memory of being around dogs was when my grandmother had her two dogs. I helped her take care of them when she became to sick to attend to them. This was when i was around 13 years old. I feel a strong connection to animals. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. Before dinner I clean my cats box, vacuum his tree, wash his bowls, and brush his fur. He gets set wet feedings at specific times in the day and has an automatic feeder for dry food throughout the day. My fur baby is an indoor cat only. When I adopted him from the shelter, it was part of the terms I had to agree on before they released him to me. I perfer for him to be speakly inside so that hes safe.

About: I've been helping care for animals for as long as I can remember! I have helped my family pet sit, volunteered at the animal shelter, and genuinely enjoy the company of animals.
