“Suzanne was very nice, punctual and I had complete confidence in her. This was a long time away and the first time I’d left my cat for so long. Suzanne sent me photos and reassured me all was well. And it was. With my cat, with my condo and thus with my trip. Thanks so much. I will certainly ask for her again.”

I pride myself on having a strong sense of animal behavior and adjusting care accordingly to each individual pet’s temperament. I have a great deal of experience with senior pets and/or pets with a strict medication regimen. I understand that these animals often need additional patience and compassion and I am always striving to reliably provide such care. I hope that I get to meet you and your pets very soon! Pet care is currently my main focus so my weekly schedule is almost always open. I am extremely flexible with scheduling which means I will be available to do reoccurring visits or extended pet sitting if need be. But I will absolutely check in, walk or play with your pet any chance that I get! Normally it would be in the morning or near the evening. My schedule is more open on the weekends. I am available for drop-ins/walks most days of the week, and I usually have some weekend availability! It's a priority of mine to establish trust with your animals! I am very keen on body language and other behavioral cues that allow me to meet your pets where they're at. If there are special instructions for an animal, I make sure to follow them to the letter.
About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. My first dog, Buddy, got me through some awkward stages in my adolescence. Moved on to two loving beauties, Pit/Pointer and a Great Dane/Mastiff . Heartbreak as we said goodbye to our babies, but now we snuggle with our cuddle bug Blaze and our Great Dane puppy, Daisy May. My family and I have also watched and cared for other dogs, earning trust and loyalty with families and their fur babies. I am fortunate enough to be home by 3:45pm every day. Being a special education teacher, I get to enjoy my breaks and days off at home. Caring for animals is our top priority in our house. This means, constant play time, walks, and lots of cuddles. We keep our routine of feeding and walking any dogs that are at our home. We have two of our own dogs, Black Lab and a Great Dane, both are the sweetest and have always been around other dogs and children, with no concerns.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, and taking care of them is second nature. I see Rover as a way to interact & keep them in my life while not having one of my own at home. I already routinely take 1 to 2 walks during my day, so the addition dog walking or sitting fits rights into my daily schedule now. In your home, I am clean, orderly, and can clearly follow all instructions given. You will find your fur baby and your home better off than you left them before
About: I have experience grooming and administrating medicine to furry friends that don't enjoy the process. Big or small, quiet or loud, friendly or shy I accept all pets and treat them as if they were my own. I babysit full time which includes pet sitting. I have open availability to take last minute bookings. I have the luxury to do this full time and love to work with peoples schedules. I have a fur baby named Micheal Jackson who I found at the shelter. He is a 5 year old long haired cat. He gets fed a variety of different foods to maintain a healthy diet.
“Emily did an awesome job doing drop-in visits with Sierra. She is great with communication, came for a meet n greet first and followed instructions for the visits. Sierra absolutely loved having her come over to play fetch in the yard, she got belly rubs, fed her treats and made sure she had fresh water before she left. I would absolutely have Emily again…she did a great job all around!”

About: Hi there! I’m Mia. I have a passion for pets of all sizes and breeds. I am excited to be able to help you by caring for your pets while you are away. Your babies will be cared for and loved just as if they were my own. I have had bunnies, dogs, birds, lizards, turtles, cats, and ducks though out my life. I love animals, and I’m looking forward to meeting you and your pets. Currently with summer here I’ll have plenty of time to play and care for your pups! I’m available for drop ins and walks on weekdays, and weekends vary. I have a big open yard but sadly I will not be available for boarding. I will be doing walks or drop ins if wanted. I personally love playing with pups outdoors with toys or anything available.
“Megan was absolutely wonderful!! She took great care of our dog while we were getting married! Our dog does not take to just anyone - but he took to her instantly! She’s reliable and passionate about dogs!! Frankie loves her!! 🤷🏼”

About: I’m fortunate to have experience with a wide variety of animals thanks to my cousins, who have two cats, three dogs, a turtle, and a horse. I help care for their pets regularly, so I’m comfortable meeting the unique needs of animals of all kinds and treating each one like family. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I’m currently finishing up breast cancer treatment and have intentionally chosen pet sitting as my primary work. This gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. I truly enjoy spending time with animals, and being able to provide reliable, loving care while I’m in this season of life has been incredibly rewarding. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible. At my home, pets have access to a securely fenced backyard for supervised play, exercise, and potty breaks, along with plenty of attention, affection, and a comfortable place to relax. In a client’s home, I follow their pet’s established schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any other care instructions. My goal is always to help pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away.
About: Welcome to our family! I have had pets all my life. I currently have an 8 year old cat (Ramsey) who was adopted from Paws in Tinley and a 2 year old terrier mix (Moose) who was a foster fail from traveling tail dog rescue. :) I currently work from home so I’m able to spend time with my animals, whether that’s cuddling up on the couch, getting some excessive in my fenced in back yard, or taking a walk on my lunch break. ***Moose is a VERY friendly dog. He is young and full of energy, often enjoying doggy daycare where he is with 20 or so dogs all day, playing. Your senior dog or a less friendly dog will probably not do well with his friendly but energetic personality. 😊 I’m home most of the day so that we have plenty of time for play and walks! My large fenced in yard provides all day access to fun. Pets run this house! They are free to go where they please and on the furniture and beds. We like the pets who stay here to feel as comfortable as possible.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Mokena
Amanda was great. Larry got to go out and play and also got fed in a timely manner. I was able to go to see the Nascar race in Joliet while not having to worry about Larry being locked in the house. Perfect plan. This was my first experience with Rover. Worked out well.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
