About: I’ve taken care of family members dogs and have been trusted for 2 weeks at a time with their dog over the summer. About: Animals are freakin awesome and I love them! I've had snails, a bird, frogs, co-owned cats (one at a time), as well as cat sit. I grew up with a dog, and spent 15+years with my beloved baby Shiba Inu Kenji. He had one eye, lots of arthritis, kidney issues, and half his teeth in the end but was full of life! Very familiar with meds and schedules and special needs, natural food etc. Not ready for another and didn't know much about this service. I wish l'd have known, so let me help YOU! (Note- i cannot take dogs over 60lbs, check box options are limited. Thanks for understanding) I work from home so can be available for full days, or as needed. Weekends I may have some things to do but will prioritize where needed. I do not have a crate, but you can provide. Otherwise I have bowls and beds and cones of shame as well as soft flower cone where needed. I also have gates and a pen, and multiple doors. I treat my animals (mine or family friends) like a kid. Safety always, lots of love, and a fun time!

There are several nearby parks and walking areas where your pet can enjoy regular exercise, enrichment, and outdoor time. I typically accept only one pet (or pets from the same family) at a time. I do not board pets from different households together, which helps prevent conflicts, anxiety, and unnecessary stress. This allows me to give each pet my full attention and ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and at home during their stay.

Having met them a few weeks prior to the extended Rover visit, it was clear that they are really great people, whose positive qualities directly translated into the great amount of care they provided for Mr. Chips during his stay. The amount of updates and open communication they were willing to provide throughout the stay also made a world of difference. Seeing chips having tons of fun totally removed any sense of the worry I would have had leaving him for the 11 days.
