About: Hi there! I’m Janna — a lifelong animal lover with plenty of hands on experience caring for dogs and cats. I currently live with a sweet, sassy cat (not mine, but I help care for him daily), and I’ve spent plenty of time pet sitting for friends and family over the years. As early as I was able to, I walked dogs around the neighborhood. My uncle has a dog and a cat that I would watch almost every weekend in high school. I lived with my cousin for a year before arriving in LA, and she has three cats (two of them orange cats!) that I helped care for daily. I moved to LA recently to pursue film and work on my art. As of right now, I have a very open schedule but that is subject to change. I will update my schedule routinely as it changes, and if something is booked in advance I will prioritize that. I will also openly communicate as early as possible if there are any conflicts with schedules. From daily feedings and playtime to calming anxious pets and maintaining clean litter boxes or outdoor potty schedules, I take pride in treating every pet like they’re my own. About: I grew up with three cats and in my adulthood I’ve had the privilege to take care of an amazing regal cat for the past 6 years, and have been honored to care for my parent’s dogs and friends dogs from time to time. I take pet care seriously and have had to administer oral medications from pills to droppers to applying salve and adding dietary restrictions into diets. Right now, I am working part time which allows me more freedom to be able to drop in on pets during the time frames listed, and also enjoy doing my own creative projects on the side. We love Michelle!! Our senior border collie really loves his walks and we feel at ease knowing that he's in good hands when we're not home. From the first meet and greet we were totally impressed with her professionalism and extremely thorough questioning. She owns her own dog and she is VERY knowledgeable about dog breeds. We also have a somewhat complex combination lockbox and she had no problems following our instructions. She's very responsive and reliable and communicating is easy. I am transitioning back to work and knowing that my baby has someone trustworthy really helps my anxiety leaving him. We have Michelle recurring weekly with walks now and it truly is a relief! I highly recommend Michelle!
Upon meeting Cassandra she was very professional and sweet. She quickly bonded with both of our dogs and asked important questions that would help her better understand our dogs' behaviors and needs. We appreciated how precise she was in describing how she was going to care for our dogs and followed through in all respects. We were routinely sent updates and numerous photos on a daily basis. Cassandra captured some beautiful moments of our dogs together that we are going to frame at home. She's a great picture taker! Sana is a wonderful walker! I have a senior border collie who needs a walk while I'm at work. He loves Sana and is so much calmer now when I come home! It really helps my anxiety knowing that my big baby is taken care of during the day. She's right near the park which is very convenient since we're right down the street. Overall we're very happy with our walking experience! As I transition back to work I will likely make these walks recurring weekly. 😊
I am so particular about who I hope to have around my senior dog but Dea has been so sweet and punctual and so understanding of my dogs wants and needs! I feel like I can take a deep breath knowing she’ll pop in to check on my pup from time to time! Cannot recommend enough
