About: I've lived with dogs of various shapes and sizes my entire life! I understand the importance of timely bathroom breaks. My Beagle/Spaniel Luke does not tolerate late meals and neither do I! I mostly work remote so I'm often available throughout the day. Luke and I take multiple walks a day and I can fit multiple visits in a day! I have a fully fenced yard and reliable transport! Luke is very friendly with other dogs, but we know to give everyone their space and time. Never met an animal I didn't like!

“I give Iman 5 stars times 20. This is my first time using Rover and I selected Iman for home drop in visits for the week I was on work related travel. To say I was nervous is an understatement. However, from the time I met Iman I knew she was the right choice. I perceived her to be a gentle, compassionate and honest person. This was important to me considering the temperament of my fur babies. One is a rescue due to abuse and none have ever been border and I wanted them to stay in the comfort of their own home. Yes I got that vibe from just meeting her. Very positive ora and energy. Iman exceeded my expectation. My 4 fur babies took to her right away and she cared for them as I would. You can tell this is not just work for Iman it’s what she loves. She absolutely has a love for and way with animals.t antisocial cats were even drawn to her. She made sure the house was locked and secured each time and that the alarm was set. I will definitely continue to utilize her services for my fur babies. I can’t express my gratitude enough for having such an amazing and outstanding sitter. Also, they loved her dog food. ❤️”

“Suzanne is excellent in her care of pets. She is prompt, sends excellent pictures and detailed updates of our dog and two cats. We always have felt that our pets were in competent care.”

“Victoria has been great with Sierra. She was able to make a very shy 4 month old puppy feel comfortable and happy right away. Now Sierra gets so excited when Victoria comes to let her out, walk her and play with her. Communication has been great and she’s always on time to let Sierra out. Looking forward to Sierra having a long-term loving pet sitter.”

“Tara is fantastic! You can tell she really enjoys her job! She is timely, thorough and loving! Tara took great care of our big boy kitty Bela, she took time to get to know him, Bela loves to play and Tara was great playing with him, above and beyond what was expected! Tara is great with communicating and sending pictures, we felt very comfortable leaving Bela in her care. We will definitely request her again the next time we need care for Bela! We highly recommend Tara W!”

“I had a great experience with my cat sitter, Robin! She took excellent care of my cat Mochi—changing his litter, making sure he was fed, and even spending time playing with him. Mochi isn’t the most social cat, but I could tell he started to warm up to her, which says a lot. Robin also sent me regular pictures and videos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

About: We’re lifelong dog lovers who truly understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. Having grown up around dogs and now caring for one of our own, we’re very familiar with daily routines, different temperaments, and the little things that keep dogs happy and comfortable. Many of our close family members are also dog owners, so caring for dogs has always been a big part of our lives. What sets us apart is our calm, attentive approach and hands-on experience. We’re comfortable administering medications, including giving pills, and we’re happy to follow any specific care instructions your dog needs. Whether it’s sticking to a routine, helping a nervous dog feel at ease, or providing extra patience for puppies or senior dogs, we’re committed to making sure every dog feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m a teacher, so I’m home full-time during the summer, and my wife works from home most days. This gives us a very flexible schedule, allowing us to adapt easily to each dog’s routine and specific needs. We care for every pet as if they were our own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well-loved whether they’re in our home or theirs. We stick closely to each dog’s usual routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide. While we don’t have a fenced-in yard, we make sure dogs still get plenty of exercise and outdoor time by taking them out on a leash and going on regular walks. We’re attentive and hands-on during outdoor time to ensure their safety at all times.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Oak Forest
Sarah, the dog sitter for our senior dog Judge was absolutely wonderful. She went above and beyond; the pics she took of Judge were darling and informative. She left us texts every day and told us about his walks and brushing his teeth and giving him his vitamins and how his feeding went. Really it was more than we could absolutely hope for. Sarah, you are wonderful and so professionally competent. I will use Sarah every single time we leave our Judge, if possible.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
