About: For over seven years, I volunteered with a rescue group, training and caring for dogs with behavioral issues and special needs. (Not to mention plenty of well-adjusted, healthy pups!) As the parent of a senior dog myself, I empathize with all of the emotions and apprehension that can occur (on both sides!) when pets are apart from their people, I understand how important it is to know your pets' caretaker is not only capable of providing the logistical support to keep your pet healthy while you are away, but that they genuinely care about your pet and their experience. In caring for your pet, I aim to provide you with the peace of mind that the furry piece of your heart you couldn't take with you is having a great time while you are away from home. I will learn your pets' routines and send regular updates to let you know how they are doing during your absence. I understand that animals are individuals, and what works for one dog/cat/other may not work for another. I have experience working with pets of a wide array of ages, energy levels, and medical needs, have experience managing intricate feeding and medication schedules, and have some experience administering (cat) insulin injections. If you have any questions, please ask away! As far as what I request from clients: If I will be staying in your home, clean bedding/towels are appreciated. Additionally, i am not likely to eat food you’ve left behind, so if something in your refrigerator or on your counter will expire before you return, you may wish to dispose of it before leaving. My job is currently remote as of the time I am writing this; so my care schedule for overnight stays can be somewhat flexible as long as you have a strong, secure WiFi. Additionally, I will need to stop home 1-2 times during the day most days to care for my own senior dog while their other parent is at work. This has not and should not cause a disruption for our stay, especially if you are located in (or within a short bus ride to/from) Capitol Hill or the Central District. I tend to be more of a night owl than an early bird. For walks and drop-in visits outside of overnight stays, I am generally available after 6:30pm on weekdays and after 1:30pm on weekends. Nobody knows your pets better than you, so I will follow your care instructions and take in anything else you think I should know about your best bud(s) during our time together.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 13. I've dog and cat sat for neighbors, family, and friends which included feeding, cleaning, walking, and medication administration. I've taken care of puppies and elderly dogs both needing additional cares. I am currently a college student so I have an atypical schedule, but am usually available to check in on your pet every 4-6 hours. I am very active so I can take your dogs on many walks or even runs. If you have a fenced in yard, I can take them out that way in addition to walks. For cats, I know how to clean litter boxes.

About: Friends, family, and neighbors have relied on me to look after their furry companions for over a decade! From my sassy senior Bernese Mountain Dog, to a Pitbull who likes to pull, to a Golden Retriever puppy with a seizure disorder, to a very talkative Malamute mix, I pride myself in my ability to get along with dogs of all ages, sized, and level of need. I am very comfortable walking large and giant breeds, caring for senior dogs, and watching wiggly puppies! I am a self-employed artist with a very flexible schedule, so I can dedicate as much time as your pet needs for me to keep them company. I always follow whatever household rules and pet care guidelines are set for me by the pet owners. I try to stay as true to your pet’s regular routines as possible so that their whole world isn’t thrown off too much! Meal times and walks are whenever YOU set them, if they’re not allowed on the furniture with you then they’re not allowed on the furniture with me, and if your dog/cat always sleeps on the bed with you, then they’re can sleep on the bed with me :)

About: Hey there! I’ve had animals all my life: cats, dogs, goats, chickens, you name it! I currently live with a senior cat, but frequently pet sit for my parent’s 3 dogs (Pomeranian, golden retriever, and a terrier mix) as well as sitting for family friends. I have experience with all ages and temperaments! I’m currently in a transitional period and am open and flexible for pet care most days past 11am. Message me and I can let you know my exact availability I can walk dogs around any neighborhood comfortably, as well as drive them if needed. Flexible schedule ( Work-from home ), Uniquely experienced with multi-pet homes, insulin-delivery/diabetic care, all ages, sizes, special needs (food, gates, routine, etc.), Latest Pet care: West Seattle home - 1 large dog with food allergies, 1 dog with vision impairment, 1 cat. This was then blended with 2 more cats! I love staying with this pet family for extended periods as they travel. Madison Valley afternoon walks for a small dog and a long-term stay for another dog. Lived with a family for a year in NY for pet-care. (1 large dog with dietery limitations and medication needs, 1 small dog with elderly accommodations I've lived with and assisted with care for housemate's pets the last 5 years I've lived in Seattle. I grew up with a dog and a cat and remember taking care of the neighbors cat since I was 10. I really miss my cat who lives with my sister - he's the one with diabetes. I would love to care for your fur baby! I typically work from home Monday thru Friday 9am to 5pm so I can have daytime availability for pet care. I am available some weekends. When I work in office, it is parttime 4-5 hours per day. I find success sticking to the animal's pre-existing routines. Fortunately I have a flexible job that allows me to adjust as needed for earlier/later feedings/walks.

About: Hi! We are Natalya and Matt, both originally from Boulder, Colorado. Our home base is Colorado and we are currently traveling. Matt is taking 13-week contracts as a Sterile Processing Tech at different hospitals around the US so we can explore the country. Natalya works as a fully remote Executive Assistant for a veterinary cooperative and previously worked as a secretary at a grooming salon in Denver. In our free time, we love to explore the great outdoors, go to concerts, play music, write poetry, read (especially fantasy!), and practice yoga and meditation. We are both sober and don't smoke. We are quiet and respectful and treat each place we live with respect. Natalya grew up on a small farm and has taken care of dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, ducks, fish, parakeets, reptiles, and farm animals. She used to work as a nanny and housecleaner for about 10 years and has lots of experience caring for other people's pets, kids, and homes. She worked at a grooming salon for a year and a half and has experience with pretty much every age, breed, and temperament of both dogs and cats, including training puppies and caring for elderly pets requiring medication and other special treatment. She is excellent at soothing nervous animals in stressful situations. Matt is a traveling healthcare professional who has taken care of dogs and cats all his life as well. He is handy around the house and has learned a lot from building out our van. He cleans medical instruments for work and always keeps his living spaces sparkling. Natalya works fully remote so she can be at home all day caring for pets. We are currently staying in Seattle through mid-October while Matt finishes his current contract. We are going to be splitting time between living in our sprinter van that we built from scratch and housesitting. We both love animals but can't have any of our own for the time being due to our travel plans, so we are excited to borrow other people's animals and care for them like they are our own. We are always attentive to pets and put their needs first. We can structure our days around their feeding schedules and exercise needs. We are relaxed people and maintain a clean and calm environment to help keep everyone stress-free. We will ensure that your home and pets are given priority treatment while you're away and send lots of updates about how they're doing! We're always available for a call or text to check in.
