About: I’ve always loved having animals in my life. I’ve been around dogs since I was a baby, my first dog was a year younger than me! I’ve also worked for a pet hotel and doggy day care where we would board anywhere up to 80 dogs each night, so I am very comfortable with dogs of all breeds, sizes and personalities. The daycare would usually be one person and around 20 dogs in a room, so I have lots of experience redirecting negative behaviors in order to keep everyone happy, calm and safe. My own dog also had some medical issues and needed a wheel chair when he got older, so I’m comfortable caring for pets with special needs and that need medication administered. I would love to help you out and get to know your pet! I just submitted my masters thesis and am in a bit of a holding pattern until I graduate in January so my availability is completely open for the next few months. I am happy to provide check-ins as often as you’d like and will work with whatever training systems, daily schedules, etc. that you already have in place. I have cat and dog first aid training and will care for your pets as if they were my own.

I have always had 1-2 dogs in my household at a time so I am used to multitasking while providing equal attention. I often watch my older brothers dogs when he goes out of town, he has 3 dogs (2 Bernedoodles and 1 soft coated wheaten terrier). I have experience with provide care to puppies up until senior dogs. About: What sets me apart is my hands-on experience and genuine love for animals. Growing up, I cared for my own dog who had diabetes, which meant giving him insulin shots twice a day and making sure he was comfortable and healthy. I was also the one who trained him, so I’m confident with teaching and reinforcing good habits. On top of that, many of my friends trust me to care for their dogs when they’re away, so I’m used to looking after different breeds and personalities. I currently work Monday-Thursday as a mental health therapist in the afternoons (3–8:30 pm), which means my mornings are wide open until about 2:30 pm. On Fridays, I'm typically available all day. I am also available on select weekends with a little advance notice. When I’m caring for pets, I try to keep their routine as close to what they’re used to at home so they feel safe and comfortable. I’m able to crate your dog if needed, and since I don’t currently have any pets of my own, your dog will get my full attention without the stress of other animals around. Whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles, feeding, or medication, I make sure each pet gets the care they need and plenty of love along the way.

About: I’ve taken care of family members dogs and have been trusted for 2 weeks at a time with their dog over the summer. I have been around dogs all my life as well and learned how to distinguish the behaviors of the dogs. I’m currently in school and so my availability is limited. I'm a private yoga instructor, so I have a flexible schedule and can easily accommodate pet care visits at a time that works best for you and your pets.
