About: Animals are freakin awesome and I love them! I've had snails, a bird, frogs, co-owned cats (one at a time), as well as cat sit. I grew up with a dog, and spent 15+years with my beloved baby Shiba Inu Kenji. He had one eye, lots of arthritis, kidney issues, and half his teeth in the end but was full of life! Very familiar with meds and schedules and special needs, natural food etc. Not ready for another and didn't know much about this service. I wish l'd have known, so let me help YOU! (Note- i cannot take dogs over 60lbs, check box options are limited. Thanks for understanding) I work from home so can be available for full days, or as needed. Weekends I may have some things to do but will prioritize where needed. I do not have a crate, but you can provide. Otherwise I have bowls and beds and cones of shame as well as soft flower cone where needed. I also have gates and a pen, and multiple doors. I treat my animals (mine or family friends) like a kid. Safety always, lots of love, and a fun time!

“Alyssa and Charlie were so nice and friendly! Nemo took to them right away. He got along with their dog well . Would definitely ask them to watch Nemo again!”

“Viktoria took care of Sev for an afternoon on extremely short notice while I was at work, and he seemed to love his time over there!!”

“This was Gina’s first time watching my baby Avital. Let me just say GINA IS FANTASTIC! She accommodated a last minute, super super early doggy daycare. She promptly arrived to pick up Avi, and dropped her off for me. She kept me up to date throughout the day on her status, and activities, with both photo and video. I’m so incredibly impressed as a nervous dog mom of an infant! Gina was able to keep my nerves at bay and provided a perfect environment while I was at work. Will DEFINITELY recommend and we will DEFINITELY be repeat clients. Absolutely amazing.”

About: I’ve had a dog in our lives for the past 12 years who passed away a couple months ago. We rescued 3 kittens in 2021. Jack is our oldest cat and he is quite a character. Luz is our middle cat and she is the sweetest little thing to look at/she loves to talk. Baby is our not so little baby and is such a friendly loving cat. I’m currently working 80% remote from home during the week and available on the weekends. Having my cats at home have kept me company and make the day go by faster. My cats have free range of our home and no restrictions. They have their favorite spots to nap during the day which is our bathroom, under my teenagers beds and on my bed while I work. We have snack and play time but mostly love to lounge during the day. We’re looking to add some additional character in our environment. Our home will be your pets second home.

“Robert, Agnes and the girls were awesome! They showered Ivy with love and attention. She loved running around their fenced yard. They were flexible when our plans changed at the last minute and sent photos while Ivy made herself at home there. We will definitely use them again.”

I have a fenced in large backyard with plenty of room for your dog to run around. I have a small long haired mini dachshund that will keep your pet company. If your dog needs to be crated, I can have that option available. Rest assured, you can have all the confidence in the world that your pet will be in safe hands.

“AWESOME SITTER - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Will be very happy to use Lynda again! I contacted Lynda the day before I was going for a spontaneous day trip to Michigan and she agreed to a last-minute booking for my dog Bob. Lynda was so gracious and invited Bob & me over to meet her, her husband, and their daughter's dog, Teddy. I was so thrilled Bob had a playmate for the day and the two pups got along very well! Lynda & Mark are fantastic people and even said to drop Bob off that night so I could start out early the next morning! Wow, did I appreciate that as it certainly made it easy for me! Lynda checked in with me the next day and all was well with Bob! I truly appreciated the update on my boy, Bob! My day trip ended up going a little later than planned and when I contacted Lynda to let her know I'd be late, she was wonderful! I felt genuinely fortunate to have Lynda and her husband watching Bob! Bob seemed very happy & content staying with them and I was extremely comfortable with this hospitable couple. I would highly recommend Lynda & Mark in a heartbeat and won't hesitate to have them watch Bob again!”

About: I’ve been taking care of cats and dogs for the past 10 years. I love all animals and very reliable! I currently have a cat of my own. I’m currently off work for the next few months due a recent foot surgery. I’m available full time daily and would love nothing more than to spend my time with your fur baby. I have a very friendly cat who is in need of another animal to hang out with at home. I live in an apartment with no yard. However, I am able to walk dogs outside. I have grass and trees all down my street and a park nearby.

About: i have taken care of dogs since i was 9! my family grew up having 3 dogs at a time usually. i also love caring for friends, family, and neighbor’s dogs! i’m usually the go-to because of my friendly and animal-loving nature! i would love to house your dogs for as long as you need! just shoot me a text for when you need me and i’ll get back to you! while providing a fun time with your pup, i will make sure that they are safe and have everything needed for a very comfortable time!

About: I have walked and taken care of mine and several of the dogs in my neighborhood for several years now and have experience with most breeds. I work with a flexible schedule and am especially free those cold months you don’t want to go outside. I am also for longer periods of of care for vacations and whatnot. I myself have a very friendly labradoodle and there’s plenty of space for them to run or walk on leash. I live near miles and miles of walking trails.

About: My family and I love dogs so much but where we live we are not allowed to have 1 of our own to keep but we can watch them in our home. This would be a wonderful way to get our puppy fix and make some extra money. We will play and pet and walk and love your dog as it was our own. It would be so wonderful to play with several different doggies and live them while you are not available. It's hard when we have to work and be away from our kids and doggies are just like our kids, so to have someone babysit you 4 legged kids is wonderful and I would love to be the person to spend time with them and help them not be lonely I work but am home the rest of the time and my husband is home on a few days I'm at work and my kids are home as well. I have a fenced yard and 5 people who will car and love your pets and make sure your loved one is safe and loved

8. Lisa F.
“I've known Lisa for 20 years. We met as neighbors and our pets bonded us as lifelong friends. She is a go-getter and always thinking of others. She is so thoughtful and kind not just to humans but to animals too. She is also knowledgeable about different breeds, she did her research before getting her dog. She is a great resource overall. She always knew where to find the best toys, healthy snacks, and food. Yearly she would send a care package to me and never forgot to include something for my cat. We have both lost our beloved fur babies and working for Rover would allow her to fill the void. I imagine she looks at Rover as a way to honor her Kenji and spread her love for animals to those who need a helping hand.”
